I've been a QDOBA customer for years, and this was honestly my first disappointing experience at this location. The restaurant itself was in great shape. The dining area appeared clean, the condiment station and utensils were fully stocked, and overall the restaurant made a good first impression. My mobile order was also prepared on time, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the issue began when I opened my order. I had intentionally ordered a Chicken Queso Bowl, but it had been prepared as a burrito instead. Mistakes happen, so I simply returned to the counter to let the staff know. What disappointed me wasn't the incorrect order, but the response I received. The employee who prepared my food insisted it had been made correctly and debated with me instead of reviewing my order confirmation. Even after I attempted to show my email receipt, she continued insisting it was correct and mentioned that she'd had a similar situation with another customer a few weeks earlier. That made me wonder if there could be an issue with how mobile orders display in the store's ordering system. Thankfully, another employee stepped in, reviewed the order, immediately recognized that it should have been a bowl, sincerely apologized, and remade it without hesitation. Her professionalism completely changed the direction of the interaction, and she deserves recognition for how calmly and respectfully she handled the situation. As someone who has worked in customer service, I understand that errors happen. What customers remember most is how those errors are handled. A simple acknowledgment and willingness to listen would have resolved the situation much more quickly than debating what was clearly documented on my order. I hope management looks into whether there's a disconnect between the mobile ordering platform and the in-store system if this has happened to multiple customers. More importantly, I hope this serves as a coaching opportunity regarding customer interactions. The food itself was good once it was remade correctly, and the restaurant was clean and well maintained. I would return, but I hope future interactions are handled with the same professionalism shown by the employee who ultimately resolved the issue. read more

Watch out Chipotle Qdoba is on your heels!!! My Fam has always supported Qdoba but recently I definitely prefer them over Chipotle. This location happens to be closer to home and I can quickly put in an order online and pick up. Service is always good. My order is always right and ready when I get there. You get free queso and guacamole if you choose on your dish and they have loads more options. They also don't skimp on portions. Literally the only restaurant open that day... I'm not sure if it's always like that but I was so glad they were... I had invited friends to meet up in that area and exchange late Christmas gifts... anyways, it was surprisingly good. My toddler loved their kids crunchy taco beef taco and my friends who are Colombian did not hate their burrito. I had a salad and I must say that even though it was overpriced the chicken was very tender, well seasoned and fresh. I might stop by again if I am ever in the area for a quick taco or snack nachos. There's plenty of parking its by supermarkets and a mall with lots around. It's a simple place and fast food, the atmosphere and ambiance is not their forte. Lily was rude and angry. When I asked her for a double protein bowl she seemed very unhappy to be working at the location. I was listening to my phone and she seemed furious about that I didn't hear one of her questions. She said it much louder and rudely. The servers are really friendly. It was a struggle. I felt like they would have rather just chatted with one another with masks under their noses than serve the people inside. I came in and was the only customer for awhile. I tried to make conversation but felt rushed. I'm glad they pulled their masks over their noses to serve the food. I guess if you've eaten at one Qdoba, perhaps there won't be anything to make you say, whoa this one really takes the cake (or the burrito). But I will give this place big props on flavorful chicken. I ordered the chicken quesadilla. Very flavorful. I ordered the beef burrito to have for dinner tomorrow and I snuck a bite while it was still warm, I didn't like it as much. Maybe it was because that chicken wowed my buds or maybe I didn't like the queso sauce on the burrito. OR you know when you pick up a glass and you think it has sweet tea but it turns out to be water instead so when you sipped it you were expecting one taste but was surprised by a completely different taste. What I like about this place is the agility of the staff on getting the food ready. The food was good but I was not impressed and the menu is a little concise. It is a great place to go if you don't have much time to sit down and wait for your food. They are also gluten free so you have food restrictions you can go without being afraid of getting sick. Only one word can describe this place. Perfect. It was SO delicious !! I enjoyed eating here with my family, I almost cried. Music was great , drinks were good, chips were perfectly crispy, pico was fresh, couldn't have been more happy. Even though I'm only eleven, I can still write reviews. Not really impressed, the flavor of the food was bland compared to Moe's, Chipotle and Salsarita. This was 1st visit, probably want be returning. Seem like the portion size is smaller also. I ordered a taco salad with beef tips (which was greasy) with a teaspoon of Queso it end up totaling to $9.53. That was such a slap in the face. I had forgotten all about this Qdoba until I drove by the other day. So I followed my lunchtime MO and ordered ahead using the app. My first impression when I walked in the door to pick up my food was "Why does this place smell like nasty stale cigar smoke?" And it wasn't a faint scent.... It was over powering! There is no way I could have eaten in the dining room. So I grabbed my food and ran. That being said, my meal was ready on time. I guess I was asleep at the wheel while all these burrito joints started popping up everywhere. There are quite a few of these in Charlotte now and if you had asked me a couple of years ago if something like this might have worked, I'd have said "No Way!" It's good to be wrong. Qdoba has the same basic formula as the others. As you move down the assembly line, you're asked if you want a burrito or a "naked burrito" (which is just the same stuff in a bowl without the tortilla) or a salad (again, same stuff, but now on top of lettuce). What type of meat (grilled chicken, steak, ground beef), salsa, and other toppings. I really like the grilled chicken which has a little bit of zing and other flavors to it and the corn salsa. The guacamole always tastes fresh, whether it's lunchtime or dinner time. After the burrito is assembled, grab your drink cup and hit up the soda fountain. I usually go with the sugar free lemonade, which is only 5 calories or so. They also have a small selection of beers. I can't really say that Qdoba is any better than Chipotle or Salsarita's. They all seem to have the same food and the same formula. Hit the one that's closest to you and enjoy! read more

