Food and atmosphere were great! Bartender Jazmine was wonderful, and attentive. (This is why I gave 5 stars) However the manager Andrea was totally unprofessional. An unexpected party of 50 arrived and all associates were jumping in and assisting with getting the unplanned party attended. We tried this restaurant for a group lunch. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. They offer a good lunch menu with plenty of options. Everyone got something different and the portions are large for lunch. I ordered a chicken tortilla soup because I wanted something warm with a kick. However the soup was not what I expected. It was more broth than anything. Plus it lacked crispy tortilla chips and very little shredded chicken. I wouldn't order it again but my coworkers enjoyed their meal. I was staying at one of the hotels within walking distance to Salsa's, so I decided to have dinner there one night. I love the location, literally steps away from the hotels. I decided to sit at the bar and have dinner, my first thought was to get takeout, but I'm glad I sat at the bar. Everyone I encountered on staff was pretty friendly. It has plenty of seating areas, in addition to the bar. I ordered a drink and shrimp fajitas for my meal. Within minutes of sitting down, they brought out my chips and salsa. The chips were nice and fresh and the salsa was perfect. I enjoyed the drink and the fajita's were delicious. Salsa's is a little more expensive than your normal Mexican restaurant, but it was worth it. read more

I will say the online menu said that chicken tamales were offered but when it came to a different page when ordering it said that the tamales were pork only, which is somewhat misleading. Ate dinner here on Saturday night 2/14/26. I had never been there before. It was my wife and I and another couple. Not very busy at 7:00 pm, but very friendly service, great ambiance. Good division between the dinner area and bar area no music filtered into the dining area. Restaurant was clean. Food was excellent! I had the shrimp, rice and salad plate. Shrimp was cook perfectly. We were first-time guests at this establishment, so we didn't know what to expect. We parked and went into what we thought was the entrance. It was actually the entrance if you were eating at the bar. There's a different entrance for the actual restaurant. The young gentleman who greeted us was going to have us leave and walk around the building to the entrance, though you could access the restaurant from the inside until I made a big deal about it. He then walked us to the restaurant side and showed us where to enter next time. I must admit he wasn't unprofessional in his behavior, but it was the principle! I noticed the restaurant was empty, although it was around 4PM. We were seated, and our server came to take our drink orders. We informed her we were new and had never been to this restaurant, and she welcomed us. However, she was very personable but kept getting our drink order wrong. We put our food orders in, received our food, and proceeded to eat it. In my opinion, the food wasn't to my liking. I guess I compared it to other Mexican restaurants I've been to across the country, which may not have been fair. I didn't enjoy the food. I decided to take the food home, doctored it, and it was good then. I can't say that I recommend this place, but in all fairness, try them for yourself because you might like it. Stopped by for dinner while staying nearby. Ordered a spinach enchilada, and it honestly felt like something a college kid would whip up in a dorm kitchen. The wilted spinach was just inside the tortilla, with no seasonings or flavor added to the inside. It was completely disappointing. There were eight of us here on Friday night for a celebration. Some quick and very positive comments: 1. The service was excellent. 2. The margeritas (both lime and fruit-flavored, regular and frozen) were delicious. The peach margarita was the most remarkable, as it truly had the bright, rich flavor of a ripe peach. 3. The guac appetizer was a very healthy size and delicious, with nice crisp tortilla chips The salsa that was put on the table also was quite good.. 4. The entrees all were delicious and a nice size. The corn tortillas were nice and light, as well as being flavorful and a good accompaniment to the combo fajita entree I had. One of the group had the Camarones a la Diabla, which was very spicy. I didn't try it, but proof came from the immediate reach for water glasses by everyone who did give it a taste. That being said, everyone who tasted it said it was really good, but very spicy. We had one or two mistakes with the drinks, which the wait staff addressed immediately and without question. The restaurant has a nice, friendly, neighborhood atmosphere, with friendly and attentive wait staff. Highly recommend this place. I was visiting from out-of-town. I met very good friends here for lunch. Salsas (not Salsa's?) is in the Ayrsley Town Place which can get busy and you may be challenged to find street parking on a busy evening. There is a parking deck behind that more than meets the need. Warmly greeted and provided chips and hot/mild salsas (Ah. Maybe that's