They used to be good. The technicians talk trash about customer amongst each other, the quality is no longer good, but the prices have changed. They overcharged me last night and they never offer me anything to drink, while others were asked. But the worst is, the regular mani never last longer than two days and pedi maybe a week!! My daughter's mani came off only a few hours later and my toe chipped the same night with no activity at all, just laying on my couch. I don't like feeling treated like crap and pay someone for it. I have been to this place a few times and I'm always happy when I leave. They have an abundance of colors to choose from: regular polish, gel, and SND dip powder. Minh is the best and I've lucked out and had her for my SNS and she's been amazing and is consistent. I'll definitely be back. I was recommended this place from my hair stylist. I could make my nail appt that I had scheduled with my regular nail technician. So I took the recommendation and drove right down the street from my hair salon and that was the best decision I ever made. I had a regular pedicure which was out of this world. I had recently done a foot peel and the dead skin what was left was coming off and the nail technician was able to gently massage and scrub it off during the pedicure. I had a gel fill which was great! She took her time and it really showed in the end result. The price was CHEAPER than expected and I plan to be back again. The color choices were plentiful. The salon was clean and quiet--I left very relaxed. Starbucks is less than a one min walk which is a plus. If I could give this salon 0 stars I would. I had a 1pm appointment today, and had the worst experience. It began with the technician arguing with me that the only way she would do my sns with tips was if I bought the add on cuticle treatment. Finally, I gave up on arguing and agreed. She proceeded to cut my pinkie finger so badly, it bled the rest of the day. When applying the tips, she glued her own finger to my nail, and had to soak that nail in polish remover. The tip was starting to break down after soaking, and she only replaced it after I asked multiple times. My bloody pinkie was then dipped into the SNS powder, with no regard to sanitation. She painted over the blood, and now the finished nail has blood stains. When filing the tip on my thumb, she filed it completely diagonally. When I asked her to fix it, she argued it is because my nail bed is DIAGONAL. I have gotten my nails done for years, and this has never been a problem. Another person had to come over to file it down correctly. I was made to feel like I was overreacting by the staff, when I simply asked to fix the nail. I was charged full price. read more

LOVE this nail salon! I come every 2 weeks for gel manicures and pedicures. They also waxed my eyebrows better than Benefit Brow Bar for 1/3 of the price. Prices are very reasonable and the employees remember who you are and do a phenomenal job. They stay busy but are always accommodating, I've never had to wait for more than 5-10 minutes! We can start with the fact that I had an appointment and wasn't seen until 30 min after that appointment. Then, the pedicure water was freezing cold. The technician I had kept complaining about how she was still at work and wanted to leave. She was not very personable at all and seemed to be angry when I said I was doing the deluxe pedicure. She then proceeded to cut my nails into an odd shape, which will ultimately result in giving me ingrown nails. I should also add that the shape of all my nails were not the same, which makes my feet now look so weird. My polish chipping off as soon as I got home was the last straw for me, as I didn't see her apply the top coat because she made me uncomfortable during the appointment so much so that I didn't even watch what she was doing. If you're white , you'll get royal treatment. Today I just got a basic pedicure and gel manicure . It was really weird that they now soak your feet in water only. After 25 minutes nails were soaked and I was left for them to go do a pedicure for people that came after me. I sat for 25 minutes then took the foils off and washed my hands because the top of my hands were very irritated. This was my first time here for a gel manicure and regular polish pedicure. I walked into the small space around 12pm on Sunday and it was packed! I didn't have an appointment but they still got me in right away. I picked out my polish and headed to the pedicure station. Everything was going well til the last helping me disappeared and my pedicure bowl overflowed. The other employees didn't really seem to care. It was another customer to let me know the water was running towards a bunch of electrical plugs behind my seat. I jumped off quickly in time for a man to start mopping up the water with towels. After 5 minutes, they asked me to sit back down. In the same chair. Everyone went back to working as if nothing happened. I was the transferred to the bar area for my gel manicure. The area was uncomfortable and crowded. The polish didn't come out the same color as the sample. It's waaaay more pink then I normally like. I probably won't be going back to this place. read more

This place is ridiculous. Everything felt rushed. I received a full set and pedicure from Mia and I felt that she had better things to do with her time. She did an exfoliate on one leg but not the other, she didn't use a puma stone to get dead skin off what so ever. She didn't cut my nails, nothing. It doesn't even look like I got a pedicure. As for my nails, they're uneven, the sides are un painted, and she didn't get the acrylic off of my skin therefore the nail adhered to my finger. The nails that I got were pretty nice. This review is mostly about the blatant racism though. Twice they asked me to come back another day, "because they had such a long wait." The second time I stayed because I got there 30 minutes after they opened, there's no way they had enough business to last them the whole day, so I called their bluff. They originally said it would be a 90 minute wait because I wanted gel and "they only have two people who do gel". Really? At a nail salon...what did they study at cosmetology school? Also...weird that there was about 6 gel UV lamps I saw for only 2 people "qualified" to do gel, huh? I got in about 25-30 minutes later. I guess that stands for nail salons too. Q Nails has that kind of dismal, 90s strip mall vibe inside. Dated stock photos lined up on otherwise unpainted walls, basic cable flickering in and out on the overhead television, no music, loud, rows of clearly overworked technicians. Bummer. I'm the kind of girl who can get past all that, but when I was called over (okay, hollered at) to sit at a table, I noticed the kind of worn, not-so-sparkling appearance of the entire place. I told myself it was okay - just a fill in, right? And so it seemed. Until the next night when three of my nails broke - yes, THREE. What was I doing to damage a fresh fill in so swiftly? Clapping. At an all ages concert. I'd hate to see the state my claws would've been in if I was actually rowdy. When I finally went to one of my regular salons, the technician actually asked where I'd gotten it done and shook her head. Do yourself and go somewhere else. Anywhere else. This is the best spot for me and my best friend when we want to pamper our selfs. Prices are great and we love the staff, they know us as regulars and they always offer us something to drink. We always get the complimentary wine. ;-) You get a neck message with a manicure and they message your arms too. It's Great! The pedicures are fantastic, we get the deluxe with paraffin wax. They message your calf's too not just your feet like some places. They also have free new slippers to get you home without messing up your pedi. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE! This used to be my go to place since it was close to my house and their express gel manicure is only $25, however, I'm actively looking for a new salon after having the worst experiences the last few times I went there. Everything is rushed and you can tell that the technicians are over worked and just don't give a crap about anyone. It seems like every time I go in there they offer everyone except me something to drink, I let it go the first time but it became consistent. The last time I went there the women doing my nails was so busy looking around that instead of square she filed all of my nails diagonal. On top of diagonal shaped nails one of my nails had a bubble under the gel making it stick up weird....I asked her if she could fix it and she told me no, that it was my fault for putting my hand too close to the light, although at the beginning she told me it wasn't in far enough so I adjusted. I went home with the bubble and it ended up peeling off after only a few days. Although I can't understand what they are saying you can tell that they are all talking shit about everyone the whole time based on their body language and persistent eye rolling. I witnessed them all getting angry with one of the new technicians who was taking the time to help a customer pick out a color that would match her dress....they told her that she needed to hurry up in front of the customer and when she continued to look for a color someone swooped in and took over. It's an all around bad experience and your money and time are better spent elsewhere! read more
