This place is SO CUTE. The interior is decorated very tastefully and the vibes are adorable. We were here on a Friday morning for coffee and there was one or two other customers here. The maple latte I got was delicious and the barista even made latte art of a cat on it. So cute. Next time I'm in Vermont, I'd love to come back and do a wine tasting.

Really aesthetic cafe / wine bar. We went there to do some work in the late morning and tried the cucumber soda and beet lemon kombucha. The cucumber soda was pretty refreshing! Really enjoyed the decor and there weren't many people when we were there so the drinks came out pretty fast

I love this place. They really are the best addition to WRJ. From breakfast to dinner, they gave the drinks and snacks to keep you satisfied. I love the wine and the atmosphere here. The entire space is filled with light and beautiful plants. The service is always pleasant and prompt. I continue to come here again and again. I highly recommend visiting when in the Upper Valley.,

Amazing atmosphere, great and creative food options and the helpful staff recommended a wine pairing that was fantastic. Went back the next week for coffee, also delicious!

Baskets of Montessori-style toys for kiddos, stunning vibe, the friendliest staff, and delish bevs! I've come for evening wine with the girls and I've also come for a quiet work sesh. The morning coffee was served with the cutest little cream cup and crystallized sugar stick! The sparkling wine flights are my fav. At Putnam's, the experience is in all the tiny, finishing touches. You feel valued and like every dollar is worth spent.

So cute! We came here for drinks and apps one evening and had great cheese and wine. We returned the next morning to grab coffee and breakfast. The staff is so nice. The pricing is right. The aesthetic is so so cute!

Putnam offers a great cozy, modern ambiance to enjoy light fare & drinks. There was plenty of seating inside and the noise level wasn't too bad despite it being filled with different parties of guests. They also offered baked goods from a local vendor on the side which was a nice way to grab some quick snacks while supporting local businesses. A lovely spot for a night out!

We (three adults) went to Brix on a whim after the Vermont State Fair. We did a quick Google search…read moreof restaurants in the area and the menu looked good. We left so glad that we picked it! The restaurant is small with a limited number of high tops inside, a bar, and a few tables outside. The decorations and vibes are adorable. We were impressed from start to finish. Peter, our waiter, was friendly and chatty (without being too chatty), which we really appreciated, and he definitely nailed small-town Vermont charm. One of us ordered the Salty Chihuahua drink. It was tasty and very well priced. One of us started with a small green salad which was loaded with olives and feta- yum!! There was not a single bite of food that wasn't delicious. It blew us away. We ordered three entrees: chicken sliders, grande salad, and a special: the summer squash skillet, which we added meatballs to. We will be talking about and figuring out what was in those meatballs for years to come. The dishes were on the smaller side, but the prices reflect the amazing quality of the food. We are three New Yorkers with lots of opinions and high standards when it comes to what we eat. Brix exceeded those standards. We have a ski condo on Stratton and don't often make the drive into Rutland, but any time we do, it's guaranteed we will be eating at Brix.

Super easy to make a group reservation on Open Table! The wait staff was great and helpful in deciding what we wanted for our meal. We really enjoyed the Roasted Caesar and the Short rib. I'm so sad to have to write a negative review of Simon Pearce (although there are plenty of them…read moreout there). It was our first time there, celebrating our son's 21st birthday. Not sure what happened between the kitchen and our server, but 2 of 3 main courses came out cool. One was my crab-stuffed sole and the other was our son's $85 filet mignon. We had to let the server know. She brought over the manager who said they would "reheat" our dishes. I questioned him, um, "reheat" not remake? He said he could redo them but the steak will take 25 minutes (son's father had already dug into his duck by this point). Manager said if we try reheating it and it's not to our liking he'd take the steak (no mention of the sole) off the bill. We said fine, let's try reheating so as to resume eating asap. Of course the steak was no longer medium-rare and my fish was pretty awful. The most annoying thing is that he/manager NEVER acknowledged my meal being cold and removing it from the bill. Only my son's steak. Why? I don't know. In general, I think the food here is overpriced and very underwhelming. Now I know and I don't need to go back.Food did not have the flavors outlined in the descriptions. Our Waitress was very good though (not her fault the food was not to par for the price). The bread and whipped butter was excellent
