First time eating here yesterday. My in-laws are vegetarians and I'm not so I wasn't sure what to expect. We had fried mushrooms and cauliflower for apps - they were good but a bit greasy. I ordered the tacos which were the bomb - extremely fresh, the "chicken" was tasty and better than real chicken. Was not a fan of the queso sauce as it resembled cheese whiz in taste and texture. In laws got the portobello mushroom burger and "regular" burger with soy based "beef" patty. They enjoyed everything and will definitely be back. Finally made it here after reading about it in a magazine this summer. 4 of us came to dine in but only 1 of us is vegan. We all had FANTASTIC meals after starting with the sloppy nachos appetizer - which was delicious! The menu is extensive and the wait staff was helpful and knowledgeable about what to recommend. I came maybe a week ago and then a few days later (on my birthday). It's a 45 min drive but it's worth it. They have SOO many options for vegans. Wow! I feel shocked and bamboozled. I can't believe EVERYTHING is vegan. The cheese was so creamy and delicious. The texture of the bacon and pepperoni was realistic. I was fooled by the first 3 courses until I visualized my chicken wing had a stick instead of a bone. Everything was delicious. The owners were super nice. The space is great. The decor great. Wow! Eating here was such an"enlightening"experience! This place has tons of options and was very friendly about discussing the menu options. As a non vegan, this place had a lot of options that would appeal to many. This place was all about the food, and definitely not trying to shove a life style down your throat, just flavor fresh cuisine! I just tried this place last night. I was curious because they aren't a lot of or any vegan restaurants in my area. I have to say it was pretty good. Now not everything we had was a home run, but there were some items that were winners. All in all I would definitely would come back to try again. Winners: - Vegan fried wings- So good I was surprised they taste like chicken. - Gyro- packed full of flavor and delicious. Just wish they had Tzatziki sauce on the side. - Fried Mushrooms- great flavor. Non-Winners: - Pizza- ugh I was hoping this would be good but it was a tad disappointed. The flavor reminded me of Pizza Hut. The dough was doughy and there was too much sauce it made the pizza soggy. I really hope they can tweak the recipe on this one. I want to try again. -Saffron Rice Pudding- Whoa! This was way too sweet. This dish needs a fat to cut the sweetness. Please experiment and add some kind of cream. read more

I'm in love with this place! Ridiculous. Every item on the menu is vegan. Not only is it healthy but also delicious! The only downside is it's a bit expensive. Other than that, I love the food! We tried Pythagoras for the first time on Saturday night. I'm not sure I know which one I liked more the food or the people. Both were wonderful. I couldn't believe how many options they had for vegan food. It was the longest menu I have seen at a vegan restaurant. We got the queso, wings, pepperoni pizza, chicken gyro, and a kabab. Found a new vegan place in the Sugar Land area and after a little bit of research, pulled the trigger. Lunch with my carnivore, wing loving son on a rainy Saturday afternoon. First impression from my son was "is this a Greek place". No. What's with the aliens? No idea. Dreary cold drizzly day, we walked in to a clean restaurant with another table of 6 or so and were seated. Soft opening menu listed wings, charcuterie board for apps, pizza, sandwiches, soup and a variety of desserts. And a full bar. We got wings. I have never eaten wings and don't remember what chicken tastes like but my son was stunned. The "bone" was sugar cane. The sauces were wonderful. He devoured them: we got 2 sandwiches - chicken parmigiana and carbonara with a cup of soup. The sandwiches were small but rich and the soup was spectacular. The server said they were adding Brazilian kabobs next week. The alien stuff threw me as did the Greek lettering. But the premise of the restaurant is this quote: "As long as Man continues to be the ruthless destroyer of lower living beings, he will never know health or peace. For as long as men massacre animals, they will kill each other. Indeed, he who sows the seed of murder and pain cannot reap joy and love." Pythagoras. Which explains the Greek influence but still not sure about the aliens. Regardless, this place was so good, the food so tasty and filling with attention to everybody detail, you have to try it. If you're vegan, add this to your list. If you're not, add it to a list of places that will change you mind about a plant based diets. I will be a regular at this wonderful establishment. read more

