First time ever at Forever Spa and I will definitely be back! This spa is located in the heart of China town and is in between a few stores, so it might be hard to spot initially. The top floor is for the head spa and downstairs is where the front desk is and where the massages happen. Everyone that helped us was so helpful and took the time to explain all the packages and what they include. We got 60 min full body and 60 min head spa (facial included) for 100! We have been wanting to try that new viral head spa and it was definitely worth the hype! Cindy and Lily took care of us and they were great! Although, they were not really knowledgeable about my type of hair texture (very thick and curly hair) she did her best. She took her time and was gentle, so I'm not mad at it. That's literally the only reason I didn't give this place 5/5. Knowing how to handle all hair textures is important, but I really appreciate the effort. All and all, very great spa and I'll be back to try that lymphatic massage they have!

After seeing all the viral social media content promoting this spa, I finally tried the famous $99 (cash, no tax, price) 2-hr body and head massage and loved it! Pros: - Conveniently located on the southeastern edge of Chinatown and within walking distance to major subways. - This basement spa is a huge maze. Immaculate with modern finishes. - I love that you can customize your 2-hour massage, and I went with the 1 hr Head + 1 hr Body with the talented Fei Fei. My 1-hour body massage with hot stones was incredible. Afterwards, I was taken to a different room with a hair wash bed where she gave me a full face, neck, and shoulder massage and washed my hair while I had a face mask on. The bed was cool because it had differently calibrated jets to massage your head. I loved that I was attended to every minute. Your session ends with a blow-dry. My sensitive skin had no issues with the facial products they used. - Easy to make an appt for my group and me over the phone, you tell them exactly what you want when you arrive. - Spacious waiting room with comfortable couches, ATM, delicious savory cookies, candy, and a water machine. Cons: - My gfs didn't like the continuous stream of noises such as chatting, beeping, and running water. I didn't mind it because I've never been to a spa in Chinatown that wasn't noisy. - Similar to Korean spas, they should have a separate vanity room with chairs and wall mirrors for customers to do their hair or makeup before leaving. I ended up doing mine in the bathroom. Notes - My group came on a Sunday, and it was packed and felt like a well-run spa factory. Make sure to make a reservation, especially for the weekend. Can't wait to come back!

Combo 60 minute head therapy and 60 minute foot massage for $99. A great value. I saw Cindy for the head therapy and Summer for the footwork. Both were excellent and the treatments super relaxing. The spa was pretty busy the day I was there, I think because it was Mothers Day, so I had a bit of a wait at the start and between treatments, which was not a big deal.

My family and I went to FOREVER SPA in Chinatown, New York on a Sunday after, 3:30pm before going back to Rhode Island. We called earlier to schedule but was advised it's okay to just walk in if before 1pm which we did not lol. Took us longer to walk around lol. Anyways, we found the spa with plenty of people waiting. Though it took time for them to accommodate us, they still did after an hour of wait. We had the 2 hr for $99 promotion they offered which you can mix and match with different service, which I find awesome! My husband and daughter chose the 1 hour back and 1 hour scalp massage. I chose the 45 mins Back, 45 mins Scalp and 30 mins foot massages. We didn't go in altogether but we did have 1 person each doing all those service. We were jot moved from 1 person to another, which was awesome! My masseuse-Neal was FUNFREAKINGTASTIC! During my back massage, I addressed that I have lower back pain along my hips and my oh my! He focused on the painful areas and hit every single spot. The pressure was just right and after the painstaking area he hit, I think I fell asleep lol. We then moved to the foot massage, and int 30 mins, I fell asleep 20 mins on that lol. The finale is the scalp massage, which is on another floor. The area has 3 beds, with the head shower. That 45 mins of shampoo, scalp and shoulder massage was so good, i think I heard myself snore LOL. So after the 3 of us were finished, I asked my daughter how her experience was? She replied, it was AWESOME! She was so relaxed and the massage was just perfect pressure. My husband said the same thing. He said that he feels like a brand new man because his back pain was addressed and he is not in so much pain after that experience. They want to go back for more. So things to be mindful of, while you're falling asleep or sleeping on the massage table like I was LOL, you will be woken up when that head shower passes through your face. The masseuse barely speaks english and after your back massage you change back to your regular clothes. Also, it's hard to find parking in the area, that's New York for you. Where and what should I visit next? Till next review Ciao!

