This place was awesome. As a disabled woman I always have to check accessibility. They arranged to pick me up from the ferry. A car met us right at the boat. Mia/Nia (ugh I can't remember) checked us in. She was incredible. Even fave me a mini home spa kit because it was my birthday. I went in January during my birthday month and enjoyed their free birthday discount. The place was so clean, everyone was friendly. The food was very pricey and the choices are limited. But the accommodations and views are breathtaking. Everything was easily accessible with my walker. There is an elevator, but a few places the quickest route I had to walk up or down a few steps. This spa has many of the touches of a very famous spa in Italy QC San Pellegrino Terme, one of my favorites for the amenities, food, famous water, and proximity to Milan. I can see where they are Navigating the experience given nyc's much different hospitality guidelines and smaller footprint. It's an oasis and surely to be a great hit. I had a woooonderful experience here! The views are absolutely stunning, and I was really impressed at the wide variety of rooms and the attention to detail. We came on a Tuesday evening and got to soak in the hot pool while watching the cirque performers. The staff were all attentive and kind- but I have to give a special nod of appreciation for Victor! He was so lovely and just a special human and a huge asset to the team. The amenities were well thought out and well styled, and I love how easy they made it to arrive on the ferry. Let me start this review off by saying I had been and was a returning customer. I've been going to QC since they opened up in Governor's island. I went numerous times and even recommended this place to friends and family. The service I received today was nothing short of awful. What was supposed to be another relaxing day at the spa turned out to be more stressful than a meeting on zoom. For context we booked third party, always have, the exact same thing every time and no issues. Until today It was my husbands birthday and we decided to once again take advantage of their birthday promotion as we do every year for our birthdays. I knew from the get go that this time, it was not going to go well. They immediately could not find our booking. Which was strange to me because they had a very bright yellow sticky note on their computer that had my whole government name, my booked time slot and even "bday" written on it. Strange that they couldnt find my booking info yet they had my booking info before i even walked in. Anyway they eventually and magically found it after a few back and forths and suddenly it went from a simple check in process to a complete hot mess. The self titled "front desk manager" said that my husband cold not come in until 6pm due to availability. Even though we booked months in advance. They then proceeded to say that we could not take advantage of their birthday promotion because "weve since changed things" yet the website has the exact same info it had last year and the year before. She then wanted us to buy an entirely new ticket, meaning the birthday promo was not going to be honored. And if we wanted them to honor it, we would have to wait til 6pm to check if there's availability. Mind you we were there by 10am. It clearly states on their website that as-long as you're accompanied by a PAYING guest that the birthday persons entrance will be complimentary/free. This isn't our first rodeo, we have used this exact promo before. Manager then claimed that there is a price difference between the daily pass price and the birthday price. Yet instead of asking us to simply pay the difference, she kept up selling us packages that we were not interested in. We had all documents we needed to have and proof of ID with the birth date shown and we were still refused entry unless we paid for an additional ticket for my husband. Which has NEVER been the case. Not for his previous birthday, not for mines, my mother etc. you get the point. Listen, I don't care if the birthday promo is no longer a thing but the least y'all can do it update your website if thats the case. And if honoring it is such an issue then please just get rid of it completely. Zero customer service, they were not trying to find a solution at all. We kept getting told "well happy birthday but-" absolutely ridiculous and humiliating if you ask me. The availability thing made absolutely no sense to me because if yall are so "full" then you wouldn't even try to offer another FULL PRICE TICKET for us to be able to enter. Funny how the availability changes when mor money is given. I will not be going back to this spa, they lost a long time returning customer. Deal with this place at your own risk, because they clearly have a problem with people booking third party yet continue to offer their services to said third party. This a one and done place. The amenities are nice but limited for the price you have to pay. The views are great most of the workers seemed friendly. Becomes very crowded in the afternoon, there were lines of people waiting outside the infrared room ( maybe admission should be limited) Marlowe I think her name was at reception, was not very friendly, or helpful. She seemed to rush us, told Us to work on the iPad then said to sign the paper waivers instead. She didn't explain anything to us about what to expect, or what would be in our lockers. Receptionists are the first thing you experience when coming to the spa and they should be welcoming and friendly which she was not. read more

