Just got a big blue filter system installed. I am very happy with the quick and professional installation. I am most happy with how good of a solution was provided for me. My water is very highly chlorinated from TMWA and this system which was recommended changed everything. My fiancee and I recently relocated to Reno and noticed we were developing VERY dry skin and nose. I learned from the Pure Water rep Ray, that chlorine in the water was likely the culprit. Service rep Nick installed the Pro system and within a few days, the itching and dry skin went away. In addition we now have better than bottled water coming out of every shower, bath, and faucet. Our major appliances (washer, tankless water heater, dishwasher) are estimated to last 2X longer with pure water so it makes perfect sense to invest in the Pure Water system. Had my system installed almost 2 years ago. Love the system. Love the RO system. Water out of the RO system is better than bottle water.

We purchased a whole home water purification system and reverse osmosis (RO) system for our new home about one year ago. They were also paid to connect the RO system to our refrigerator. Upon installing both systems, the technician told us he could not connect the RO to the fridge. To make us whole, the technician told us they would conduct the first year service on the RO system and they would replace the filters for free. After a year, I called Pure to have the service completed. I was told they would not send anyone out unless I paid for the labor. They did offer to send out the filters. After receiving the wrong filters, they sent out another set. When I had difficulty installing one of the filters, I called them for guidance. I was told either I could bring the filter into their office, or I could pay them 115.00 for a technician to come out. Fortunately, I contacted the filter manufacturer and they guided me, over the phone, how to correctly install the filter. I do not recommend anyone purchasing a system from Pure Water Systems of Nevada unless you want to receive false information and pay unreasonable labor rates. read more

I decided to get an RO system in my condo to improve my drinking water quality and stop using plastic bottles. I called Culligan and was told that a sales representative would call me back. No one ever called me back so I checked online and found Pure Water Systems, a locally owned and operated business. Luke came out and explained about RO systems and I decided to have it installed. 3 days later Shane came out and installed the unit in my Kitchen. The job was completed in 45 minutes. About a week later Luke returned to test the water to make sure the system was working properly. We had our water softener installed last week, and so far so good. The water is significantly softer and it's working great! The sales guy was great (other than having to reschedule our initial appt and then forgetting about our 2nd appt). The installation was done by Mike, and he was very nice and good at his job. The downside, of course, was the cost of the system. This is our first time needing or having a water softener, and we really weren't expecting it to cost $3000, but that seems like the going rate for other companies as well. Make sure to mention if you are military or a veteran, as they have a pretty decent discount available for veterans. read more

While it's not my house, I have dealt with the Pure Water employees more than my parents with issues at their house. It's an older house on a well so it's a bit more maintenance than your average house, but Pure Water is always quick to respond. They review the work prior to, during, and after, including letting you know what you're signing and why. I've had the pleasure to have Raughn over for a couple fixes and he, as are his coworkers, is always thorough and responsive. Just like I said they only want your money and to sell you more equipment. So sad this company doesn't stand behind there word Pure water. We have had our water tested and tested by a company in Reno and they told us our water has to much nitrates in it we called pure water to fix it and they told we needed to buy a pump and change the filters. We did. We retested and it still failed. We took our water samples to UNR labs. Pure water told us we need a different system, we would have to pay more. Pure can back and took a sample of the drinking water and did not show us the results? Please give us our money back. We are senior citizens and my husband was a Vietnam veteran who now is battling cancer. We were told to high of nitrates can killed babies 7 months and younger. The only way we found out about the high nitrates is we had to have our water tested. Or we would have continued drinking this poison. read more
