The lady running the cashier was extremely rude. I wanted a grilled chicken quesadilla but wanted the chicken on the side. when I asked if that was possible, she said that it would only be in a little tiny sauce container. My cousin, who is paying, said to get double chicken. I proceeded to look back-and-forth from my cousin to the cashier hinting at the fact I was asking the cashier if that was possible. The cashier proceeded to tell me "don't look at me, I'm not payin for it" and an obnoxious, snotty way. after I got my order done. The same cashier did nothing but roll her eyes and pick up her nails while commotion was happening in the back. The rest of the staff were amazing, but the cashier ruined my experience. read more

Absolutely would not recommend this location. Their line was disgusting. There was food everywhere. They had five people working, but for some reason, I was standing at the front of the line waiting to get helped for over 10 minutes while they filled online orders The workers were rude. They used up all the protein on the online orders and failed to mention that before my bowl was started. Used to eat here often and hadn't in a while so stopped in with my daughter after volleyball a couple nights ago. While walking in, we saw 2 people run out and say something about chipotle, but didn't think anything of it. The bar was a disaster, food everywhere. The tins holding the food were all disheveled and half caving into the bar. The white rice wasn't the normal cilantro lime rice, it was plain clumpy white rice. And there wasn't much in the pan so the amount given to me and my daughter was minimal. I'm not one to complain when staff skimps on ingredients because I actually typically ask for light rice...but this was crazy. I got maybe 1/4 cup of white rice. It was like they went to Meijer, bought a box of minute rice, and had to ration it until close. Both bean options were super dry so I asked for light black beans. I got maybe 8 beans. Next was my steak and that was super light too. They didn't have many of the toppings available like guacamole or lettuce. My daughter wanted to leave but I can't bring myself to walk out after making our bowls so I paid the $22 and kept it moving. It was an odd experience given the cleanliness situation and no topping or ingredients. Like, The manager must have quit mid-shift or something and these poor employees were scrambling and without supervision. Don't order from here via Uber Eats unless you want a sloppy cold burrito that looks like a compressed baby's diaper that has been wrapped in foil and left out for hours. They also serve oxidized guac as an added bonus. They barely show any care when it comes to making and packaging your food. read more

I was there on Sunday at 10:30 am when they were supposed to open. I had several people walk through the establishment that were working there and saw me waiting to get in. They finally let me in at 10:36am . I waited and pounded on the door finally someone came with no apology for making me wait. I told the assistant manager it would've been nice for somebody to say thank you for waiting and I apologize for not opening the door. The assistant manager seemed like she was put off and couldn't believe that I was saying that to her. I'm not sure where customer service has gone, but it does not exist at this Qdoba. YUM! New favorite (and yes I finally switched up what I got) is the mini burrito bowl! It's a perfect size (portions, portions, portions!) and I ask for chips with it and I'm stuffed! I got the smoked brisket (I'm thinking I'll try it with chicken or beef next time since the bowl is tiny), cilantro rice, mango salsa (TO DIE FOR), queso, lettuce, and cheese :) It was perfectly delicious! The food was cold and the "add ons" were not included. (it was evwn printed on the tickets that were attached to our food items) When I called, I was told "I am sorry we have been busy today". Then I was put on hold after which I was told that for signature meals we can't "add on" items. Although it allows you to online. Understaffed, they usually don't start online pickup orders until most of the customers in the lobby are taken care of first which can take a long time. They need more staff dedicated to online pickup orders. Waiting 45+ minutes is unacceptable for a burrito. Don't take the orders if you're not going to pay someone to make them. read more

Always delicious food here and all Qdoba! This location, with its delicious food, has terrible customer service. Yes, there are a few very nice employees but most (including one of the managers) are extremely rude and act like they don't want to be there. Try and leave your home issues at home and look somewhat nice at work to customers. read more

You get whatever toppings you want on anything you order, no charge. Endless chips with any meal. Not sure what more you could want. Every time I've gone it's been fast, fresh, and tasty. I pretty have my order down to a science. Chicken nachos, chips on the side. No beans, add rice. Extra queso (cause c'mon, it's the best). Salsa roja, salsa verde. Shredded cheese and sour creme to top it off. Pure magic. I also do the online pick up for a group of coworkers and it always works out great. Listen I recently moved from Ohio to grand haven and when I lived in Ohio I had 2 Chipotle's in my town and I ate there all the time and now that I live here the closest one is 45 minutes away so last night we went here and I will say it wasn't bad I like the more choices as far as onions cilantro and salsas. But, I personally don't think it was flavorful enough I like my Mexican meals spicy and this didn't really give me as much and I asked for light lettuce and she gave me a bunch that I had to take out and the chicken was just a little too soft but other than that it was quite enjoyable the chips were pretty good nice and salty as you'd want. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there if I lived closer to Grand Rapids I'd just drive to chipotle but I probably will visit QDOBA again. I wish I could give this Qdoba 5 stars, but I can't anymore. I used to absolutely love Qdoba and have gone here for years, but can't help but feel that the quality of the food has decreased. In the last year, portions have seemed smaller, especially with rice and beans. Guacamole is often not as fresh as it could be as well, and every once in a while I find avocado skin in it. I'm willing to shell out the money for meals here, but I only wish that there was a little more quality control. The food is still tasty, just with a few hiccups. read more

Had diner with my mom, she commented on how empty the place was and questioned if we should eat there. She was right, I had nachos and quesadilla and neither were memorable. Considering the price of the meal, this should have been much better. My mom had a beef burrito, I noticed she only had taken a few bites, and complained it was filled with mostly rice. What I should have done is just went to the grocery store and bought the stuff to make myself, would have been cheaper and more satisfying than this. I love this place burrito, bowls, white rice, brown rice there is a fairly Healthy option. They have mild and spicier cheese sauces to spruce it up. The staff is pretty friendly. you are full when you leave. I like the fact you custom order your burrito. The pop machine has multiple options to choose and tastes most excellent they have homemade tortilla chips also highly recommended. I could have eaten here everyday in the past, but recent visits here have just been disappointing. The "minced" onions and cilantro are barely chopped, so you get long stems of cilantro in your food. The guacamole is very hit or miss; one time, it was so brown and stinky that I could not finish the burrito bowl it was in. The employees are fine, but some seem so disinterested in the their job and their customers. I hope this location can turn itself around again, because it used to be my favorite restaurant.
