I probably eat there once a week, if not more. The Craft 2 of Tortilla Soup and Chicken Tacos (or Naked Taco Salad) fit well into my Weight Watchers regimen, so I tend to stick to that. I have not found one QDoba in the area (Rockaway, Florham Park, Morristown, Denville) to be all that superior to the other. Went in there this afternoon for a quick Mexican fix. The first employee was nice enough but when I got to the second guy in the line, I could barely understand him (not to mention that when I said hi, he didn't even acknowledge it) and when he asked if I wanted cheese I said yes. Well, I looked up and there was cheese AND sour cream on my burrito. I informed the third person on the line (my burrito was passed down by that point) that I didn't request sour cream and her answer was that the guy had asked me if I wanted cheese AND sour cream and I said yes. At no point did I hear him say anything about sour cream and if he did, it was inaudible to me. Anyway, that's not what bothered me since everyone makes mistakes. What really got on my nerves was that she looked at me like "what do you want? I'm not going to make another burrito." so I just took it with the sour cream and left (it's a good thing I don't mind sour cream altogether, even though it's not my preference). I understand that communications sometimes get lost between the customer and worker but to have someone on the line who doesn't speak clearly or understand English is a problem. Don't get me wrong, I come from a family of immigrants myself and I deal with accents all the time. However, if a customer can't get what they want or clearly indicate what they want, the business will go downhill quick. The food here is fine, it's really not all that bad. And this is the first time I've had an issue with ordering. I would only go here if you happen to be in the area and REALLY want a burrito, for better or for worse. read more

In the battle for the best fast food burrito, Qdoba does well. Choice of whole wheat or flour tortilla and good tasting meats ranks them up there with the rest. This location is in a nice newer strip shopping center near the less healthy 5Guys- but this way if you have a group split on where to eat, you have a few choices. read more

Bland Mexican Food My wife and I stopped here for lunch. My wife ordered a quesidilla and I ordered a burito. They both seemed very average and bland. I put some hot sauce on my burito and it did not help the taste. This is a nice well run clean restaurant in a very good location. l, but it just did not do it for me. I have been going to this location for many years. The food they prepare is always good and tastes fresh. Any burrito or burrito bowl is what I would recommend, paired with their chips and queso. I feel that their quality is better than Moe's and have more options than Chipotle. Price is about average among similar places. My largest complaint would be how fast they rush you through the line. It is hard to communicate and ensure the correct order when the line chef is already on the next person. If they would slow down, speak slower and finish each order at an appropriate pace I would give 5 stars. Would recommend. read more

Horrible customer service provided by the manager. I asked for recommendations since I am gluten-free & he told me he had no idea. "We used to have a chart over there", pointing to the wall, "but I guess we took it down. You should just check the app because I have no idea. I don't think we have anything that's gluten-free." I WAS ROBBED! Ordered a couple burritos and chips on May 27th on my Qdoba app. Some how my order went through even though they were closed, it didn't indicate they were closed on the app or when I searched for the location on google. The staff told me I would receive a refund in a couple days or to call. Even heard one of the employees say to the other "lets do it now so we don't forget". I called the store and was told by an employee to come in when they reopened with no indication of when they'd be reopening. Wasted my time driving down there a week later to see they were still closed. I called again and was told to come in Friday to speak with them. I do not live or work close to this location which makes it extremely inconvenient to just stop in to get money back that should never have been taken from me in the first place. I emailed customer service TWICE with my confirmation and order numbers just to receive no response. I eventually got in touch with a rep through twitter who told me they would have the manager get in touch with me which still has not happened. read more

We really like this place. Lots close and very convenient. The queso is the best of any of its rivals (Chipotle, Moe's, etc.). They thoroughly clean the grill area and surrounds EVERY day. Very impressive. read more

Confusion. If I had to think of one word to describe this Qdoba. The staff must really be authentic because they did not understand anything that was being said. The guy in front of me I thought was going to jump over the counter to make his own since they kept making it wrong. I visit this place frequently. I like the food and the service. One intangible I like is the employees are familiar faces. That means they have been working there for a long time. There is a consistency in the food preparations and high level of service because of that. It helps too I get greeted with friendly smiles of recognition. I like this place a lot. read more

1990's gringo mex. My chicken burrito had about 4 little pieces of chicken in it. When i asked for a little more, i was told double meat, then followed by him muttering a curse word in Spanish about me! The salsa was like water and I will be happy to give all my business to Chipotle for the rest of my years instead of this clip joint. read more

I met two bad employees for a night to remember! First employee (the server) simply started adding whatever she FELT into the bowl. Yes, I wanted black beans, but how did she know that? Where was my CHOICE? And she added steak into the bowl without my CONSENT, yet I wanted chicken? She seemed angry, for sure, but the other fellow yelpers seem to have the same experience of NOT getting what they wanted. To make matters worse, the change machine outputted .20 cents short. Lo and behold, enter second angry employee (the cashier). She withheld a breath and muttered something indistinct, while THROWING change in my hand. I counted the change before her, and most certainly, the amount was over. Did she believe that I looked like a free rider? I am FAR from indolence, but SHE was NOT! Will most likely not return. I have been to this Qdoba several times and have never been disappointed. The ingredients are fresh, and the meals I've had were delicious. Their iced tea is of a higher quality than I've found in many similar establishments. I appreciate the customer service I've received as well. Loved it, food was good, very spacious. Went to one in morristown that cannot even begin to compare to this one. Ordered the chicken burrito, everyone was very nice and made sure i got what i wanted. This is a good place to bring yourself and a group of friends for a nice, relaxing lunch, it'll be very fun. There guacamole was also very good, not the best but good. This Qdoba is horrible in that the portions they give are very small. This was made evident the last time I ever frequented this establishment when I asked for salsa on the side and was told to pay 50 cents - excuse me? I asked to talk to the manager and was told that he was the manager. I asked for literature showing that extra salsa was in fact at extra cost and he was unable to produce the menu, notice, etc. When I asked for his name he refused to provide it and insisted it was chain policy to not provide their names. Excuse me? So you provide horrible service and I cant even report you to corporate? Unbelievable. I ended up emailing corporate but I never received any response. I just dont understand when Chipotle is the complete opposite and tastes much better. While Qdoba just cares about profit, the competition focuses on value and service. Last time I checked, Chipotle, Moe's Southwest Grill, and Baja Fresh Mexican Grill do not charge any extra for salsa. After this experience and similar ones to this at the Qdoba in Hoboken, NJ I never go there anymore. read more

Food is good service was terrible. The girl that was taking orders really didn't want to be there. She had the nastiest look on her face like we were inconveniencing her. She offered no help to us as we aren't regular customers and don't know the process of ordering. Another woman was cleaning a section where the food was and kept pushing her cart towards the order taker whom kept pushing it back. You could tell she wasn't happy. I tried to order a tropical shrimp taco today. There were four people behind the counter and not one of them could help me. 2 stared at me not even trying to help and one tried to start making what I assume was a taco salad because it was in a bowl. I said no just a taco not in a bowl. The fourth worker started yelling at her in Spanish. She was yelling back and not one person made me a taco. I love Qudoba!!! Awesome food and their queso is amazing! It blows Moe's away!!!! I usually get the chicken burrito or quesadilla. The staff is friendly and the place is clean.
