However a lot of unexpected charges like credit card surcharge, PPE charge (although work was done outside), didn't honor coupon, charge an hour of work for a 5 min of tightening. Worse of all, didn't even fix the problem and wanted to charge $300 extra. At the end, I ended up fixing it myself for less than $50. He is expensive but if he would had fixed it in the first place or come back and fix it properly without gouging me over again then I wouldn't had given him a poor review. read more

My sprinklers and hose spouts had low water pressure. Mark came out and adjusted the pressure regulator valve. He mentioned that it was on its last leg and might need to be replaced. He said if it needed to be replaced, he would credit the amount he charged for adjusting it. He checked the pressure and said it was back up. However, the water pressure was still weak. So I called him the next day and he came the next morning and replaced it. Now I have full pressure and as a bonus, my indoor water pressure also increased. I never realized how much I missed a good shower. Mark was prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous. He also wore a mask and respected the COVID-19 situation. I originally called another company to take a look at the problem and was told that it would cost 1,200$ to fix the problem. I had a slab leak and rather than doing an exploratory dig, another plumbing service recommended Mark for a sound test. He came out, felt around, and said "No need for the test, you have a hot water leak right here." So he saved me some money there, since the test is like $300. I told him where I thought the pipes were and by cutting through drywall and backtracking, he was able to isolate the leak and cap it so it affected only a single bathroom. He recommended re-piping around the leak rather than digging up my foundation to fix the pipe itself. I agreed. He also suggested using a PEX product for hot water lines, since it was cheaper, but I went with copper instead. The re-piping took a couple of hours but was uneventful. He also re-piped a cold water line to my refrigerator that had leaked, capped an indoor propane line, and (ultimately) replaced a utility sink that had been leaking. It's been about 2 weeks since and I haven't had to call him back. He showed up when he said he would and his work has been very good. I'd say his pricing is just above average. He's not the cheapest I've hired but he's not the most expensive either. read more

I would hire again. Mark came out to look for possible slab leak. In my opinion, he knew what he was doing and approached the problem very methodically. Within an hour he was able to identify the leak which ended up being in my front yard. He told me the general proximity of the leak using a specialized microphone. I called this company for bath fixture installation on Tuesday, nobody answered so I left a detailed message in the voice mail with the job description and my contact information. I heard nothing back so Wednesday evening i went to the company website and completed the contact request form, again with a detailed message and my contact information, still no response. I tend to give the benefit of the doubt more than i should and decided to try one more time using the yelp request quote which touts 2 hour response time at 100%, still no reply. So after 3 tries in 3 days I am finally giving up.
