Another winning find thru my class pass. Finally got to check this studio out. Parking is fairly easily. Take note it's located in a corner street. As you enter the studio, you are greeted by sweet and personable staff. Even tho I'm not a member and I used classpass they took time to show me around the studio which I appreciated. Love the ambiance and the decor. I personally took Red 70 which was 100 degree temp but they really hovered around 94-98. It was a comfortable heat. The instructor was at times difficult to follow but gave us time to practice. She catered to all sorts of levels within the class. I enjoyed the flow and the challenge I love the high ceilings but wish there was mirrors all around in 360 as I appreciate visual feedback. Overall studio was prestine clean And chic! Really comfortable place to come and get your mind right and get some exercise. Gina V. Is the go to. She makes the class very entertaining and gives constant positive reinforcement (which I need lol...) she takes pride in every class she holds and makes it feel like i am in the only class she has all day. She structures the class around individual needs. She goes above and beyond the call of duty,in my opinion, and I could not ask for a better instructor. Purple Yoga has a great deal on Groupon, but the downside is that a ton of people took advantage of it and Purple decided they wouldn't turn anyone away, even if the class was full or people showed up late. It absolutely detracted from the experience for those of us who showed up timely. Also, the classes are advertised as hot or warm and on the duration of time they're for. Beware - the experience varies DRAMATICALLY by instructor. There should be some sort of guide around each instructor's interests, so you can align around a theme that works best for you. read more

Lot's of classes from early in the morning to late at night. The yogis (compared to other studios that I've been to) here are not very nice (pretentious). I like the vibes of some other studios that I've been to. Clean environment, restrooms, and yoga room(s). A teacher here gave me the wrong information that cost me (about $300). read more

I'd been considering membership to Purple, tried out a class Xmas Eve and they have an invasive policy to take your photo. I don't give out my identity easily especially when unnecessary and declined consent to be photographed but I did compromise by uploading my own photo and offered to show ID. None of that is acceptable to them, they must take your photo. I was told I could not come back, Merry Christmas and Namaste. Creepy for a yoga studio to be so hardline on this without offering options, makes me concerned they have my credit card information. How is everyone so amenable to giving up their identity to practice yoga here? I will practice down the street at Bikram Fullerton where it's cheaper. read more

Probably the best yoga studio around, I've gone to a few in the area and this one is my favorite. All of the teachers are very well experienced which makes the flows just right. Alex, Joe, Amanda, Lauren are some of my favorite instructors, great energy! Alex is truly a gem and offers detailed guidance during class. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my membership due to location and lack of parking and I truly miss it. I don't live super close and parking can get difficult during evenings and weekends. This place is amazing! My favorite teachers are Alex and Danny! The front staff is really nice and helpful. If you're a first timer, you can borrow a mat and a towel for a fee. I typically take the hot yoga classes and it's amazing!! All the instructors are great. If you want a bootcamp type of yoga, Sequanna is fantastic. If you're looking for a relaxing type of yoga, take Alex or Danny. They will give you a good workout but whenever I take these classes, I'm not panicking because I'm too slow or doing something wrong. The facilities are very clean and it's one of the reasons why I frequent this place. Only down fall: parking. It sucks. It's DTF. Come early and just wait for your class. I have been coming to this studio since 2015. Most of their instructors are experienced, but lately their newly graduated 200-hour teacher trainees have more classes on the schedule than seasoned instructors. Took off a star due to their lack follow through. 99.9% of the instructors don't start or end class at the scheduled time, which is frustrating if you are on a schedule - main reason I don't go to their morning classes before work. Tonight, 8:30 class started at 8:38 and the instructor still promoted seasonal classes that are going on. This was not a busy class and there was someone else at the front desk so no need to start class that late. Took off another star due to this being the only studio that allows people to walk in late. It's very distracting to have people walk in late especially when the class is crowded and space has to me made while in an asana. I practice at the studio 4-5 times a week. I don't want to hear about their workshops or/and retreats every single classes. Especially not after the instructors is walking in late or during a resting pose. The hot yoga classes have not been as hot for the past three weeks. Usually, I'm dripping in sweat and my clothes are soaked, but not lately. I'll continue my membership because there are enough awesome instructors and this studio offers the most classes compared to other studios in the area. read more

