I visited Table 13 during my stay at The Davenport Grand and ended up going twice because it was that good. On my first night, I sat at the bar and ordered a Grapefruit Drop before getting a burger to go. The bartender was friendly and attentive, and the drink was excellent. Bright, citrusy, and well balanced. The Table 13 Burger was fantastic, cooked just right with fresh toppings and crispy fries. I brought it back to my room and enjoyed it while catching up on email, and it hit the spot. The next night, I went back and ordered the same Grapefruit Drop again because I liked it so much. I tried the Fish and Chips this time, and it was delicious with crisp batter and tender fish. The slaw was crisp but mild, kind of the vanilla of slaws. It added texture but not much flavor. I finished with the Huckleberry River Cake, a creamy and tangy dessert with a rich berry sauce that was absolutely scrumptious. The atmosphere was relaxed. I was there on a work trip traveling solo and felt comfortable sitting at the bar. There were plenty of other guests talking and enjoying themselves, but it wasn't overly loud. Service was great both nights, and the location off the main lobby is convenient. The food was excellent, and the experience was consistently good. I would gladly eat here again. read more

This restaurant is located inside the Davenport hotel. I stayed here on a work trip. Decided to order from the hotel restaurant and I wasn't disappointed. I got the roasted half chicken, it comes with asparagus and rice but I substituted the rice for broccolini, and it came with a side of spinach soup. It tasted really good, chicken was marinated and roasted to perfection. The asparagus and broccolini were cooked just right. It still had the right amount of crunch and it was lightly seasoned. Service was great, the hostess took my to go order and I sat and waited for 25 minutes. She was friendly and helpful. I came for dinner a few weeks ago with my parents because they were staying at The Davenport and let me tell you, we all loved it. We got the calamari and cougar gold cheese dip to start and both were fantastic. The sauce that came with the calamari was so good and the cougar gold dip was absolutely to die for. Wish I could eat it every day lol! Service was good especially for being a busy weekend. It was full of families and couples so it definitely has a vibe that can be fulfilled for lots of people. We are guests at this hotel often as it is the overnight stop on our way to Montana from Poulsbo. A trip we make 3-4 times a year for the last 30 years. We usually dine at this restaurant. Last night we were informed by the hostess that they were not taking walk-ins - not even road weary hotel guests. We could see that the restaurant tables were 50% or less occupied. Protests got us nowhere. I surmised that they were simply understaffed as was the valet service and check-in. There is no excuse for this nonsense from a high end Marriott hotel. We dropped in on Table 13 before a show at First Interstate. The server seemed inexperienced, especially with the wine list. We started with salads and oysters on the half shell. The presentation of the oysters was especially well done. The main courses were another matter. I ordered the ribeye steak. It was cut far too thin to be served medium rare and came out basically raw. I have eaten at many of the high-end steak houses in town, including Spencer's and Churchills. Table 13 does not measure up in cut or flavor. My wife ordered the sea scallops, of which there were three. It may be time to consider going back to the overpriced Mexican menu, this one does not suffice. as a Yelp elite, I really try to be a booster for many of the bistros I visit but Table 13 missed the mark, badly. read more

