    Adeni chai & Honeycomb bread
    Sam B.

#190 in my Coffeeshop Chronicles. Qamaria is a very cute Yemeni coffeeshop. I hadn't known before coming here, but Yemeni coffee is widely considered the origin of the global coffee trade, as Yemen was where coffee was first commercialized in the 1400s. I have to say, I was fascinated to learn the history of the Yemeni coffee culture and it's global footprint. Anyways, for my first visit, I ordered the Adeni chai and honeycomb bread. The tea was incredible and I loved the combination of spices. It also paired well with the honeycomb bread, which was similar to a warm brioche filled with cream cheese and drizzled with honey. My second visit I tried their signature Qamaria latte and biscoff milk cake. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of the latte, which tasted overly bitter. I'm not sure if it was just prepared incorrectly that day, but it felt like they're significantly better at brewing tea than making coffee. Regardless, even with the lackluster coffee, my second visit was still a success thanks to the biscoff milk cake. I'm normally not a fan of tres leches, but this cake was phenomenal and I would absolutely get it again and again! ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. Average. Might return if others drag me. 4 Stars: Yum! Likely to return. 5 Stars: Amazing! Would plan my day around it.

Parking is available on the street. They have plenty of indoor seating, making it a great spot to study or hang out. I don't remember the exact name of the drink I ordered, but I think it may have been the Qamaria Latte. It was really good, strong, flavorful, and not overly sweet! Service: 5/5 Tip(s): - Street parking - Plenty of indoor seating - Accept Apple Pay - Restroom available

I got the pistachio latte with oat milk, and it was delicious! I loved the nuttiness of the pistachio with my latte. The pistachio sauce is on the sweeter side, so make sure to mix it well or you can ask for it less sweet. There's street parking available, and you order with the server at the front. There's plenty of seating inside, so it's a good place to study or get work done. The desserts and pastries looked really good, so I'll definitely be back next time to try those!

Quamaria has great coffee! It's quite pricey but very worth it. I enjoy every drink I get from here. The employees are friendly and attentive and I love the presentation of their drinks. I've also tried their milk cakes and they're so good! I came late at night but the shop was still buzzing with people. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and it's kept clean.

I've always enjoyed the pistachio latte here but I rarely purchase from here and I remembered again why today. I do not easily see the prices on the menu, if they are there, and I'm sure that's intentional. The pistachio latte is $9.16 (tax included)! Is it good - oh yes- but this isn't a shop I can frequent due to the price. The service is just fine and the space is clean. I recommend trying it for sure, but know it will likely cost quite a bit. I'm sure I'll forget in several months how much this delicious drink is and come back to start the cycle all over again. Check it out!

The food all tasted really great we got the Honeycomb, the strawberry dragonfruit refresher, the wild peach refresher, both cake pops and coffee. The drinks were actually really refreshing, the cake pops were soft and chewy and the honeycomb was really cheesy and warm. The service was great and the lady at the counter was really nice. The vibe was great, the music was nice and it looked great.

After an early dinner, we went out for dessert and coffee. I've never been to Qamaria Coffee, but I enjoyed the experience here. The young lady behind the counter was very helpful in answering my questions. I took her advice and got the dates ice coffee with almond milk. The pistachio cheese cake was not overly sweet and was nice and dense. We must of come at a good time, as we found seating right away and the noise level was good. Later in the evening it started to get crowded and a bit noisier. Overall, a comfortable time and enjoyable dessert. I would go back again if I was in the area. Enjoy.

Qamaria Coffee has easily become my favorite spot! The staff here are incredibly nice and friendly. They genuinely care about their customers and always remember my exact drink order. The space is wonderful, with plenty of comfortable seating whether you are trying to relax or get some work done. Both the drinks and the desserts are absolutely amazing and always hit the spot. What truly sets this place apart for me is that they play Quranic verses inside. It creates an extremely calming environment that helps you feel peaceful and connect with Allah while you enjoy your coffee. A beautiful, welcoming space!

Always loved these type of coffee places! Didn't disappoint. Got the yemeni latte, the spices were very good. Also got matcha latte which wasn't as impressive. Turkish coffee hit the spot, super hot though! It's conveniently located near Amtrak and walkable distance. Quick service, plenty of tables to sit. Overall great place to study and quiet!