We came here the day before my wife's NCLEX exam. I thought it would be a great opportunity for her to relax and enjoy a day filled with relaxation. I don't get joy in saying this, but QCNY was the opposite of that. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the kind, polite, but condescending staff. The gentleman at the front didn't say much. We paid for our spa day and couples massage and were given a key to the locker room. He pointed us in the direction of the locker rooms and that was all that was said. We arrived at 5 and our massages were scheduled at 5:30. Not knowing what to really expect, we show up to our massages and were not greeted by anyone. We had to find someone to speak to, which in itself was a mission, because there was barely any staff around. Once we had everything set, we were greeted by two men and taken to a room where the couples massage would take place. My wife looked at me with some concern on her face. Then i asked, "Are you guys giving the massage?" The gentleman nodded his head "yes we'll be taking care of you". I'm thinking out loud at this point. "Wait a second, we're new to this whole spa and massage experience, so apologies if we didn't mention anything in advance, but we'd like our masseuses to be female." One of the men was very polite, but the other just turned around and walked away. The whole thing couldn't have been more awkward. The one kind gentleman proceeded to tell me that they didn't have female masseuses in that day. The front desk told us there would be only one female masseuse for 8:30. So i decided i didn't care. I'll take the male masseuse, as long as my wife gets a massage. We rebooked for 8:30. While we waited, we explored the grounds to discover that QCNY is just a nice pool with a great view. Nobody is doing the pampering but yourself. We decided the whole experience was already stressful enough and just wanted to leave. At 7:15 pm we told front desk we would like to cancel our massages. They said that would be okay but we wouldn't be receiving a refund for the massages. I don't converse with condescending people so i happily agreed and we went about our way. We did not proceed with the massages. We traveled to China Town and did a couples massage there. I sent this email and haven't heard a response back. "I'm emailing in regards to an incident that occurred during our visit to QCNY. I want to preface with saying that your staff was polite and respectful with our concern. We tried to cancel our massages due to a shortage of female masseuses on staff that day. We are new to the whole spa and massage experience and were not given the option to select a male or female masseuse online, or when we checked in. Me and my wife we're not comfortable with the male masseuses and the whole thing got pretty awkward. We tried canceling an hour and a half before the treatment, but were told we wouldn't get a refund. However, when i had checked online after speaking with staff, the cancelation and refund section states that, "In the event of unforeseen circumstances requiring a cancellation or modification of your visit or appointment, you agree to contact us to request to cancel or modify your visit or appointment at least one hour before your scheduled treatment or visit. In this case QCNY will not charge you any cost." We did not move forward with the massages. I appreciate your time and patience with this issue and look forward to your response!" QCNY was a huge disappointment. We would just like to feel heard, but instead i feel like i've been robbed. A friend and I went for the "Break" package (3 hrs all amenities) and to be completely honest this experience leaves a lot to be desired. Upon arrival there are not enough people to check you in, we waited about 15 min (wasting our allotted time) and the experience was a bit disorganized. Overall: Pros: The locker rooms and amenities are particularly clean and really lovely. Aesthetically this place is 10/10 which I think might be the purpose. The lawn staff is incredible and are very attentive. Thank you Julian, you were very helpful! Cons: Drinks are about $20 a piece which is to be expected. Food is subpar. There isn't enough seating without begging for extra chairs which is unfortunate considering the price per head. The pools are hot, yes, hot. Not cooling in the slightest which for a summer day is so disappointing. Overall I'd say that they are working out the kinks since this is a recent addition to the NYC scene (pool opened Memorial Day '22) but I hope they take the feedback to heart. read more

