She could've said do you have another card or something else, but she just said card declined. I also don't like have for substitutions you have to pay extra like for green sauce. Food is good, but hopefully next time we get a better server and food doesn't take forever to come out.

Ordered 2 tortas, 1 burrito, 2 asada tacos and 2 carnitas tacos. They were all superb. Asada was exceptionally juicy. Was not expecting it to be based on a review of a yelper. But man were they good. Next time the burrito will have no beans. I prefer it that way. I also love the hot sauce they provide you with. I think it has a tinge of MSG in it, as it is so addicting. When I go back I will get tortas and 10 tacos. 5 asada and 5 carnitas. Yummm ! Can't wait! By the way, I was eating this stuff the whole weekend. Saturday till Sunday midnight snack. I've been a customer for a while. I know they change the people preparing the food but the higiene should remain the same. Today I went to order tortas and I saw how they left the meat unattended, over the counter without a lid, for about 5 min. During that time, 2 flies landed on the meat and crawled all over it multiple times. The worker then proceeded to chop the meat and mix it with some other meat. I canceled my order, explaining my reason, and the cashier didn't say anything in their defense. read more

I grew up in Placentia, and anyone who lives around Old Town Santa Fe has probably stopped at least once, or like me has been a loyal customer. Its not the prettiest place, but I always go through the drive thru anyways. I can vouch for their sopes and flautas all day cause bottom line, its made when you order, and its the best Mexican food place hands down in Old Town Santa Fe. Delicious and authentic, and the service is always very good and the wait for food nor the drive thru is ever long. read more

This is one of our favorite place for carnitas but today was horrible , we got charge 60 dollars for getting only orejas and gordos ? Really instead of mix carnitas. ? This issue never happened before . Idk if this happens cuz the place is almost close or is a prep cooker issue . But I'm totally disappointed with the price I got charge for and the little amount of meat and a lot of gordos and orejas . Hope you guys improve your quality cuz is expensive for what you guys give to customers . read more

No, but I enjoyed them. The Atmosphere: It's a smallish medium-sized establishment with a mix of comfortable booth seating and tables. Everything is relatively clean and organized, though a bit spartan -- don't expect anything fancy. The Location: Ponchos has a State College Boulevard address, but you'll actually need to turn onto Walnut Avenue to access the parking lot. It's located in a small strip mall that's hard to spot from the road because State College Boulevard dips downward under a railroad bridge. However, there's usually free parking in the lot (as long as the nearby power lifting gym doesn't hold a competition, which always results in an overload of cars). The Pros: * Lots of different dishes with more proteins than the standard fare (i.e. lengua, shrimp.) * Customer service is usually very fast, friendly, and knowledgable. * Costs are affordable (unlike other shops that have jacked up their prices) * They offer free chips and salsa if you dine in The Cons: * During this past visit, the salsa bar had lemons instead of limes. * The bathroom meets the bare minimum but could definitely use a remodel (or at least a deep cleaning) The Conclusion: Ponchos Tacos is not perfect, but it's one of my go-to places when I want good street tacos, mulitas, or vampiros at an affordable price.