Being a member was a great experience mainly because the instructors show they care about your needs. There are times when classes are packed but overall they have plenty to choose and fit your schedule. Their workshops are great and good opportunity to expand your knowledge in your practice. Wow! Amazing doesn't even begin to describe the experience I just had here today. I have always wanted to get "into" yoga but tried it a few times years ago at another place and never felt great about it. I purchased the unlimited month that comes with a private and just finished my 30 minute private session. The instructor, Lauren, was BEYOND amazing in teaching me things to personally help me in yoga class in the future. I have had a few injuries over the last few years since I tried yoga last and suffer from vertigo. My main method of working out is Lagree but was told I should really try Yoga again. Not only did Lauren take her time to find out what I wanted from the session, she continually checked in throughout the session as well to see how I was doing. I have a small service dog in training and she took the time to even show me some exercises I could work on while utilizing my dog for pressure therapy. Lauren was extremely knowledgeable and attentive! I am really looking forward to taking class here this next month. I would recommend anyone who is apprehensive at all book their deal for the 1 month unlimited with a private to not only learn what you can but you will immediately feel right at home. read more

Went to Purple Yoga for the first time this morning for the 10am Red 70 class. As we checked in, we were greeted super warmly! I love that when trying a new studio, people are friendly!!! :-) Alex was our instructor, and we made our way into the room to put our mats down. The first thing I noticed was how incredibly humid it was in there! I am a hot yoga fanatic, but not a fan of sauna-like hot yoga. It gets really oppressive in there once you just start sweating like a pig. The class was A+ all the way, and Alex was incredible! Soothing voice, great guided instructions, and his music selection was on point- not upbeat and distracting like so many studios. Overall- I definitely want to come back, just need to prep more if all their hot classes are soooo humid. That was my only issue. Otherwise- loved the rest! read more

I never attended a single class and this studio then charged me $420!!! No matter what they say think twice before you give them your credit card. They won't refund a single dollar, they took my money with out providing me with a service. If this is how you want to make money, I think you need to take an honest look at yourself. I had a new credit card and this charge went on an old credit card and I missed the monthly charges for six months. I did not attend a single class. They have records that I did not attend a single class but they don't care. They offered class credits, but I have a back injury and can't attend yoga classes. Well-run studio that's clean and has top-notch instructors. The red and green classes in the heated room are a little more challenging than the blue classes in the regular room, but I love taking all of them. Cosette and Alex are my favorite instructors, they both have an easy-going vibe and give good corrections. I've been going for about five years, and it's a great workout and relaxation all in one. I've also gone while pregnant with both babies. They don't have prenatal yoga, but the blue classes aren't too strenuous and the instructors give good modifications if you let them know. I took off one star due to their online system and occasional lack of customer support. If you have a ten pack or a similar membership, and you decide to pay for a particular class separately (for example, the $10 and $12 classes are cheaper to pay for rather than use your 10-pack), you have to double check that it doesn't pull from your ten pack (and you essentially end up double-paying). This has happened to me multiple times. Most of the time if i catch it and bring it up, the staff will correct it. But on occasion I've received some attitude from the front desk if it's over the phone. Some instructors also start their classes late and end late, which is inconvenient if you are on a schedule. I'll continue my membership because the classes are awesome. Its a little annoying that I have to monitor my charges so closely, but hopefully they'll improve that process. read more

