Q Marqet is a deli/convenient store very near places I frequently visit. I took photos years ago. It's been a while since I stopped in for a grilled cheese sandwich. I stopped in today to see if they still had the buffet. They still accept cash only. They don't offer the buffet anymore. They have the salads and hot food up front by the deli. You tell them what you want and they put it in the container for you. It's all for health safety. Everyone was masked that I could see. There's a lot of customers in and out which made it difficult for me to take more photos. The food was definitely fresh and looks delicious as always. I'll be back now that I know how they're operating. I just need a place to sit down to eat. I've never had any problems with customer service for my basic purchases. The cashier was very nice today. It's great place to grab something to eat and sit in the outdoor public space near Mt. Sinai Hospital, weather permitting. I'm recommending if you are in the neighborhood and want a deli. I'm glad it survived. Many of the other businesses I used to frequent nearby are permanently closed now.

Don't sleep on Q marqet as a solid lunch option if you're working in the area. $9 for 12 pan fried pork/chive dumplings and miso soup is a steal on the UES. The owners are Korean and there are some great ready made options like bibimbap and gimbap as well as Korean snacks and ramen available. They also have traditional deli stuff like sandwiches

This place is pretty awesome. Its a food convenience market on steroids. Today I was on the run, so I grabbed a large hazelnut coffee and a buttered roll for $3.25. In NYC you cannot beat that price. They also have all sorts of breakfast sandwiches to order. Sushi and hot bar are located at the back of the store. The guys behind the deli counter are light in fast and have great smiles. Dont forget the tip jar located on thw top of the deli area. I have stopped here alot just to grab a Snapple and the ladies working the register are always friendly and smiling. You really feel like they are glad to see you. Although there are alot of fabulous food carts in the area, this place has such a great selection it certainly gives the food carts a run for their money. Value for what you order is excellent considering its location in the city.

Egg white omlette platter w/ tomato, spinach, onion and jalepeno. Huge portions!

When we got there, although there was a line, it looked like it was moving fairly quick! Still, our order was ready for us at the pick-up station so we walked in and found a corner spot. It's pretty snug inside, and although there are a few tables and some standing areas, most people got their food and left. There are also some tables outside if you're lucky to snag one! - FOOD - Salmon on Everything Bagel: Nicely toasted bagel, yet still has a nice chew on the inside. Huge portion of Salmon! I wish I could've tried a flavored cream cheese, but didn't want too many flavors mixing at once. Vanilla Iced Latte: Just OK coffee - nothing to write home about but it was a solid cup of caffeine. - OVERALL - Definitely a great way to start your day in NYC!

I'm so glad Broad Nosh Bagels & Deli popped up in my search, as it was exactly what I was looking to enjoy. A couple of us trekked the few blocks to find the storefront. Inside it was PACKED, and several groups and lines snaked around the dividers. But the line moved quickly between customers picking up to-go meals and placing orders at the counters. The display cases are beautiful and feature so many different kinds of cream cheese. (Who knew you could make a whole vat of Biscoff?) They also had many types of smoked fish and toppings for customers filing through. Once you order food, you take your ticket to the register where you can add any drinks. This also went fairly quickly. Food and drink order numbers were called out and checked with the receipts, although they called out a set of orders for several minutes and no one came to pick them up. There are a few tables there, but since customers wait to grab drinks and food near the front, the couple tables at the front were basically for crowd control. I definitely wouldn't try to eat there unless I happened to be going at a quieter time. I got the bagel with smoked salmon, and it was exactly what I had been craving. Their bagels are a quarter pound each, so you might even get two meals out of it if you have a fridge for storage. But even as good as the bagel was, the hot chai latte with oat milk was the star for me. It was so incredibly layered for flavor and fragrant, just lightly sweet. I would go out of my way on a trip to NYC just to get one of these for breakfast! We all really enjoyed our food, and I will definitely return.

We also tried a sausage, egg and cheese on a bagel, but the sandwich it self was missing some flavor- the sausage and cheese were very bland. We ducked here to grab some nourishment before I became to hangry. Ordering takes place at the counter then grab a table. I had a 1/2 bowl of their "famous chicken soup" and 1/2 pastrami sandwich. Had good flavor and was enough to warm me up on this brisk morning. My niece did a bagel, and after trying all week she finally got one exactly how she wanted it made. We ate and chilled for a bit, no plans for the day other than making it to the airport to go home. Was able to people watch and catch up without feeling rushed to leave. Saw locals come through, so you know it is a place worth stopping. The staff were nice and even apologized for not being able to give me the soup I wanted in a half order. Though things can often get overlooked and passed by in the hustle and bustle of the city...stop in and relax while you grab a bite to eat.

Date of visit: April 14, 2026…read more Our friend wanted to go to a real New York deli during her first trip to the city and this is the one in the vicinity of Times Square and our evening show that was the highest rated according to my fellow Yelpers, but I am not quite sure why based on our experience. Things did start out great, with Boudjema being very friendly and helpful as we placed our order. And once we got seated, we were able to fully appreciate the vibe, both in the primarily 70s playlist, but also the mirror and brass touches across the restaurant. Food-wise, however, there were some definite opportunities. My Roasted Turkey sandwich did come on quite possibly the best rye bread I have ever had, warm and flavorful. But while the gravy was also good, the turkey was cold. This odd temperature mismatch made it hard to appreciate the generous portion of meat on the sandwich. We also ordered some tater tots and those were quite good. While it definitely could have been worse--and I've had worse in New York City--this also could have been so much better.
