    Adeni chai & Honeycomb bread
    Sam B.

#190 in my Coffeeshop Chronicles. Qamaria is a very cute Yemeni coffeeshop. I hadn't known before coming here, but Yemeni coffee is widely considered the origin of the global coffee trade, as Yemen was where coffee was first commercialized in the 1400s. I have to say, I was fascinated to learn the history of the Yemeni coffee culture and it's global footprint. Anyways, for my first visit, I ordered the Adeni chai and honeycomb bread. The tea was incredible and I loved the combination of spices. It also paired well with the honeycomb bread, which was similar to a warm brioche filled with cream cheese and drizzled with honey. My second visit I tried their signature Qamaria latte and biscoff milk cake. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of the latte, which tasted overly bitter. I'm not sure if it was just prepared incorrectly that day, but it felt like they're significantly better at brewing tea than making coffee. Regardless, even with the lackluster coffee, my second visit was still a success thanks to the biscoff milk cake. I'm normally not a fan of tres leches, but this cake was phenomenal and I would absolutely get it again and again! ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. Average. Might return if others drag me. 4 Stars: Yum! Likely to return. 5 Stars: Amazing! Would plan my day around it.

Parking is available on the street. They have plenty of indoor seating, making it a great spot to study or hang out. I don't remember the exact name of the drink I ordered, but I think it may have been the Qamaria Latte. It was really good, strong, flavorful, and not overly sweet! Service: 5/5 Tip(s): - Street parking - Plenty of indoor seating - Accept Apple Pay - Restroom available

I've always enjoyed the pistachio latte here but I rarely purchase from here and I remembered again why today. I do not easily see the prices on the menu, if they are there, and I'm sure that's intentional. The pistachio latte is $9.16 (tax included)! Is it good - oh yes- but this isn't a shop I can frequent due to the price. The service is just fine and the space is clean. I recommend trying it for sure, but know it will likely cost quite a bit. I'm sure I'll forget in several months how much this delicious drink is and come back to start the cycle all over again. Check it out!

After an early dinner, we went out for dessert and coffee. I've never been to Qamaria Coffee, but I enjoyed the experience here. The young lady behind the counter was very helpful in answering my questions. I took her advice and got the dates ice coffee with almond milk. The pistachio cheese cake was not overly sweet and was nice and dense. We must of come at a good time, as we found seating right away and the noise level was good. Later in the evening it started to get crowded and a bit noisier. Overall, a comfortable time and enjoyable dessert. I would go back again if I was in the area. Enjoy.

I got the pistachio latte with oat milk, and it was delicious! I loved the nuttiness of the pistachio with my latte. The pistachio sauce is on the sweeter side, so make sure to mix it well or you can ask for it less sweet. There's street parking available, and you order with the server at the front. There's plenty of seating inside, so it's a good place to study or get work done. The desserts and pastries looked really good, so I'll definitely be back next time to try those!

Qamaria Yemeni Coffee intrigues you with her name, entices you with her bold ("Discover Coffee's origins") slogan then seizes you with the nonpareil quality of its coffee and desserts. Qamaria owes its name from the Arabic word for moon قَمَريّة, and refers to the decorative, arched stained glass windows perched above doors in Yemen . The windows cast a subtle, moonlike glow and epitomize beauty and warmth in Yememi homes. Your faithful and favorite Yelp correspondent/Uber courier had just ferried a seafood platter to nearby Malden Station when I discovered Qamaria. Upon your first foray into the brightly lit, warmth-poring-outtve-every-corner store, you're enthusiastically greeted then handed a laminated menu to peruse. How many coffee shoppes do that?! I ordered a large Sheeba coffee, which is a lighter brew with cardamom and ginger added. At the risk of desecrating several millenia of Yemeni Coffee culture, I stirred in four Splenda sugars and two creamers. I am no longer a big coffee nut, having supplanted my former four-cups-of-java a day fix with...enough Diet Coke to float Carnival's newest super cruise ship...However, this cup of coffee, so lovingly prepared and delivered to me on this blustery M afternoon was just DIVINE. Creamy, immensely fulfilling and kissed with the gentle but distinctive aromatic ardor of cardamom and ginger. WONDROUS! I am a lifelong sucker for anything pistachio, so when I saw the Pistachio Milk Cake in the glass case I had to order a piece. The cake was, true to its name, milk-based, so not an ideal dessert if you're aspiring to consume it without any implements. Once I recognized the decadent but runny texture of the cake, I swiftly pivoted and decided to eat the cake indoors. It was good but not earth shattering, the pistachio flavor extremely mild. I would very likely order a different item on future visits. I wish Qamaria had venues closer to my Diamond Bar home! But if you're ever in the Fullerton area you'd be remiss to miss out on your own magic carpet ride to the heart of coffee's origins.

Qamaria Yemeni Coffee in Fullerton is such a cute study spot near CSUF! Plenty of seats, outlets, and cozy vibes. Their pastries were so good, especially the honeycomb bread, khaliyat al-nahil -- a cream cheese-filled sweet bread drizzled with honey. I wasn't the biggest fan of the iced matcha latte since the matcha flavor was pretty weak and tasted more milky once mixed. Their iced Qamaria latte was good though, so I feel like their coffee drinks are the move here. I'd definitely come back to try more of their coffees and pastries!