Purple Yoga is the only yoga studio I have ever known since I started practicing in November of last year. But I'll just say that the staff are nice and welcoming, the facilities are clean, the hot yoga room is actually hot, the bathrooms and more than just one single shower available. They have towels and mats you can rent along with fresh new merchandise for sale. The water is decently cold and the cubby holes are abundant. I started with instructor Alex on Wednesday's since his name is all over the reviews I'm glad I did. His classes are multi-level easy for beginners but challenging enough for seasoned yogis. He's very good at his transitions and his instructions are articulate. I love his classes, but they are really popular and have become too crowded for my preference. I have since moved to Mary's classes on Thursday. I found her when she was subbing for Alex(he was away at his retreats he teaches abroad). I love Mary's mantras she espouses during her class because it helps me to remember my breath and to be mindfully in the moment. Her classes tend to work a lot more on poses that people don't like to pose for too long which i find a good challenge. She sometimes uses blocks and yoga balls in her instructions and I love her creativity with them. I still go to Alex's class here and there, but Mary's is a cant miss. For a faster pace Elena has a more enthused flow. Asako has some very long poses if you're into that. Their prices are competitive with other studios as I've looked at other places to practice when I'm traveling. They have discount walk-in classes, Groupon specials and another location in Long Beach. I have the 4 for $50 plan and when I feel like during extra I jump on the $12 ones available or just pay the member price of $13. I know review is a bit biased as it's only based on one studio I have ever been to, but at least its factual AF. read more

This place came highly recommended by a few co-workers of mine, so I signed up for a 50-minute Yin class. I usually take a hot Yin class, so comparatively, I actually prefer the 75-minute hot class I took in Pasadena at a different studio. This was significantly shorter than what I'm used to and the cool environment really didn't help my body limber up like I'd prefer. Ace was the instructor for the class. Totally chill guy, very soft spoken, and good Yin instructor. He walked around regularly and helped adjust the class attendees. The great thing about this class was that is was a community class, which only cost $10. So the value is great! I will definitely come back to try their introductory offer of $29 for 2 weeks with unlimited access to all of the classes. And if you purchase before your introductory offer ends, the next month you save 20%! As for the facility, there's 2 studios. The smaller which is the regular room of about 78 degrees, which the Yin class was in. There was about 10 of us in the class, and probably could accommodate another 10. The hot room is much bigger and definitely will take a hot class next time. I prefer the heat more. Sweating as much as I do in a hot class, I feel so much better at the end of the class. There's multiple cubbies that fit a pair of shoes outside of both studios, along with a bench. The lobby area is full of merchandise, along with the check-in counter. For those that already made reservations for a class, you can find your name on the iPad to check in. Very convenient process, especially if there are customers talking to the front desk associate. Down the hall towards the locker rooms, they have a water fountain that also accommodates water bottles to be filled. The men's locker room was fairly small, with 16 lockers, a stall, a unrinal, and 2 showers. There's only 1 bench that's sits between 2 sets of 4 lockers. I prefer a bench that faces the lockers, but there really isn't the space to allow for that. The lockers have a push button lock, which allows you to customize the combo. The showers are equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. A roll of plastic bags sit on the sink counter top for your wet towel or clothes. There were a few gnats flying around in there as well, yikes! They kept bugging me too, get it bugging? I may have been spoiled at the bougie studio I go to. I was like, where's the hair dryer, how about cotton swabs, isn't there any lotion? Comparatively though, the price here is much cheaper, and I really didn't expect to have the luxary amenities in the locker room. Parking was a bit difficult. The 2 large parking lots close by were packed. I drove around both lots twice and couldn't find a spot. Keep in mind, this is in Downtown Fullerton on a Friday II evening. I fiinally decided to search street parking, which I actually found parking immediately. read more

I took the Blue 60 class which is a 60 minute class that go through the poses slower. Perfect class for beginners like me. I had Cosette, who was great! She had clear instructions, a soothing voice, & gave us options if it was too hard or not hard enough. I felt so relaxed after class. The studio is very clean, has lockers/showers in the restroom, & has ample cubby space inside the yoga room & outside. Bring your reusable water bottles because they have a water refill station. So convenient & eco-friendly, I love it! There's also a big FREE 3 hour parking lot next to the studio. I came on a Monday afternoon & was able to find parking easily but it's probably harder on weekday evenings or weekends. Can't wait to come back! read more