This review is for the dinner that we had on 8/9/24 We stayed at the hotel for a night before heading to Pullman the next day for the WSU move in. We decided to have dinner here. The yelp reviews are a little scary but please don't let it deter you from eating here. The Yelp reviews state that there's Mexican food being served and not good. The menu on the website has no Mexican food so we didn't know what to expect. The menu on the site is correct. We ordered 3 dishes and shared family style. Calamari - It was a little tough but ok, probably won't order it again. Fettuccine with Vodka sauce - It was good my daughter liked it. It came with seasoned toasted sourdough slivers? Those were yummy. The roasted 1/2 chicken - When we ordered it, the server told us it would take 25-30 min. We didn't mind. We had the appetizer and pasta before the chicken came out. The server came and gave us fresh plates so the pasta sauce wouldn't interfere with the flavor of the chicken. It was juicy and flavorful. It came on a bed of rice with some type of creamy gravy sauce and it was rich and so good. This was one of the best roasted chickens we've had. Order it, you won't regret it. The Pearl dessert -I've never had a dessert like this and it wasn't too sweet, it was just right. We had a wonderful experience, left full and happy. The server was great. Out bar hopping with my man for his birthday. Staying at the Davenport Grand.. Hit two of their restaurants. Table 13 whisky bar and the bar directly inside. Drinks were a bit pricy. My Huckleberry lemon drop with $17 and wasn't anything special. Their other drinks were a little bit more normal price that 14. We have the teriyaki steak bites which were tender and delicious. We had cheesecake, the brisket tacos (which were a bit tasteless if it wasn't for the cilantro), and a flatbread.. service was okay. I just expect more flavor for the price. Once upon a time, we would always go to Table 13 before a show at the Performance Center across the street. Table 13 was expensive, but the menu was eclectic and delicious. So, we had reservations prior to seeing My Fair Lady (which was a wonderful performance). We already knew what we were going to order for dinner so our mouths were watering for the dishes. But...our smiles turned to frowns. Since when did Table 13 become Mexican food? Nothing but tacos and Mexican dishes and appetizers. If we wanted Mexican, we would have gone to a Mexican restaurant. We started with chips and salsa. They were like any other Mexican place, but Table 13 charges you, where Mexican places just bring it to your table. Our main dishes, a halibut something and a flank steak with corn tortillas were below standards. Plates were unappetizing to look at. Not plated well. Lots of dry Mexican rice and tasteless black beans. Basically, a Mexican restaurant would have cried if it delivered food like this. Still, overpriced, but not in a good way that makes it worth it. $100 for a bad Mexican dinner for 2 which included 2 bar drinks. I sure hope Table 13 realizes this terrible mistake and goes back to a menu that is worthy of a Davenport Hotel inside restaurant. We will not be going back until then. read more

Made a reservation a few weeks ago to a steak house. When we arrived it was now a Mexican themed restaurant. Shocker but gave it a try. Started with a ceaser salad that sounded great on the menu. It was out of a bag lettuce with not much dressing. Torn chunks of bread on top. One of the worst ceaser salads I have ever had. Did not eat it but waiter still billed me for it. The mains were ok but way too spicy for my wife. Menu never stated heat level was almost inedible. Prices are high for poor food that has no passion. Overall bad place and will never return. Wife had special Mac and cheese with grilled chicken as a side-which didn't arrive until halfway through the meal and was super salty. Service was good-thanks Anthony! This place has surprised me each time I've gone. Though it tends to be pretty empty when I've walked by, the dishes have great flavor, the wine pours are generous, and the service is kind and attentive. They have great huge booths that allow for a fun intimate gathering space, and the menu has something for everyone, from pasta, to fish and steak, and salads. If you come in from the Main Street, you're confused as to wear the reception desk is because it's not signed or posted where to check in for your reservation. Saw the new tequila and tacos menu and was excited to try. Not the first time in this location but the first for this incarnation. No host at the entrance was a miss, found my party seated in a booth and our server promptly took a drink order. Let me say that Forest our server was a delight from start to finish. The passion fruit margarita was decent not a standout. One of our group asked about wine and although it is a tequila bar there were other alcohol options however no wine at all, that seems like a strange omission. The table side guacamole was a nice touch and tasty. The tacos we ordered were all agreed to be fair at best. My taco el pastor was a mushy odd textured bite. Not sure where they went wrong but the pork seemed reduced to crumbly bits. The beans were tasty and unique. All around the tacos needed more punch more cilantro more freshness, pickled radish, something. The fried Angel food dessert was different and fun to share. This restaurant is located in the Davenport Hotel in downtown Spokane Washington where we had to stay due to having a surgery in Spokane. We have a 4 1/2 hour drive so I chose to stay here which is a very nice hotel. The night before surgery we chose to eat in this restaurant and the menu was simple but spectacular. I chose the street tacos which were 3 Small St. tacos with Carne Asada, onion, cilantro and sauce. These were probably some of the best I've had in an upscale restaurant like this. Mostly these kind of tacos are served in a Mexican restaurant so kudos to you for pulling these off so well. I'd even come to eat here even if I wasn't staying at this hotel it's a don't miss restaurant check it out. read more