Qamaria Yemeni Coffee intrigues you with her name, entices you with her bold ("Discover Coffee's origins") slogan then seizes you with the nonpareil quality of its coffee and desserts. Qamaria owes its name from the Arabic word for moon قَمَريّة, and refers to the decorative, arched stained glass windows perched above doors in Yemen . The windows cast a subtle, moonlike glow and epitomize beauty and warmth in Yememi homes. Your faithful and favorite Yelp correspondent/Uber courier had just ferried a seafood platter to nearby Malden Station when I discovered Qamaria. Upon your first foray into the brightly lit, warmth-poring-outtve-every-corner store, you're enthusiastically greeted then handed a laminated menu to peruse. How many coffee shoppes do that?! I ordered a large Sheeba coffee, which is a lighter brew with cardamom and ginger added. At the risk of desecrating several millenia of Yemeni Coffee culture, I stirred in four Splenda sugars and two creamers. I am no longer a big coffee nut, having supplanted my former four-cups-of-java a day fix with...enough Diet Coke to float Carnival's newest super cruise ship...However, this cup of coffee, so lovingly prepared and delivered to me on this blustery M afternoon was just DIVINE. Creamy, immensely fulfilling and kissed with the gentle but distinctive aromatic ardor of cardamom and ginger. WONDROUS! I am a lifelong sucker for anything pistachio, so when I saw the Pistachio Milk Cake in the glass case I had to order a piece. The cake was, true to its name, milk-based, so not an ideal dessert if you're aspiring to consume it without any implements. Once I recognized the decadent but runny texture of the cake, I swiftly pivoted and decided to eat the cake indoors. It was good but not earth shattering, the pistachio flavor extremely mild. I would very likely order a different item on future visits. I wish Qamaria had venues closer to my Diamond Bar home! But if you're ever in the Fullerton area you'd be remiss to miss out on your own magic carpet ride to the heart of coffee's origins.

Amazing espresso! You should try this location .Great ambiance! You will go back again and again!

Best coffee ever! Dulli great customer service. I recommend you come here if you are craving something new and different.

Sadly this is not the spot for matcha lattes, the 1 stars is solely for the drink alone. Paid like $10 and it's one of those that mostly just tastes like milk.. would've rather just drove more down to my typical matcha spot but wanted to try something new. Other than that atmosphere was really nice seems looks like a great spot to do work/study, lots of outlets, clean! I'll have to come back and try the desserts and their other drinks that looked good.

Do they have decaf coffee? Thanks!

They don't. But they have non-caffeinated drinks and delicious hot chocolate! I usually get that when I go late at night.

    Is this cuisine peanut-allergy friendly?

They use a lot of pistachios in their desserts and coffee. I'm sure they have substitutes though..

Is this a good place to study?

Hey Alia! We’re a late night coffee shop so it definitely gets a little loud as it gets busier during later hours. it’s still a great place to study as we have many students come in daily earlier in the day!

What flavors of syrups are offered on Iced Lattes?

They have a mocha latte, pistachio latte and Qamaria latte (cardamom and cinnamon). They might have a caramel syrup as well.

However, upon drinking it, it tasted like the foam that was on top of the drink had been sitting out for too long. It didn't quite tasted spoiled yet, but also didn't taste "right"/fresh; something was really off about it. A bit disappointing honestly, in comparison to my previous visits in past years. It feels like the quality has dropped and/or I just visited on an off day. It was also incredibly loud in here, the music was way too loud and it wasn't a full house. People couldn't hear their orders being called and it lead to a weird clump of people just lingering around wondering where their drinks were. And unless you're seated/have a table, you're kind of stuck awkwardly hovering around the cafe to wait for your order. There isn't really a space to wait at. There's a ton of tables packed inside a small space, which is nice, but also makes for a weird atmosphere for customers who are waiting for their drinks for take out/can't get a table. There is not much to comment on service as you order yourself on kiosks then just pick up your drink. Not sure if I'd return; maybe for another drink if I'm in the area but I think I personally have other spots I prefer a bit more for the taste/quality.

There's a large gazebo and umbrellas to shade you from the sun. Fun, whimsical displays throughout the garden, including bird houses, curated displays, and miniature communities. Service was welcoming and efficient. I highly recommend this cafe if you're looking for a nice outdoor garden to eat, drink, and hang out.