This yoga studio is well equipped with kids classes, showers, yoga retail, and clean expansive studios. I took a hot yoga class which was blissful. I felt the strain and exertion, with sweat pouring down, but without harm to my already sore muscles from a week of working out without rest. Walking out, I felt like I just had the best massage of my life. I was floating on air and felt so healthy. I would not ONLY do yoga. You rarely see "fit" people who only do yoga. Loved my experience here. I was running late and jumped into a 5 o'clock Blue class with Angie Su. Luckily she was on the phone with a client so I wasn't too late when I got in. Angie's class was great and this one in particular focused on the spine and elongating it and stretching it out. I loved that it was challenging but gave us more time to really find the poses and make sure we were accessing the right parts of our bodies to get the maximum effect. Afterwards I used the shower facilities and was amazed at how big and clean the showers were and could tell the water was definitely filtered and not hard. Also, the lockers have a lock on them so no need to bring a lock from home, just a 4 digit code to program and remember. Parking at this studio was easy to find both on the street and in the lot next door. I LOVE this location and would stop by more often if I can. read more

Like many people who are part of the Purple Yoga community I have the auto-pay monthly plan which goes from $125 for just yoga that gives you access to Long Beach, Fullerton, and Tustin studios. The Fullerton Studio has both a moon room (room temperature) and sun room (hot temperature). Blue is a room temperature yoga and Red is a hot yoga. I take the classes with a few teachers. Alex and Allison are very technical meaning that they will focus on specific postures and your muscle alignment. Monica is a trained yoga therapist and her classes are very healing. Randee offers a very supportive restorative class. If you are interested in trying out classes here I would recommend getting the $29 two week trial. During this try a variety of teachers, classes and locations. Yoga at a studio is very different from a 24 hour fitness. I highly recommend this place and get started today. Yoga is for everyone and all body types. The yoga instructors can assist if you have injuries or special limitations. read more

Amanda was great and the class was totally adaptable for me as a beginner. I think there were five other people in the class and we were well spaced out. I've been to only corepower yoga and purple yoga ... and I have to say purple yoga far exceeds corepower . Corepower is so expensive & not as Intimate as purple yoga . My favorite classes are Red classes (100 degrees) community classes, which are classes discounted to 10$ a class at times that aren't in high demand. A regular class is usually 20$. 3$ rental for a mat and towel. The staff and yoga teachers are all so amazing and friendly. My favorite instructors are SEAN (a great workout with his own style using inversions and feeling extra spiritual after each class) NIKKI (super calming and sweet) and ALEX (a little happy puppy, so patient when teaching a class) Place is very clean and has a few showers. 10/10 recommend. read more

I love this studio. All the instructors here are great! This studio has both hot yoga (indicated by the colors red and green when you sign up online or look at the class schedule) and non-hot yoga (indicated as blue). Since we are talking about what the colors stand for, the purple class is the advanced class but if that is the only time you are able to attend, the instructors are great about modifying the different positions for you. I also love how they have automatic locker codes (you do not need to bring your own lock). Parking: It really depends what time you are taking the class but there could either be a lot of parking or parking could be difficult. Also, the intro package is $29 for 2 weeks! Decided to bring my 5 y/o....which kind of defeats the reasons that I usually go to yoga. The staff was super helpful and inviting and allowed her to attend the gentle flow class with grownups. She did amazing and stayed quiet the entire time and nailed warrior II like a champ. I got a 3 month membership and can't wait to try out the other classes that are offered solo. First time doing hot yoga and I LOVE it. It is the perfect thing to do after a stressful/busy day at work. They have a discount for teachers, military, and veterans so definitely look into it if it applies to you! I have been doing yoga for a while now and have been wanting to try our hot yoga. I don't know what it is, but the heat in addition to the serene environment really put you in a state of relaxation that is difficult to reproduce at home. They have a couple different packages you can choose from. Something I struggle with when signing up for memberships is the time commitment. Most places have monthly rates that require a lot of dedication and time. The thought of working out a lot sounds good, but isn't always doable. I love that Purple Yoga has a package for going once a week... a commitment I can definitely keep with my hectic schedule! The staff at this location have all been friendly. They have merchants sell oils and other organic goodies at times. The only downside to this place is that it can be difficult getting parking at times. read more

LOVE THIS STUDIO! I feel like the class schedule was created with work schedules in mind. There is always a class available. That said, classes are smaller so you get attention and critique from instructors without feeling like you're the only one in class. The instructors keep with the foundations of yoga to prevent injuries and help you build to a stronger practice. Plenty of storage for personals within the studio, parking is never an issue.