Very clean and well managed! The combo of head spa/body massage ($99 for nearly 2 hours) was thorough and professional. The head spa was especially luxurious. I highly recommend a visit to Forever Spa.

Coco was the first therapist who not only heard what I was saying but figured out precisely where my body was failing me. There are plenty of well-trained massage therapists who will deliver the textbook experience, but in over 20 years of various deep tissue, Thai, shiatsu, etc. massages, I can count on one hand the number of therapists with this uncanny ability to find the exact pressure points that need release. Coco is that rare person and I'd recommend her wholeheartedly. I was sore, to be sure, but that night I slept without pain for the first time in months. The booking experience is entirely online (though I suppose you can call). The ambience is chill vibes. Would definitely recommend and repeat if the need arises again.

I had previously seen a physical therapist over 4 visits, to no relief, and never considered sports massage therapy. I booked with Vincent for my third visit after reading reviews about his ability with shoulder pain specifically. After two visits with Vincent over the course of 3 -4 months, my shoulder pain has gone away. Crazy thing is I don't even know when it went away. But I do know that after both visits I felt better circulation. Something, I can't say what exactly, but something always felt better. I did like the first two therapists and felt I was on the right track with sports massage, but I had the best connection with Vincent. One year later, which was last week, I went to see him again for overall upper body health and circulation. Vincent is professional, kind, and is knowledgeable about human physiology. Unfortunately he no longer services 34th St, only the 54th location. I recommend Vincent and all the staff at Body Mechanics.

You sign in at the lobby, then take an elevator up to the reception. I was running a little late and they were accommodating to start a little after the hour (they do mention when booking if you arrive late you forfeit the time, which makes sense since there may be customers booked after your spot). My masseuse (sorry I forgot her name!) was wonderful, very patient in waiting for me to arrive, asking if I wanted any water or tea, explaining the process and asking if I liked soft, medium or firm pressure. The pressure was accurate to my selection and she really worked on some of those knots! Felt decently sore the next day as I expected. The spaces - reception and treatment room were both set up nicely, clean and comfortable. I will say the bathrooms (which may have been shared with the rest of the floor) were a bit tight and could've been in better shape. It was the coldest day of December and my long, heavy coat was a bit hard to manage inside the bathroom stall. Didn't deduct any stars here since I'm not sure this is something they can control directly in case of a shared facility. *When I originally called to book, I thought it was interesting that they directed me to book on the website giving the reason that they'd need to take my credit card number over the phone if booking via call, versus entering my credit number online. While I appreciate the flexibility and security of passing my cc number over a website this also meant signing up for another website which usually means I'll get marketing emails that I may or may not be interested in at some point or another (aka spam). So I'm not sure if this was a persuasive selling point bc we could all use a few less marketing emails these days.

1 star I honestly…read moredon't know how this place has so many 5-star reviews. Let me be clear up front: this is not a spa. It starts with the building, which is rough- there isn't even a dedicated lobby. And the bathrooms? Disgusting. That matters more than you'd think, because instead of sheets you lie on one of those thin, cheap white towels. I actually watched a masseuse rinsing one out in the bathroom sink afterward with the hand soap. Not exactly confidence-inspiring. The massage itself was just okay. The room was freezing, and I'm not convinced Nan, who did mine, fully understood what she was doing. I would bet she's not even licensed. I booked a Swedish massage, but "a little more pressure" somehow turned into go-crazy-intense deep tissue. She also spent a strange amount of time on my legs, it felt less like a spa massage and more like the quick rub-down you get at a nail salon. If this were a budget spot, fine. But it's not priced like one. The lack of basic etiquette sealed it. When the massage ended, I hopped off the table and was putting my jewelry back on when Nan knocked exactly once and barged right back in. No water offered. She thrust the card machine at me, and as I went to pay she stepped in so close I had to actually ask her not to hover over me. Nothing about this felt relaxing or professional. There are far better places to spend your money.