I am giving 4 stars because they just opened one day ago and it's clear they're still ironing out a few issues. Nothing too major though and I'm sure it'll be up to 5 in a few weeks. The main outside pools aren't open yet but I'm already looking forward to coming back when they are. Other than that, this place is lovely and such a welcome addition to New York. They have different types of dry and wet saunas, relaxation rooms, treatment rooms, massage rooms and there's a bistro onsite where you can get delicious light bites and drinks (alcoholic and otherwise). There are amazing views of the Lower Manhattan skyline and the staff are lovely (special shout out to Katelyn at the front desk who was the best!) No expense was spared here (I think the renovation from an old army barracks was $50m!) and it shows. It's around $100 for 4 hours which is such a bargain. A little more if you want to stay longer. I'm going to book a few more visits for the coming months because I guarantee this place will get booked out soon! Visited QCNY with my best friend during our girls weekend away at the city. It's certainly an impressive location with stunning views. Facilities are good - plenty of wellness rooms and options available and it's really great to have a bar and food available while enjoying the time there. However, it feels like it's falling short on some aspects. The grounds around the outdoor areas are in desperate need of attention - admittedly, they are under construction to improve the outdoor areas (lawn, plants, etc,) but for our visit is was still rough around the edges for the outdoor facilities. In fairness, we were notified after we booked that these areas were in the process of being improved but it was a little off putting while there. The pools outside were a little on the cooler side for want we wanted. If they can't heart the pool up more then a hot tub would be a great addition. Staff we're all friendly, helpful and professional inside. Couldn't help us more! Outside staff however seemed out of place - casual hoodies, some with cartoon characters - didn't feel in keeping with the vibe of the overall spa. Locker rooms were well equipped but shower area is small and not many available. Would have liked to have had lockers close by each other but we were split up - too bad they can't accommodate that for parties attending together. Overall, we had a fun few hours there and it was a memorable experience, but seems to still be in the opening phases with a few areas still needing to be improved upon. read more

