Additionally, I was asked to sign a blank form with the promise that the description would be "filled in later" - this raised serious concerns about documentation practices. I left feeling taken advantage of during a difficult time. I strongly recommend getting multiple appraisals before selling jewelry here. We have been taking our repairs to them for a very long time, and other than charging to high on clasp repair on another chain we had not experienced any notable issues. After last week we will NEVER bring our items to them again. I never do this , but I'm hoping this will help others from being taken advantage of and really just robbed. The week of valentines I broke my chain that I've had for 20 yrs, and I was really upset for sentimental reasons it is a way for me to honor my mom who passed over 20 years ago now. My husband being the man that he is immediately took it to Moises for repair. I knew it would be a simple fix as it had only been a clean break at one of the links. My husband picked it up on Valentine's Day and brought it home. I was so happy I immediately put the charms for my mother back on it , so I could put it back where it belongs close to my heart. As I was putting it back on I noticed something wasn't right. I looked in the mirror and was heartbroken and VERY angry. My 20" 14kt.gold necklace is now a 16" choker. I cried and went straight to my husband to show him what had been done, of course he said I don't think he would do that to us. He knows us I consider him a friend. So I pulled out previous photos of me wearing the same necklace and he was shocked. He offered to go to the shop and speak to him, but I said no I will go myself. So I did and showed him the same picture I am posting now. Hie first tried to say that sometimes pieces go missing when a chain breaks, but I stopped him and said that is NOT what happened, it was clean break at the link no pieces went missing. He offered to add some inches back to the chain, but I wasn't going to leave him with my 14kt chain and come back to find he added junk gold to make it right I told him NO, I no longer trust you, he said sorry but when I turned back and looked him in his eyes we both knew.. I told him he wasn't sorry he made a profit. I'm sharing this so no one else go through this. We never go to his shop again. And if you do go for a repair take pictures of what your item looked like and measure it in front of him. Have him sign off on the condition it's in and then verify when you pick it up that it matches. A few links shorter can be explained but not 4". I really hope this helps someone else. Ok so my precious watch of nearly 30 yrs dropped and the pin came out, we tried all we could do at home, remembering I had gone to a local shop for a battery before, I went back. I walked in and held out my watch hoping he would have a solution. He took my watch and pin, he examined the issue and immediately went to the repair fix. Honestly, my husband raved about this place so much. My necklace broke and I trusted my husband to take my necklace to this guy he always spoke highly of. I got my necklaces back FINALLY and the work is HORRIBLE to say the least. ROPE CHAINS VERY OBVIOUS, welded back together and my smaller chain has like glue on it AND where they were WELDED back together, the gold is now a different color. I am very lenient when it comes to someone's skill because if I could've done it myself I would have but since I couldn't, that's why you hire people. I would rate this place an absolute zero if that were possible. However, here is my experience: On 08/02/2017, I was looking to purchase a 14K yellow gold diamond cut rope chain, 14K yellow gold Cuban bracelet, and get a band for my yellow gold Rolex and have it serviced as it had been losing time. I narrowed my search to two jewelers, Marc Robinson at Round Rock Premium Outlet and Z&M Jewelers after seeing the ratings on YELP. Due to the Texas heat I dressed light. I wore long knee length gym shorts, dri-fit shirt, sneakers and a ball cap turned backwards. I went to Marc Robinson at Round Rock Outlet first. I received exceptional service at Marc Robinson. I went to Z&M to compare merchandise and pricing before making a final purchase of this magnitude. Upon entering Z & M Jeweler's the immediate tension and frowning stares began. The owner stopped waiting on the customer upon whom he had just placed a diamond studded bracelet. I told him I would wait for him to finish with the other customer and he stated what do you need. I told him the list of items of which I was interested. I showed him my Rolex, and he looked at the watch and then just stared at me, and looked at the watch again and then back at me; as if to suggest what are you doing with this type of watch. He then rudely stated, "I do not work on these watches." However, what he did not know was the jeweler from Marc Robinson had just told me that this jeweler at Z & M Jewelers works on their Rolex watches all the time. Moving on, I then asked about a band for my Rolex and he pulled out a plastic box of cheap plated watchbands, of which none would be suitable for a Rolex watch. I then asked to see his collection of 14k gold diamond cut rope chains. He simply just pointed to a lock box hanging on the wall behind the counter to which I nor any customer had access to. He never offered to show me any of the chains. At this point, I left the store without saying a word. I thought this best, as I