First experience at a QDOBA, the staff was friendly and quick. Food was good, and fresh, it hit the spot after a long day at work.

I love chips and salsa and I was able to get seconds when I finished off the first bowl. My 3 enchiladas were very good & served with refried beans and something else delicious. The margaritas came in small and large and since I was going to be driving home afterwards the small one was perfect for me. The place was clean, and pleasant, and prices were reasonable. I'm sure I'll return again soon since it's a very convenient location for me.

From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding--even the cook came around to check on everyone's experience. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the carne asada enchiladas, and my husband ordered the arroz con pollo--both dishes were a solid 10/10. We also shared a regular pitcher of margaritas on the rocks, which went down smooth like water. The chips and salsa were pretty standard, but do note that if you ask for a refill, it's $2.99. One of the servers explained it's due to people coming in just for chips, salsa, and water. Having worked in the restaurant industry myself, I totally get it. The only downside of the evening was the trio dip. It included queso, bean dip, and guacamole, but the guacamole was mostly lettuce--pretty disappointing. It's advertised as house-made, but I've rarely had guac served with so much filler, especially with lettuce making up the entire bottom. That's the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, the food and service were top-notch, and we'd definitely return. It was surprisingly quiet for a Friday night, but maybe that just means more people need to discover this hidden gem just please fix the guac

I kicked off the evening with the Black Margarita--a berry-flavored twist on the classic--which, unfortunately, reminded me more of cough syrup than a cocktail. As usual, we started with choriqueso, though this version was overwhelmingly queso with just a small amount of chorizo. My husband ordered the Quesabirria Tacos and enjoyed them, while I opted for the beer-battered shrimp tacos--admittedly a bold choice for someone who usually avoids seafood unless I'm near the coast. I'll be sticking to that rule from now on, especially after dealing with some stomach discomfort later that night. While the restaurant clearly has a strong reputation and many enticing options, our first visit didn't quite live up to the hype. Prices leaned toward the higher end, and oddly, a server who wasn't even assigned to our table ended up being more attentive than our actual one. That said, the restaurant was busy, and both food and drinks arrived in a timely manner. The ambiance gives off a more upscale, modern Mexican vibe, but personally, I'll always prefer the flavors and value of a traditional Mexican spot over something that feels overpriced and underwhelming.

The beer is cold and the food is so delicious. We had fish tacos and carne asada and believe me they are not like you get from a regular Tex-Mex restaurant. These are all authentic dishes. The fish was perfectly grilled (tilapia) and had none of the crap cheese and other junk that restaurants put on it. This had onions, cilantro and chopped cabbage. The carne asada with grilled onions was grilled perfectly and came with cilantro rice, a small salad with refreshing cucumbers and tomatoes, and an appetizer of a bean and chorizo soup. The portions are large and a great value for the money. Take the time to find this little place and you will not be sorry.

I came here not long after they first opened, and while the food was always strong, they were still finding their rhythm. This time? The drink setup is dialed in, there's music playing (which helps the vibe a lot), and the seating feels way more intentional. But here's the real test for me...the place was hopping at lunch...with Mexicans! Let's be honest...a soul food spot without Black folks in it? Suspicious. An Indian restaurant without Indian families? Immediate side eye. I want the cultural co-sign...the People's Champ. And this place has it. I went with the al pastor quesadilla, and since I dined in, I added the house-made chips and salsa. Those chips are a step up--slightly thicker, perfectly fried, and super crisp without being overdone. You can tell they're fresh. Now the al pastor... I've tried it all over the city, and it usually misses one way or the other; either lacking flavor with a few random pineapple chunks, or way too greasy. They nailed it here. Great flavor, juicy without being heavy, and just the right balance of sweetness from the pineapple. It's the kind of bite that immediately transported me to the little corner taqueria in Rosarito, Mexico when I had the best Al pastor tacos in my life! Came in for a quick lunch, left with a strong opinion: Top 3 taquería in Indy. And yeah...I'm saying it...the best al pastor in the city! Period.

Crate Escapes is a dog park, offering both daily access and membership options, with tons of different beers and wines on tap. The outdoor space, which Costal Cantina shares, is huge and well maintained. On to the food - Crate Escapes knew what they were doing when they chose Costal Catina as their food vendor. The restaurant itself is located separately from the dog park area (therefore feel free to visit without a dog for no access fee!) with outdoor space looking out over the park. The outdoor eating area is covered and cool. The indoor spaces offers several tables for indoor dining. We were quickly greeted by the friendly cashier. Food was prepared fresh, but also came out quickly! For appetizers, we had the taco egg roll. This is served with a chipotle crema that offers a nice subtle kick. We also tried the carne asada fries. These stole the show and are a must get!! My husband and I shared the Rancho and Oaktown tortas. Both were very good and of large portions. My favorite of the two was the Oaktown with the fried chicken making the sandwich! We ended with some churros. These are stuffed and delicious. Overall, Coastal Cantina is a great addition to the area. I highly recommend checking it out - whether you have a dog to bring to the park or not!

Starting off with the most important part- the food. The carne asada fries- to die for. My favorite part of my whole meal. Perfectly crispy fries, topped with juicy meat, pickled onions, delicious salsa. The taco egg rolls were packed full of carne asada and cheese, perfectly fried, and accompanied with a flavor packed chipotle crema. The ranchero torta was the first torta I've ever had- and I'm disappointed in myself for going this long without one. The bread was crispy, carne asada perfectly cooked, with all the other toppings rounded it out- . The oaktown torta was also another star of the show. The chicken was perfectly fried, the chipotle crema added a nice kick, with the pickled red onion balancing everything out. The service was quick, and everyone showed wonderful hospitality. We were just as welcomed without dogs with us, but it was fun sitting on the patio watching all the dogs run around together. If I didn't live forty five minutes away, this place would be a weekly regular for me. I would highly recommend to anyone, as it's a top ten place I've ate in all of the Indianapolis area.