Craving quick Mexican...Qdoba can hit the spot. It's a similar concept to Moe's or Chipotle, fresh ingredients and toppings over you choice meat with rice and beans! One thing I really like bout Qdoba is the Craft 2 deal. It's smaller portion options of some of their most popular dishes. I chose to go with the two tacos and three cheese nachos. The tacos were good, I had one with chicken and one with steak. You can add any toppings you like including sour cream and guacamole for no extra charge. The steak was a little tough but the chicken was very well seasoned. The nachos were a bit disappointing, they were layered with a heavy cheese sauce and it left most of my chips soft and wet...not how I like my nachos! I wanted and missed the crunch! Overall, I like the Craft 2 concept, the staff here were all very nice and the tacos were really good. Was it better than some of the other local Mexican joints around town...no but for quick Mexican it hit the spot. read more

It was my first time here. It's very similar to Moes or Salsaritas and Chipotle. There are lots of options of food to pick on your plate. I got the steak bowl. It was good. I wasn't a fan of the queso though. Red hot sauce was really good. Staff was nice and the restaurant was clean. read more

I don't really know what to say. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good? For quick-fix Mexican I guess it hit the spot. But I would definitely recommend driving down Tryon a bit to go to Sabor instead. We were hungry and wanted something fast, so this did in a pinch. Surprisingly the restaurant was completely empty for the majority of our dining experience. The girl was making a burrito bowl for me and only had one glove on...and somehow when she was adding a topping I requested she managed to touch the food in the bowl with her hand that did not have a glove. I love the Fajita Ranchero burrito and since I've been attempting to eat healthier, I often opt for the bowl instead of tortilla... The nachos are good, but I wouldn't get them to go because they use queso on them... If you're taking them too far away, you end up with soggy chips... (And we all know how I feel about soggy bread products... Ick.) I do think the pricing for the queso is absolutely insane in a truly crazy way... They have it structured in 2, 4 and 6 ounces and the prices start at close to two dollars... I love me some Qdoba, but I will always be a Chipotle girl. However, you can't go wrong with either. This location has always been super fast and food had always been made fresh. The manager here is also very nice. There have been multiple times were we will come in and they will honor our coupon, but not redeem it so we can use it again :-) The chips and queso are clutch and you can't go wrong with unlimited guac on everything. I recommend the chicken burrito bowl with extra corn and grilled veggies for starters. I love brown rice, but I would opt for the white rice here. It just tastes better! read more

Here was my order: Fried Tortilla Bowl with: * Cilantro Lime Rice * No Beans * Tequila Lime Chicken * 3-Cheese Queso * Salsa Roja (Hot) * Cheese * Sour Cream * Lettuce * Cilantro You guys forgot the queso, the salsa, the sour cream, and the cilantro. I was literally left with a fried tortilla bowl full of nothing but rice, 6 incredibly small pieces of chicken, and some obviously outdated lettuce.