We went to QC NY spa for my birthday. They offer a buy one get one admission during the week of your birthday so be sure to ask at the front desk at check jn. The site is beautiful and feels like an escape from the city. Drinks were delicious. They seemed short staffed so check in and ordering drinks took a long time. We were disappointed in the quality of food for the high price. The pool areas had a good amount of seating with tables but very few lounging chairs that were claimed for the day by early spa goers. Stinky sauna rooms, horrible loud music playing in nearly every room, almost no water anywhere, bad towels/robes, I could go on forever about how terrible this place is, there are so many better spas in NYC w/ good customer service, save yourself the drama. Worst part was we came as a group of 11 and they double charged us on one guest, we realized this at checkout but they gave some BS about all refunds have to be done via email because the company's financing is in Italy, which turned out to be a lie because after I sent an email detailing what happened I got a response 2+ weeks later from an unhelpful, unapologetic and unprofessional person at the NY location. Many exchanges later and they are not being transparent and still have not issued a refund for the double charge. I have requested a call back to go over the charges which they have avoided, it has now been nearly 1 week with no response. They seem to do this to other people as well. I brought my mother to QC for her birthday for a 5 hour entrance. We had so much fun and left so relaxed. The pools are heated very well so it's fun to go even when it's a chilly November day! I would recommend bringing your own sandals if you are local because it is more comfortable :) Unfortunately my mom lost her earring somewhere in the huge spa and noticed when we were already on the ferry returning, but it completely made her night when Dina reached out to us that housekeeping found the earring shortly after we had reached out! The best day spa I have visited thus far. Taking a ferry feels like you are truly getting away from the city. Governors Island is beautiful. The spa is a convenient short walk from the ferry. The view from the outdoor pools are IG worthy! It would have been nice/helpful to get a quick synopsis of the amenities available or a pamphlet of some sort. It would have been great if they planned better to have enough food for all guests, as they ran out. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. Robes were super cozy and the locker rooms feel so luxurious. Loved a little sandals that came with the welcome bag. Only down side to this place is that the a margarita is gonna set you back $20. I didn't have any of the food offered but I saw a bunch of people here enjoying the food. Four longtime friends who live in different areas decided to spend the day at QC NY Spa, hoping for a day of pampering and relaxation. The ferry ride from the city was the highlight of the experience. As a long-time New Yorker, I felt I was on vacation leaving the island by boat. Once arrived, there was a long line a to check-in and the check-in staff has no knowledge of the spa services. We decided to change into our robes and explore with lunch as the final stop. Walking around was a bit confusing but we were excited to try the different experiences. Lunch was mediocre. For a wellness spa, the food felt more like what they serve in coach on an airline, but expensive. We had a challenge finding a table big enough for four people, as most of the tables were for one or two people. After lunch, we went to the water experience area. Every spa I've been to usually has towels near these areas, we could not find one towel to sit on in the steam room, and had to go up a flight of stairs to grab them from the changing room. Most people just sat right on the tile in the steam, sauna, feet area and they were just laying on the rain tables, not the most sanitary or disease free atmosphere. There are hooks where you hang your robe and I returned to find mine with other people's robes hanging over my robe. And, there are no staff in these areas to help you. The fire room was relaxing, but did not offer many seats and the outdoor pool was too crowded...and it was a rainy day. Can't imagine going on a weekend in nice weather. It was quite communal and there were just too many people. When it was finally time for our massage, we thought it was be the highlight of the day. The room was not dark; a window was open and all I could hear was the loud noise of people partying outside. I asked the massage therapist if she could apply pressure like a deep tissue and her response was that she did not even start yet. She did not ask if there are any areas that she should focus on or any issues that she should address. During the massage I just kept thinking that I need to book a massage with a 'real' masseuse. The final straw came when it was time to shower. We walked to the shower area and there are two strips of communal hooks outside of the shower area, and nowhere inside each stall to hang a robe or towel, it felt dirty and had flimsy shower curtains that everyone could see into while you're showering. Most people who walked in were surprised, and many decided just not to shower as a result. Once showered, if you opt for it, there were no amenities like Q tips or tissues. Very little space to apply make-up and very dim light. Overall, we enjoyed being together but we're very disappointed with the experience. Upon check-out when we returned our locker key, the girl at the front desk asked how our experience was and when we responded saying it was not so great, she said that's nice, glad you enjoyed your day. Horrible/non-existent customer service. My visit to QC NY was cut short due to a power outage on the island which started about 30 min after i arrived. This meant there were no steam rooms, no jets, no infrared beds etc, not even food/drinks as they could not be rung up on the register. They gave no updates but just let everyone wait for 2 hours and then started kicking everyone out. Because there was no power, the showers were freezing and I couldn't dry my hair which made the experience even more unpleasant. I asked if I could reschedule since I had bought a day pass but only was able to use the facilities for about 30 min before this happened. They said they weren't able to give me an answer because their computers were down right not but I would have to email them and they would figure it out for me. Ok, understandable, an issue outside of their control. I emailed them that night, then had no response so called the next morning. No answer. Called them again during the week and multiple times I emailed them again. No response. I messaged them on social media. No response despite posting multiple reels and stories. I understand when issues come up that may be out of your control but for the price they charge not having ANY customer service is just completely unacceptable. They should at least offer to reschedule or a voucher for return. The only option I have right now is a charge back since they will not respond to me. Horrible experience and will be telling everyone to check out Sojo spa and World Spa and other spots instead. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. This spa is a complete bait and switch. What seemed to present as a beautiful, relaxing day spa online was anything but that in-person. From the moment we walked up to the building, it was one of the oddest spa greetings i've ever encountered. Front desk attendants were nice but gave no direction on where to go or what was offered once you checked in. We were left wandering around this odd building, with no signs (besides the floor plan on each elevator bank which is like a labyrinth) Every time you turn a corner you're left to feel like you are breaking and entering. For a spa that makes you reserve by time-slots you would think the amount of people would be limited but WRONG. This place is packed. People everywhere, lined up to get into each room. I should have known when I had to wait 10 minutes in the women's locker room for enough people to move for me to get to my actual locker. The relaxation rooms are a joke. Nicely decorated, but do absolutely nothing to aide in relaxation when there are people walking in and out trying to find empty space. We couldn't even get into the sauna or the pool. After 45 minutes, we had enough of trying to find an empty area so we asked to talk to a manager for a refund. To be clear, admission was $440 for 3 guests who were able to enjoy nothing because they oversell. The woman was nice enough but offered zero help and lame excuses. We were offered to come back "3 hours later because they could be less busy" NO REFUND. Save your money and visit any other spa. This place just isn't what they are advertising to be. read more

