I've been coming here consistently for about 6 months now. I come in for dip powder on my nails. I usually get them done by Louis (I hope I spelled it right) and he is amazing, but they all do such a great job. I love that this shop is honest and kind. My fiancé and I came in and we were overcharged for our pedicures, but I had no idea. I came in a couple days later to get my nails done and they let me know they had made a mistake and overcharged me, they ended up giving me my money that I was overcharged. I went here today to get a gel manicure & pedicure for my birthday & my last time to treat myself for a while since i'm giving birth in 2 days. I made an appointment for me and my friend i scheduled myself for a gel manicure & pedicure, and for my friend acrylic nails. We waited over 30 minutes after our appointment time, they didn't even start the water for me or acknowledge me or her until about 20 minutes in and they finally turned the water on for my feet. Once she started she didn't even give me a choice to pick what kind of pedicure i wanted, she just started and went with the most basic pedicure, also i barely got to pick my color they didn't even give me the color books. She rubbed my legs TWICE and scrubbed my feet and started putting polish on... RIDICULOUS, also she made my big toe nails two different lengths which i'm not happy about. Everyone around me got a lot more treatment than i did. The gel pedicure is sloppy, and very rushed! I will never go to this place again, i'm disappointed i spent my money here and not somewhere who will make you feel relaxed instead of stressed. This was my first and LAST experience with this place, very disappointed on how my manicure and pedicure looks. read more

My daughter and I got our nails done for the second time at Q Nails. The owner and staff are very gracious. They greet you, seat you, and ask if you would like a beverage. The owner works as hard as the other very talented nail artists. They are a well synchronized team. We were in a hurry, and they worked together to help us get done in time to make our next appointment. My husband was newly diagnosed with cancer, so we have been busy getting him to doctors, chemo radiation, etc. My daughter and I felt that we had spent the afternoon at a spa. I asked for dip powder and a regular manicure and neither were done correctly. The nail technician did not soak or clean my nails prior to starting, never touched my cuticles (until I asked after she started painting) and I had to ask her three times to fix a nail that she messed up before she agreed to fix it. The dip powder was not at all an authentic dip powder like I've had many times before. She used colored polish, dipped it in powder then put my hand under the UV light each coat. Two days later, three of my nails had peeled up/off. Dip powder has lasted me four weeks with no issues in the past. I kindly told her many times throughout the process that I was unhappy with what was happening or asked for something different. I ended up going to a different place to have the three nails fixed (they were laughing at the way my "dip powder" nails were done). I will never go back and I do not recommend this place, especially for dip powder. Waste of $40. read more

My daughter-in-law made an appointment for 5 and when we arrived, they were super busy and weren't going to seat us next to one another. We had to wait. Then, her manicure was horrible. Usually we wouldn't mind as much, but the manicure was for her marriage to my son. I called to explain the situation and the man who answered said he'd show up at 10:00 AM the next morning to fix her nails. He stood us up! So disappointing! Came in as a first time customer. Got a pedicure and a full set. First of all the place is really nice and clean. The pedicure was not worth coming here. It was a 15 minute pedi and the tech I had got upset because I didn't want gel on my toes so she rushed. Definitely wouldn't come back for a pedicure just didn't think it was worth my time. Second of all I got dip nails and that didn't turn out well. The powder was not working correctly from what the tech said. My nails looked like a beginner did my nails. Right when I walked out a nail broke. Had to go back in and tell them and had to come back the following day so they could take them and redo my nails. I appreciate them fixing the nails since I wasn't happy. I won't be going back because I got FUNGUS on my TOES! This has been the worse for me and so upsetting. If it wasn't for that I would give them 4 stars. read more

She proceeded to continue and she cut me again cutting the skin on the side of my other toe. Blood everywhere. Three days later and my foot still hurts. I hope it doesn't get infected. This place does a good job with your nails and its very clean. Never again! Not even the 30 minute wait after my appointment time bothered me, it was the quality of the product. My nailS (more than one) started breaking only two days after getting a full brand new set! I went with two other people that day and both are experiencing cracks and lifting already as well. I just moved here and was looking for a salon that does not soak your nails in acetone as my skin is very sensitive to it, so I called Q Nails and asked them if they did and they said "no", so I made an appointment. Upon arriving, the girl I was assigned to, I believe her name was Kim, filed my nails down some, then proceeded to place them in a bowl of acetone. I tried several times explaining to her that my skin is sensitive and cannot be in the acetone, and she just looked at me and continued to soak them. I asked another girl to explain it to her and they just looked at me. Finally, I agreed to soak them this one time just to get on with the procedure (my skin is starting to split already because of it). After soaking the nails, she then proceeded to use the rotary file to file them and filed my thumb down to the skin, causing it to bleed. When I pointed it out to her, she said "don't worry, I will take care of it", after which she then tried to "file down" the red spot. Next, I had chosen a color to apply as a French nail, which I told her from the start. She started applying the color to my whole nail. I told her I wanted a French nail and tried to explain it to her, then she took off the color and went and got white nail polish to do a French nail. When I tried to explain I wanted the French nail done in the color I picked, she just looked at me, then started talking in her native language to the other girls and started laughing (like I didn't know she was talking about me). I told several girls there seemed to be a communication problem and could someone translate for me, and the girl said "no, I understand". By then there was a lot of tension and it was uncomfortable for me as a new client, so I told then I would just do clear to hurry up and get out of there. She proceeded to do the French tip, and I paid and left-NEVER to return!! read more
