I don't know why there is so many negative reviews. I've been coming to Q nails since it open, everyone that works here are nice and friendly. I first started doing my nails with Lisa who is amazing and takes her time, you will never leave disappointed. I got Annie one time and never went back to anyone else, she is amazing funny and such a talented girl. Very unpleasant/ unprofessional experience. As being a 4 year old customer. I came with a friend to get a gel full set nails . Nail apex was way too thick . Shaping was horrible . they were crooked and the worker was making rude comments. Gel began lifting after a few days . Terrible service . Unsatisfied especially for the price. I really didn't like this place. The people are rude and speak in vietnamese when u ask them to do something differently. Example: I wanted them to use a nail strengthner below my color and the lady argued for so long about not wanting to do it! !! Then I asked her to be gentle when filing the top of my nail and she started talking in vietnamese with the other ladies really fast. also. They don't have OPI gel colors which are my favorite. Went to this place about 2 days ago for a fill. Upon getting there I waited about 45 mins before being helped. That should've been a hint for me to leave. So I get helped and I chose to get a fill, the tech filed down my nails and made them thin and I have a nail that's crooked. The following day I broke a nail when I was washing my hair and the day after (today) I broke another nail while eating. Seriously? It's not a rigorous activity. They over charge too. The ladies here are all so nice! My go to person is Lily. She takes her time with your nails and to listen to all your concerns. Even if the store gets busy, she will not rush on your nails. My nails turned out EXACTLY how I wanted it each time. I also came back for a fill, and they look just great. I'm very happy with my nails and the pricing here. It's $20 with acrylic full set and an additional $10 for gel. Shaping your nail costs an additional $3-$5.. I forgot. Lol. Come here and get your nails done! You won't regret it. read more

Wow. I just saw that another customer posted about an infection after a pedicure. I am a 9 YEAR CUSTOMER at this nail salon. They have had their ups and downs with me but the LAST STRAW was after I got a pedicure about a month ago, and I noticed some discomfort after about 2 days. Long story short, I went back for the pedi tech to look at it and PUS CAME OUT when she checked it. No wonder I was in pain, the owner was denying my complaint, telling me it was nothing at first. That was what hurt me the most because clearly she did not care. I had to go to the Dr and take antibiotics for 5 days. Let me tell you NEVER AGAIN. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! IT'S EVEN EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT THEY DO. But I gave them the benefit of being close to my home. Well I learned my lesson. Please avoid this place. read more

Ive been coming here for a while I guess I just got used to the usual. I get regular mani/pedi and they always try to sell me the gel or their #2 option for a pedicure. But i guess thats anywhere you go. Anyway, I havent been here in a while but they installed cup holders for the 8 oz water bottle they give u during ur pedi. I guess thats the reason for their price increase. I think their prices are OK and their service is OK. Mediocre. Their color selection is ehh. Not bad but not the best. Just average. Oh and their English isnt all that great. And the owner always asks about my mom like theyre homies lol. Update: no more water bottles but they now add a liner to their spa pedicure. Which is good for hygiene. But last time i came they automatically used their callus remover and charged me for it without even asking if i wanted it. -_- read more

My husband and I visited this nail salon and were Very disappointed by the service we received. The wait was long while the staff did not appear interested in friendly service. While my husband waited for service, the manager and two other employees served a lady who did not have an appointment and arrived after us. When this matter was brought to the manager's attention, she denied the accusation, until the lady served before my husband was asked if when she arrived did she see my husband waiting, she said "Yes." Generous one star, I'm very disappointed in this place. I've been getting my nails done at AT nails on 2413 N.Tustin Ave in Santa Ana with the magical Tony, best nail tech in the game! Only reason why I came was because he was so busy and I needed my nails done. I came and got my nails done with Jenny. My nails came out so thin and broke within days which never happens. So of course I come back to get them fixed. Jenny was extremely rude to me and tried to take a picture of my hands holding on to them in which i literally pulled away and asked her to not take any pictures in which she refused to delete because according to her it was for "her protection" mind you I'm Latina so you can imagine how offensive that sounds. I asked her to delete the pic she took without my consent and she still refused. When she was doing my nails she refused to match the fixed nails to the set I had and said I had to pay more which is seriously ridiculous I had asked her to at least make them match the shape size or even length. Worst 45$ spent. This is why you don't go somewhere else when you have a good nail tech already. Which is even 10$ cheaper for the best nails set and gel! read more

This nail salon does a good job as far as nails go, but customer service and prices are the absolute worst ! My sister and I go to this nail salon when we are in the area and every time we get charged differently never less always more, this place has no price board meaning they can charge you whatever they feel like charging you. Today was our very last time there, not only did they make us wait an hour with 3 of their employees just sitting down talking to each other doing absolutely nothing, but they charged me 40 dollars for a full set and my sister 27 for a fill , the last time we went I only paid 20 for a set and my sister 16 for a fill , and just to add the cherry on top as we were getting ready to leave , a women walked asking how much a fill was and the lady said 15 dollars we were livid . They only get two stars because my gel nails are somewhat decent. The girls here make you feel very uncomfortable and to add insult to injury they don't listen and overcharge. I told three different girls that I would be paying for my mom, sister, and I when they never charged me. Literally the biggest mistake I've ever made going to this place. The owner or Boss idk what her name is she gave me the worst service of my life. She did what she wanted not what I asked for. She kept worrying about everyone else except about me who was right in front of her. She messed up a lot and I kept telling her the steps she skipped and she said oh it's ok. No it's not ok. She left old nail polish from my last manicure. I asked for long and narrow and she did short and square. I told her that it wasn't what I asked for again she said oh it's ok I'll fix it. She didn't. My cuticles are a complete mess. The cherry on top of the shit Sunday was the price. 35 dollars for a full set and I had brought in my own polish. I would never go back.