My second time coming here was May 9th & the first time I had no issues everything was perfect. This time everything was great again until my partner & I were in the Vishy shower room when we were bombarded by 5 men holding cameras & 1 woman whom i assuming they were filming. I believe a staff member was with them. They were all wearing outdoor sneakers we shceeved me out since were all barefoot. In addition to that please let me know where guests agreed to be recorded without their permission. Was this for marketing? Was this an influencer? I work in marketing & hospitality so I understand but if they knew they'd be filming they should've let guests attending that know OR so it after hours as were vulnerable in our swim suits. When you see the same review over and over, you can start to see a pattern. The birthday promotion is deceiving, and they do not make it clear when it can be used. The website was updated in the time that I booked to make it more clear that August was not a potential month to use this, but it wasn't clear at the time. And then, to make it worse, they said, come back in two days and get this promotion. They were rude at the desk and not accommodating, and it was quite embarrassing. Plus, there were probably 20 people in the entire complex for the evening, even though the promotion wasn't good because of a busy month. This was an absolutely terrible experience for me. I went on my birthday but for some reason, if you were born in August no promotion for you. It is very clean and well maintained. The staff however were less than stellar. My friend and I were seated in a room adjacent to the bar and were were chatting with another couple. A staff member came over and told us to lower our voices. We were not talking loudly or being disrespectful. Additionally, there was no one else anywhere around. If I was speaking too loud, the staff member should have came over and asked to speak with me privately. I can't help but feel as though we were singled out because we are gay. We told a manager who called us after we left and had the employee on the phone to apologize. To say it was a forced halfhearted apology would be generous. I knew what I was getting myself into. A two-for-one birthday special, on none other than the Governor's island. I knew I would emerge refreshed, soft, and sweet-smelling. My boyfriend and I got off the ferry, tense and unenlightened. Buttcheeks tightly clenched. Burdened with worries. The receptionist handed us our keys. We mistakenly walked to the cafe, where the attendants gently told us we were wearing too much clothing to be expecting apterifs. I realized we were in an immersive theater of wellness. I needed to relax. I stripped to my swimsuit and dabbed anti-aging cream on my face. I walked the Wellness Path, sipped apple juice. Made it to the cafe, where a wrap cost $24 eye-popping dollars. We lowered ourselves into the main pool (the inferior pool, as it turned out.) We let ourselves get pounded by the water jets. We hastened to the basement, where we dipped our feet into a foot bath. It smelled like Vicks. I powdered myself and washed myself clean. I indulged in the Vichy Jets. In the basement, with Latin boldly printed on the wall, I thought QC Spa had finally nailed its theme: Roman Bath House. Upstairs, however, the theme faltered. I napped and read a book in a radiation room that can only be described as 'preteen boy's bedroom.' I stepped into and out of the Upside Down Room (unfortunately no connection to Stranger Things) and I sipped on apple juice from the jazz room. I sat for several cumulative hours in all of the saunas. The sauna themes were equally frenetic. The basement sauna's theme was 'overcrowded.' The 'Sauna and the City' sauna, while finally warm enough, had an odd vibe with a Sufjan Stevens song about Chicago. I throbbed with longing for the Windy City, before exiting for a green glass of pleasant, Listerine-flavored water. The 'Central Park Sauna' was also quite dissonant. Why should patrons pretend to be in the middle of Central Park when they are in the middle of another park, and a very good one, at that? Whatever happened to 'Be Here Now'? The upstairs saunas both had entirely forgettable names, but very unforgettable smells and views. Those two saunas, for their simplicity, were my favorites. I will save the best for last: the side pool, accessible through the cafeteria, was glorious. I floated, looking at the clouds, then looking at the city, then back to the clouds. Somewhere, a helicopter brought the former President back to the city to be indicted. Seagulls and Canadian geese flapped past. I felt at one with the universe, a child, ready to accept and to dissolve when the time came. My boyfriend asked if I could breathe with most of my face underwater. I additionally transcended to a higher mode of existence in a mirrored box with a $12 tray of olives, salami, and cheese. I nibbled. I read my book. I admired my sleeping boyfriend. I people-watched. I am pleased to report that one only really needs a space heater and a lawn chair to be very happy. Lastly, some constructive criticism in order for QC to get on Sojo Spa's level: - the changing rooms had no stalls to change into. - QC needs better indoor shoes, outdoor shoes management. Why are people trekking through the lobby and stairs with the same shoes they'll step into saunas with? QC could take a page out of Sojo's playbook and lock the outdoor shoes away. - On that note, the QC complimentary flip flops were straight out of a medieval torture dungeon. I winced with every step. I felt like I was being punished for walking. - The outdoor pool jets, the four that stick out of the water, was weak sauce. Mid. Meh. It was like being punched by a dude who changed his mind and walked away mid-pummel. I need to be absolutely shoved into the water by the force of the jet. Do better, QC. - Others have mentioned the poor food selection. I say, good for you, QC. You know this is a hostage situation. You know you've got us right where you want us (hungry, dehydrated, sober, and hoping to fix that by the poolside.) Keep it up. It wouldn't be a spa without airplane food. read more

