Today I placed an order for pick up on the app to pick up at 1:27pm Clearly there are other more important things going on in the world right now. So this complaint seems silly, but I'm not supporting this buisness during this time anymore. This is the second time I placed an order for pick up and the second time I got home very unhappy with my order. I asked for cilantro in my notes, and was not given it...which honestly whatever, but you should probably listen to order notes especially right now. The employee working, seemingly the literal only employee there, greeted me when I walked in which was lovely. I work in "fast food" also and it's nice to be on the other end of that. Great job :) However...poor dude could not roll a burrito to save his life. My partner had said the same about his burrito last night. The foil wrapper didn't even make it all the way around and was difficult to consume. I realized that I was also missing ingredients that I ordered. They are hiring. They have a sign for it. Clearly the online orders are hurting in person service. There were 2 people working online orders last night but only 1 handling in person service. Line was to the door. It takes forever to get through this line. Dh likes it here so we have come by a few times in the last month and it's always the same. And if you want guac, better get here early. It's usually out by 6pm and we got the last scrapings last night. Dh likes the burrito here and I'll admit, the veggies are great tasting. We have eaten in each time and tables weren't horrible. It stinks they are out of a lot of the Mexican soda flavors. It stinks they run out of guac a lot. It stinks they take forever to serve you. Typically quick serve burrito spot. They have a variety of bowls, tacos, burritos, nachos... all the meats and fixings just like Chipotle but not as good. As you can see the burritos are massive. My experience wasn't THAT bad. We visited after shopping at the outlet mall up north and stopped by here for dinner. The restaurant when we came in was pretty messy and dirty. It was pretty empty but when we were ready to order someone came up and helped us through. I didn't have any problems with missing food items but the portion of meat they give you is indeed pretty abysmal. Other than that, the customer service was acceptable and I had no problems with them. Overall, a below average experience and I really wish they would clean up the interior a little. read more

Great food with an absolutely TERRIBLE side of logistical policy. I walked into Qdoba in Lake Stevens on a Doordash order. Man these guys have it backwards here. I stand over by the pickup area, the guy making the food acknowledges me. He has 2 customers in line besides myself so I am 3rd in line. He finishes with the first customer and starts on the second, and then a gang of people walk in as he's finishing up with the second customer. In a sane world, I would be next......but hey, this is Qdoba we're talking about. From what I was told by the employee, mobile orders and call-ins are second rate customers to the ones coming in the store. So if there are 5 people in line, and you call in your order, you become the 6th customer in line for your food....so far so good. However, if other customers walk through the door, you become 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th....etc until there are no more customers in line and they can then start on your order. I was like WTF? I wish there was an option for half of a star. I never usually write reviews but I am an avid yelp user, I use Yelp every time I want to try somewhere new.. so I appreciate every review written and would hope someone would warn me before going somewhere awful. SO HERE IS YOUR WARNING! I live in Lake Stevens and I love Qdoba. I've been a Qdoba addict since before chipotle ever came to WA so this review is not specifically against the company as a whole.. it's against this specific franchise. I will never return to this location and here is why: 1.) This is the DIRTIEST Qdoba I have ever seen. The employees never seem to care that the dining area is in horrible shape, there's also food everywhere on the floor behind the counters. The health dept would freak. 2.) The employees use the same one pair of gloves to clean and then prepare your food. I watched one of them clean the counters with a dirty rag and also physically wipe the counter with their hand and then ROLLED SOMEONES BURRITO w/ the same pair of gloves on. 3.) Once again the employees made my experience absolutely horrible. Granted, there are some standout employees.. today three men were working, all of which were arguing with each other openly and loudly in front of customers. They discussed fighting one another after work to release the tension they had against each other but "only if they won't lose their jobs." To which the manager replied, "No, as long as I'm not the one fighting, I don't care." He then looked to us customers in line to chime in... I was in shock. HOW AWKWARD. 4.) They run out of things towards the end of the day so they can eventually close early. Today they were out of sour cream, tortilla shells and vegetables.. what the?! Go to the Safeway across the street and buy that!!! Crucial ingredients to my burrito... Sorry for the lengthy review but we all work hard for our money only to spend a lot of it on food... so we want it to be good right?! And who doesn't want even decent customer service? The hubs and I dined here last night at 5pm. When we arrived we were greeted with a smile by the nice gal behind the counter. The store was rather empty but quickly became busy within minutes. As we were going through our options, they looked to be out of a lot of toppings (steak, grilled veggies) so we had to wait for the cook to prepare the items. He had to be called over since he was chatting with a co-worker and getting himself a drink. The steak was charred and tasted a bit fishy so don't bother ordering that. You'd think that at the start of a dinner rush they might have their topping bins full and the store would be ready to serve without making their customers wait. They quickly tried to move things along but still, a bit frustrating. The store seemed dirty, including the bathroom I used. The floors weren't swept, the tables were sticky and crumbs were left on a lot we saw and the pop machine was out of Coke products. When I went to pay their app wasn't working for me and therefore I wasn't able to get points for my order. I asked if they could look my account up by my number but was told no, fine. Then I asked if I could get credit for my receipt once the app allowed me to log in. That request was met with a sigh and a response of "I would have to get the manager" so I dropped it. Come to find out that I would have to get a code (provided at time of check out) to get credit for my order so that option is lost. It's only cheap(ish) Mexican food and not a horrible experience but I feel like I was being rushed and that they didn't care too much about the customer. read more