Flavors were very odd. Nothing had an appetizing texture, just mush. No passion I'm pretty easy going but can't believe how bad this meal was. We ordered off of the restaurant week menu. Price range was $25-$50 ish but they delivered unique flavors that hit all the taste types and make a great well rounded meal. Good is mediocre especially for the price. Had browned butter salmon. Center was medium, but edges of fish was overcooked. Side greens was way overdressed and I had to ask for plain greens because it was soggy with dressing. Caesar salad was ok but again way overpriced. It could be because I was seated 45 mins before closing but service was not great and the server did not check on me frequently and it was nearly empty. They were not busy at all. Also the water is left at the table for you to pour yourself which I don't always mind because I hate waiting for water but then they seem to use it as an excuse not to check in. Let's start with the food. The queso wasn't edible nor functional. The chips were not sturdy enough to dip into the hard cheese. The ratio was off. We had to take a fork and twist 13 times to break free to add to a chip. The beans had the heat level of someone who takes Prilosec. The fish tacos were bland in flavor, odd cabbage scenario and the sauce was off. The ancho roasted chicken, the chicken was moist and good flavor but rice and beans were off. The margarita flights were not hand crafted. Lots of sugar. The place was dead and you would think we would have been checked on more but it was not Davenport quality. I booked a table for two people and upon arrival Andrew greeted us and left. He came back in about 5 min and began to look for our reservation. Then he said that my husband's name is too difficult to pronounce...and he gave us the worst table at the empty restaurant. It's been an hour science I'm sitting at my table waiting for our waitress to bring us another glass of wine and food. However, for some reason another group of people got their drinks ASAP. It's just me and my husband waiting for drinks and food. I had good hopes but Viktoriya didn't make that work. Never again. Restaurant is mostly empty. I'm giving one star become my scalps with risotto were previously frozen and just reheated in the microwave, I saw a line of still frozen oil at my plate and there was no rice, it was way overlooked and became a paste. It was way too salty and spicy, not good at all. My husband ordered salmon which was reheated in the microwave, rare inside and over dried at the edges because of the microwave. Another waitress was coming while we were waiting for our food and asked if we wanted a bill or anything else. Was it a joke? We said we are still waiting for food and she left. Viktoriya is still talking to other people at the table nearby and we sitting and waiting for her to check on us. The Jumbo Scallops were juicy and delicious! They were so good alone, that I barely used the sauce. I also really liked the Salad of Organic Market Greens topped with figs, goat cheese, pecans, and oranges. The salad portion was much larger than I was expecting! And their warm ciabatta bread was a wonderful bonus. I wouldn't order the Stir Fried Black Quinoa again. We had a great time here, truly. We took our 5 year old out because the Davenport always has the best decor for the holidays. Drove in, they let you valet for free if you spend at least $25 in the restaurant, just fyi! The Davenport itself is just so upscale that your mood is lifted immediately by the atmosphere. Table 13 is just as gorgeous as the rest of the hotel. We brought our five year old and one of the best parts about the seating is that it is spaced out enough that you are pretty far away from the next table so we didn't have to worry about disturbing date night. The drinks we tasty, expensive and fancy. I ordered the pear au with champagne and pear puree....bomb. We ordered the cheese pizza of the regular menu for our child and it was also super good. The food was even better. The small plate idea is just all the rage and I love it. It allows you to try all the things, which we did - and still have room for more. Bravo Table 13! Savory dishes, and of course the duck was delicious. The staff is incredible, but it is expensive to eat here. Just plan a special occasion and enjoy every minute of it. read more

Well... I should have went with my gut after reading the other reviews. We were a party of 9. I completely understand waiting on a large party but that doesn't change the quality of the food. Service was slow but I understand that also since it was New Year's Eve. The food was mediocre at best. A few in our group order the rib eye steaks at 62 bucks it was tough and grisly. One in our party never received her fries and asked for a discount on her meal. The waitress told her she would take a little off but not much since they accommodated our large party without a reservation. Hate to tell you we had a reservation and that's not what you say to a customer. She was super snotty. Yeah she's busy but I tell you everyone we had contact with at the hotel was very nice. We were all staying at the hotel. Also we aren't loud and demanding. So no we would not eat there again. I had the fettuccine with vodka sauce. You could tell it had been sitting out for awhile before I got it. Nothing special about it. If they hadn't added the tip automatically not sure how that would have went. Disappointed in the change to Mexican since we go there frequently before shows. that said, I did have the crab tacos and I have to say they were amazing. I probably overall would give the food a four out of five however had some problems with the service. The waiter that brought our desserts we asked a question of, and he retorted that he literally had no idea what the desserts were. It was his first day, and he didn't know what he was serving us? I had the most amazing Thanksgiving dinner here. My family had to work on Thanksgiving so a friend and I came here for dinner. It was my first time here. A beautiful setting and the staff is so amazing. They have an extensive wine selection. I always love visiting one of the Davenport locations and will definitely come back for dinner or drinks and appetizers. read more