I was very excited to visit this spa. But it was a bit disappointing. I visit spas often. First, they don't have Jacuzzis. They only have two pools, and they are warm. Next,They only have cold foods , no warm food options. My salad was horrible. It's like six things on the menu. This is nothing like the other spas I go to. The food options need to be extended. Also, the cabanas are in the front by the water. If you are not paying extra for cabanas, you have to look around for seats, which is limited because most of the seating space is taken up by the cabanas that you pay additional fees for. From the scenery around the pool, it looks just like a college campus with brown brick buildings. read more

The night before, I received an email at 8 30pm saying that the spa was closed. When I called the spa the customer service was absolutely awful. They said they could rebook me. My guests came from out of town and this was not a viable solution. I ended up having to call several spas to plan something last minute and canceled QC Spa without so much as an apology from them. I came with my fiancee for my birthday in August, and was immediately blown away by the lack of customer service and quality, given the price tag of this spa. There are three main factors for this review: 1. Customer Service: First and foremost, like others here, my birthday falls in August. When I explained that it was my birthday, the woman at the counter simply told me that August was a month where the birthday discount was not valid. She did not apologize, say happy birthday or even sympathize we had come all this way. She then proceeded to berrate me for "snatching" the key for the lockers out of her hand two quickly, saying it was "rude" and "not nice." A great way to start my birthday. She was cold, never smiled, and had an air of entitlement and impersonal nature that is insane even for NYC, where people tend to be more direct. 2. Quality: I noticed that there is significant wear and tear on the spa since the last time I was here in January, with little sign of upkeep. There are scuffs + tears on wallpaper, worn down signs and half of the Dyson hair dryers do not even function in the ladies' locker room. The front desk staff also annoyingly puts all patrons in the same area of the locker room and does not spread them out, so people are quite literally changing on top of one another. 3. Value: Chaise lounges cost an additional $200, but there are a few available for free in a rectangular enclosure. The rest of patrons have to sit on chairs in the grass, which could be muddy or wet. Massages are an additional fee as well. Positives: That being said, there is constant cleaning + staffing surrounding the location, plenty of options to spend the whole day roaming and the location has a "cool" factor. It's worth noting that I shared my unhappiness with the front desk staff at the end of my visit and even emailed the manager, and have not heard from them on anything they plan to do to rectify the situation. For $125pp, you're better off springing for a place a tad more expensive like Great Jones Spa, so you'll actually have a relaxing time. read more