was very upset and frustrated by the offensive behavior of the owner. After leaving, and a few minutes to calm down, I called the store. I then learned I had been dealing with the store owner the entire time. I calmly explained to the owner how, his behavior made me feel. He offered no apology or other explanation for his behavior. I then informed him I would write a review about the customer service because no one deserves to be treated in that manner. The store owner said, "I don't care what you do." Today, was a stark reminder to me that no matter how hard I work to be a good law abiding and descent human being, there are just some people like this store owner with stereotypical attitudes of hatred that will never see me for who I am. I pray for this store owner, that God will do what no one else can do. I pray for this owner, as I pray for myself. I pray that Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will touch this store owner's heart. I pray that with a changed heart like Christ that he can then see all people as Christ sees people. I pray that God will forgive him for his offensive behavior and attitude, as I have forgiven him. I pray that God give me release from this as well. Just for the record, while I did forgive the owner of Z & M Jewelers. I went back to Marc Robinson Jeweler's and purchased items from the jewelry store with the best customer service. read more

CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP The service...... not my husband who bought me the diamond engagement ring he gave me 13 years ago when we where POOR....I love the Cheap...I mean ring. Really! But, unfortunately the 2 dollar diamond fell out like a filling in your tooth from 1920. OK..so it fell out I went to Z&M because I looked in the phone book and wanted some place I could go that was close to home...so Z&M it was. So I went home ...got the ring and a diamond tennis bracelet the Cheap...I mean very generous husband bought me and headed over to Z&M. I walked in and the owner greeted me and said ":Sure I can fix that..replace diamond and fix bracelet clasp". How much will it cost I said....He said around $80.00. I think ...WOW,CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. ..... The repair cost NOT THE HUSBAND! So I leave (they have while you wait service but I was on lunch from work) and go back to work and return at 5:30 to get my "Child's Inheritance". It was ready and all sparkling...with a new diamond. Bracelet had a new clasp and it cost me 80 bucks...CHEAP right? So next day I proudly put my diamond tennis bracelet on and I am now married again cause I have my engagement ring with my wedding band wrapped around it....on a side note my husband was out of town but noticed before he left I had taken my ring off and the thought I was DONE with him.....no honey I am not done with you...You buy so much good jewelry why would I get rid of you? OK back to tennis bracelet .......next day...I get to work and I am just so distracted by the sparkle on my wrist......practically blinding me......this guy can clean jewelry...then all of a sudden the sparkle is gone from my eye. Why you ask? Because there is now all of a sudden a diamond missing from my bracelet. Ring missing diamond + diamond bracelet needing new clasp= Jeweler stealing diamond from bracelet and putting in ring. I was PISSED!!!!! I call up and the wife answer and I say, "Can you break down that 80.00 bucks" (my plan was to catch them) She says for clasp and repair of ring. I then say, "Did that include the diamond you replaced"? She says, "yes, that is included in the price. I said AH HUH...you didn't give me a new diamond you took it from my bracelet. She said, OH NO we wouldn't do that". Please come in and we can discuss. I was MAD...It took me 3 days to get back over there cause ya know.....my sensibility was being put on trial "Why did I leave it there" Why didn't I wait till it was done. WHY WHY WHY. My child's future destroyed.(this is her inheritance) So I get there and the husband is there...the "M" from "Z & M". He says, "My wife told me you called and I would never do that"! So I am thinking then where is it....................................Well he showed me....when he was making my bracelet all sparkly it fell into his wash thingy. He found my diamond...he showed me it...with a magnifying glass. He tried to put it back in but it was cracked so he put a new diamond in....He wouldn't let me pay for it either...I feel like a SCHMUCK! But I highly recommend this place and I will also be bringing back more jewelry...........because....I am still married to the man that gave me the ring and bracelet that started this whole fiasco. read more

Wow. Really great. Brought in three watches for batteries and resizing (taking off links). The work was done in one day and they were courteous enough to call and let me know I was able to pick up at my convenience. The cost of two battery replacements and two resizings came to 23.00!! I don't get watch batteries replaced, or bands resized, often enough too know what the prevailing rate is for such service, but $23.00 sure seems like a bargain to me. Both watches fir perfectly. The customer service is amazing here. The young woman behind the counter was polite, accommodating, and genuinely nice. The watches were given back to me wrapped in plastic, tagged, and individually bagged. They even had the recently removed links in a little bag. I will be coming back again.