A new place for vegan foodies! The restaurant is right off of 59 frontage ( for some reason our GPS didn't not send us to the right place!) The vibe is very casual and they have a full bar inside as well. Right now they offer pizza, wings and mediterranean food- but I am sure it will expand in the future. One of the things I loved about the place was that everything on the menu was vegan. We ordered wings, a personal pizza and the kabobs. the cheese on the pizza was actually better than I expected! we got the wings baked- they were good- but I bet they would be better fried! The kabob was great- tasty had the right texture and visually indistinguishable from the real thing. Oh - we also got the cheesecake baklava and it was very tasty! Service was prompt but not intrusive. We are not vegan - i love my cheese too much!! but this place is a great place we would visit again. Also- the food is a little more pricey than the equivalent meat version, but plant based food can be as a rule. And if you are vegan or have a dairy/gluten allergy this is the place for your comfort food! read more

Ordered the kabob koobideh and eggplant dip. Texture and overall taste of both dishes excellent. I was impressed with the texture of the kabob similar to meat. My only negative comment is both dishes lacked the flavor I'm used compared to those traditional dishes. Lots of butter is used in the traditional dishes to give it that signature flavor but this is vegan so I understand. Maybe add more spices in the rice and maybe a bit more salt/pepper/spices in the eggplant dip would elevate the flavor. Still. This is an excellent vegan restaurant overall. read more

I was really excited to get vegan pizza, since moving to Houston it's been hard to find. This place was disappointing. Flavor-wise I'd give it a 6/10, but $21 (annoying vegan was the name of that one) for a personal size pizza is pretty abominable. Then, we ordered picky vegan which was gluten free. This one tasted like they took a daiya crust and added toppings (that one is a 1/10). I am always hopeful when new vegan places pop up, and I do my best to support these establishments but I probably won't go back here unless I am desperate. read more

The food here is amazing and the atmosphere is a great vibe. As a vegan I loved the options, many of which go beyond the normal vegan food eatery. I have done to go from here a bunch and love the kabobs and the cherry rice. The wings are great as well and are the only place near me that serve the good wings. The kabob burger is so much better than the standard impossible burger. Then we went with the desert pizza with the s'more flavor and it was better than I was imagining. I would've given five stars but the service was subpar. I came on a Thursday and my waitress Megan was great but the other waitress was quite rude. I asked for ranch she never brought it. She overlooked my pizza sitting in the window while Megan was obviously busy and let my pizza sit for awhile and I asked her for a margarita and she stated, they were out of Margarita mix and said I'd be waiting awhile. As a vegan, I was delighted to see this restaurant open in Sugarland. Our first visit was in person, and had a delightful lunch. A week later, I ordered a pick-up dinner and was very disappointed. For the Shish Kabob, we received a bowl of rice and 2 Sausages surrounded by tomatoes and onions.. when we called to speak to the manager, we waited 30 minutes, and finally a kid acting like the manager dismissed our complaints, never to call back with a resolution or apology for the customer complaint. I was told about this place through my co worker who told me this place had the best vegan pizza in town, which I was a bit skeptical because I'm very picky when I comes to dairy free cheese, but when he gave me their business card with an alien on it I just knew I had to take my husband who's a very cosmic person (and also vegan) we decided to go on our date night and right when we walked in, the atmosphere was out of this world the martinis and the bacon wrapped wings were so good! Our waitress Abby was the sweetest and very kind. The vegan pizzas we got were honestly the best vegan pizza I've had. One of the owners, Jamie, even sat down and chatted with us. She was amazing, the coolest and so down to earth (it was a pleasure meeting you and hope to meet your husband soon, if you're reading this)!