This place is so nice, peaceful and tranquil, The staff is very professional and top notch. I would recommend you come early for so you can get a pool bed they are first come first serve. This is by far the best spa in nyc right now. read more

Came here for my husbands birthday. A little disappointed that they got rid of their birthday deal(now you just get a water bottle) and entrance is pricey but loved how many relaxation rooms and saunas they have. Definitely recommend coming on a weekday if you can - it will be significantly less crowded and you'll feel like you have the spa almost to yourself. read more

We spent a very lovely lazy afternoon at the QC spa. After a quick ferry ride (complimentary) we entered a beautiful serene historic building. The spa is located in the old army barracks. Staff are friendly, professional and friendly. Spaces are clean inviting and smell wonderful. I'll be back. read more

First of all, the pools were lovely. A useful addition would be a cold plunge pool as it was a very hot day and all the pools were set to 95 degrees. The service, however, was non existent. It took us a while to check in. Had there been more people, rather than just one, assigned to the desk, this process would have worked more efficiently. There wasn't an attendant assigned to the locker room which there should for the price. My lock wasn't working and I had to go down to the front desk to deal with it. The layout is fairly maze like and not well sign posted. We had trouble finding the pool area. When we shared this with the manager she stated "we want you to get lost in the spa experience." I have been to a number of spas and being lost is not typically considered part of the experience. Food was delicious though incredibly overpriced. read more

So I was super excited for this spa. I saw it all over social media and was waiting for it to open. I think this spot has potential, but I was really disappointed with the price you pay and what we ended up with- or lack of. They need a cap, it's a small space and they should consider implementing a cap for how many people can be there at a time. The services seemed overpriced and since I wasn't there before I didn't want to gamble it. For starters, my friend received a robe that wasn't clean. Additionally, they did not take sizing for all into consideration- you shouldn't feel uncomfortable and have to ask for a bigger size but we actually had to run around the spa to find someone to be able to find a bigger robe for me friend, so that was the first impression we had and not a good one. The locker rooms are a little tight, you bump into people trying to change, super small spaces and it was hot in there. The pool has a beautiful view of the city- but not enough chairs so you're searching for chairs and the chairs aren't the sturdiest- we actually saw one woman fall when she tried sitting in one! There are really limited seating places inside as well so it's packed and there's no space. The food was also overpriced and bland. I wouldn't come back to this spot, the price and the amenities are not matching up correctly. read more

This place was crowded with loud, day-drinking groups of 20-something gal-pals, so I found it difficult to relax and de-stress. Some of the facilities were really nice, others were a little gimmicky or juvenile (the upside-down room seemed like a waste of space). Very little of it felt high-end or luxe. There wasn't anything particularly special about the provided shower and skincare products, and the fragrances used throughout the facility were inoffensive but ultimately cheap. Cleanliness seemed to be a major issue, the showers were so moldy/mildewy the smell was overwhelming and I left at the end feeling dirtier than I was when I arrived. In the infrared room, the bed smelled awful, like dirty hair and soured milk. Carrying around a couple of towels to place on any surface you sit or lay on is a must. It was difficult to find my way around, I never had a full picture of what all was there. I probably would have enjoyed a 3 hour stay but I used every bit of my 5 hour visit to find all of the different spaces and figure out how to use them. Sometimes things were well-labeled, other times there was just a tray of disposable cups with squirts of blue gel inside and it was up to you to figure out what to do with it. The promised snacks never materialized. I didn't want to pay $24 for a cold deli wrap, so by the end of the 5 hours I was fairly hungry. Of course the view was fantastic. I might go back on a less busy day, but with altered expectations -- it's not a spa, it's a novelty pool with overpriced admission, a few nice saunas, and expensive cocktails. read more

Too crowded, but nice experience. Suggest to visit not on a weekday. The rooms are a little gimmicky and too occupied to be of relaxation, but the therapists were class and so is the grass area to watch the view. read more