the explanation for the name?) while we looked over the menu. The chips were medium thickness, still warm and salted. Maybe not thick enough for dipping into queso but good enough for salsa. I chose a carne asada because I'm still on a keto style diet (yes, I ate five chips). It didn't take long and I had a big piece of spiced and grilled steak hold the rice and beans. Delicious. We decided to check out Salsa's early Saturday evening. Fortunately we were greeted and seated right away in the back of the restaurant. The dining room was spacious, but the booths were noticeably smaller than a typical restaurant booth. Our booth also needed to be cleaned, so we asked to move to a table. The table wasn't too clean either. There were sticky spots from the last patron who sat there. We stayed because the restaurant was fairly empty and we didn't want to endure a long wait somewhere else. After finally getting the table situated, we ordered queso to accompany the complimentary tortilla chips. The queso was very tasty. Excellent flavor. Unfortunately, it was served at room temperature...not a drop of warmth or heat, which made it much thicker and a lot less enjoyable. The pina coladas were easily our least favorite out of all of the pina coladas we've ordered at restaurants over the last year. Maybe we should've ordered their specialty coladas because the standard ones were poorly made. The steak fajitas looked yummy, but they were a 6/7 out of 10. The fajita nachos were a total bust simply because the steak was so tough...much tougher than well done. The waitress was friendly, but very slow. Simple, small improvements like clean tables and warm/hot queso would have made the experience a little better. I gave two stars instead of one because everyone on the staff was friendly and had a great attitude. There didn't appear to be much effort outside of that. read more

Great place to come on a Saturday night! We arrived shortly after 8pm and was seated immediately. They have two sides to the restaurant so there's plenty of seating. The staff was friendly and gave up plenty of time to decide on drinks and our meal. She brought fresh chips and salsa while we chatted and glanced over the menu. Our waitress even gave a recommendation to my friend because she visits here frequently and wanted to try something new. I decided to go with the Camaron Diabla which is shrimp, vegetables and yellow rice. It was flavorful and a little zesty which is how I love my Mexican food. Overall I was pleased with my meal but the Sangria-Rita was too sweet and had a lot of syrup. I really couldn't taste the alcohol. Next time I'll just try the house margarita. I had a skinny margarita, in a pint glass and it was meh. I couldn't taste any tequila whatsoever. I could only drink half. Extremely runny queso. The bartender was very nice. I cannot comment on the service either---because for us, it was non-existent. My wife and I entered Salsas at 5:30 p.m. this evening, Saturday, 04 March. We were pleased to find it was not busy. About 40% of the tables were occupied. We were immediately shown to a booth, then one of the wait staff brought chips and salsa to our table. That was the last time any employee there paid any attention to us. We sat there for fifteen minutes and no-one who worked there even looked at us. When we saw a waiter bring two glasses of water to a couple who had been seated only a few minutes earlier, our patience ran dry. We got up and left. As we walked by the hostess desk, headed for the front door, one of the staff, a blonde young lady, smiled at us and said, "Thank you for coming. Have a good night." Visited last night for the first time. We were promptly seated and brought waters and salsa. The chips were thick and crunchy and the salsa was fresh. Ordered the guacamole app and it was excellent as well. I then ordered the special which is a chicken enchilada and a chicken burrito. The food came out in about 7 minutes and man was it good. Ordered Arrachera which is grilled marinated skirt steak medium rare. Tender and tasty. Comes with grilled green onion on top. One big one. Stringy but good. Comes with salad of tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers drizzled in oil with spices maybe. Also what looked like refried black beans. Best Mexican food I have ever had in any U.S. city hands down! My server was the most pleasant and delightful and genuinely nice person to deal with. Such a sweetheart! The food came out and holy moly, I see two huge chunks of roast pork on the plate with rice and refried beans a couple slices of avocado and some other chopped up veggies with cilantro. What a great presentation! My eyes get a treat before my tummy! The rice is delicious. The veggies are fresh, the refried beans....the best I've ever had. The beans actually had a smooth nutty aftertaste. Delicious! Now the star of the show, the pork.....jeeze. I didn't know where to start. I mean it must have weighed half a pound. I sprinkled some fresh lime juice on there and viola heaven on earth. I tried my best tackle the entire meal but couldn't. My only complaint was the portion size being a bit small. It came with just a little bit of rice.