Always loved these type of coffee places! Didn't disappoint. Got the yemeni latte, the spices were very good. Also got matcha latte which wasn't as impressive. Turkish coffee hit the spot, super hot though! It's conveniently located near Amtrak and walkable distance. Quick service, plenty of tables to sit. Overall great place to study and quiet!

Qamaria has such a great atmosphere, and it's one of my favorite spots whenever I'm in Fullerton. This place is usually busy, like really busy, but I've visited both during peak times and when it's quieter, and it's never been a disappointment. I genuinely love coming here whenever I can. The ambience, seating, and overall environment are all great and make it easy to relax and enjoy your time. Customer service has always been solid, their desserts are really good, and I love their adani chai and pistachio latte. A great place to unwind and enjoy good drinks and a welcoming vibe.

*Note: TDLR at the end of the review Pistachio Latte: 9/10 Great ice to drink ratio. The pistachio flavor is pretty in your face which I love. Not a strong espresso flavor and on the sweeter side. Creamy and nutty finish. I don't recommend for the strong coffee drinkers looking for that bitter finish. Service: 8/10 Cashier was very nice and helped me figure out what I wanted. The drink came out in maybe 5-10 minutes, and barista gave it to me with a smile on his face. Ambiance: 8/10 Super aesthetic and clean! Outlets available. Can get cold so definitely bring a sweater. There's plenty of seating, but it does get crowded towards later in the day, so I do maybe recommend some noise cancelling headphones. Nice indoor and natural lighting and view of the outside. TDLR: Great study spot. Outlets available. Can get a bit cold. Open till midnight and drinks are yummy! Plenty of seating but can get a bit crowded later in the day. Clean interior and parking is remotely easy because there's a parking structure right next to the shop and it's free.

Walked in and it's bright & very welcoming. The staff was kind and very quick to take our order & grab our desserts. We ordered the pistachio kunafa cheesecake was delicious! Graham cracker crust with cheesecake and topped with crunchy pistachio cream covered in chocolate similar to Dubai chocolate just not sure if that's completely correct but nonetheless delicious! We also ordered the Oreo cheesecake. Oreo cookie crust, creamy Oreo cheesecake and topped with Oreo crumbs. It was just as delicious if you're not as adventurous but I'd still choose the pistachio over it. The space is a good size. Very spacious for coffee dates or just a great place to get some work in and enjoy some coffee. If I lived closer I'd definitely come by to try more and grab coffee but being 630p coffee is not the best idea for me but the dessert definitely hit the spot. Worth the drive if you're visiting the area.

Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co. is such a great spot to study--calm vibe, plenty of seating, and perfect for getting work done. They also have a huge selection of desserts, and their pistachio options are especially good. Definitely a go-to if you want something cozy and productive. Super close to CSUF and Kosha Yoga! Service was really sweet and it felt like everyone there was family and wanted to take care of us!

    Mango cheesecake
    Jeremy S.

My friend and I tried out this coffee shop for late-night dessert. We parallel parked in front of the restaurant on Commonwealth Ave. We got the iced mango matcha latte ($10), mango smoothie ($8), and mango cheesecake ($8). The drinks and food were solid, but they were definitely costly cafe purchases. The cafe also considered these as "dine-in" prices. At first, I thought that mango and matcha wouldn't pair well together. However, the mango flavor was subtle, and it complemented the iced matcha latte quite well. The mango smoothie was suitably sweet with a thick texture. The mango cheesecake was great overall with just the right amount of sweetness. The dine-in presentation was nice as well as we got our food and drinks on an ornate tray. They give you a buzzer that calls you up to the front to pick up your order. The ambience was understandably busy because enjoying a Friday night with tasty desserts and drinks is a nice way to begin the weekend.

Do they have decaf coffee? Thanks!

They don't. But they have non-caffeinated drinks and delicious hot chocolate! I usually get that when I go late at night.

    Is this cuisine peanut-allergy friendly?

They use a lot of pistachios in their desserts and coffee. I'm sure they have substitutes though..

Is this a good place to study?

Hey Alia! We’re a late night coffee shop so it definitely gets a little loud as it gets busier during later hours. it’s still a great place to study as we have many students come in daily earlier in the day!

What flavors of syrups are offered on Iced Lattes?

They have a mocha latte, pistachio latte and Qamaria latte (cardamom and cinnamon). They might have a caramel syrup as well.

It was amazing the first time I tried it, and somehow it's just as good every single time I go. The cheese foam on top isn't too sweet, salty, or heavy. It's smooth and creamy, but it doesn't overpower the coffee at all. And the cookie that comes with it? Dip it into the cheese foam. So, so good. The coffee itself isn't too sweet or bitter. The latte is just really clean, smooth, and perfectly balanced. Tiramisu coffee can sometimes be way too sweet and heavy, but this one is nothing like that. That's why I always order two. I drink the first one there, nice and slow. A little cookie dipped in the cheese foam, a sip of coffee, another bite, another sip. I mean, I drove all the way from LA to Fullerton. Why would I rush it? And the second one? That one comes back to LA with me. Because I need it for that wonderful 5 Freeway traffic.
