Went there 45 minutes before closing, and all the signs were off. Door was still unlocked and customers were inside, so we decided to go in. All 3 teenage employees glared at us while walking in, and as we went to order they announced that they do not have brown rice or chips. Chips? We don't have any Qdoba's where we are from and at the end of our vacation we wanted to get the queso we haven't had in over a year. Disapointed is an understatement. Extremely nasty attitude from not just employees but management as well. I recently called to check on their hours with the covid situation. I was told they close at 8pm. I arrived shortly after 7p and the manager (a caucasian male) was extremely rude and told me they were closed. I told him I had just called earlier and a female employee told me the hours. His response was oh well we're closed now. Mind you there were two other customers in the lobby. Then yesterday I went in and everyone was rude. From the lady who started my order...to the next individual who threw my first item away and having an attitude to have to remake it. The one who threw the item away she was rude to my daughter when she asked for a bit more guacamole. The girl put less than 1/2 a teaspoon of in her bowl. When I asked was there more available or if they were out for the day. She was stated not now. So that sounds like a refusal of service. I wouldn't have minded waiting for her to grab some from wherever it's stored. I had a free meal on my app...which I couldn't redeem because no one knew how to do it. Yet my points were there. I really liked eating here but if that's the kind of people Qdoba likes to keep on staff I'm taking my money elsewhere. No solution was offered other than to take the survey that's on the receipt which means more than likely nothing will be done. I get things are different with the covid situation but that's no excuse for such poor customer service. I usually come here for their tortilla soup or mexican gumbo (tortilla soup w/ meat and beans and rice) which is really good - but I dont have anything to compare it to so.... Today I went and got mexican gumbo to go. when I get to the car I notice there is soup in the actual bag that they put it in. The top wasn't secure, and I thought I might of accidentally knocked it off when I was walking to the car, but after a Minute of trying to secure it I realized it was never secure. So Im writing this to advise if you want the soup you should probably eat it in or hold the actually bowl in the bag and not by the handles. Other than that - no complaints read more

Don't get me wrong, I love more bang for your buck but when the stuffings thin out the giant tortilla so much that you no longer taste the tortilla, it becomes unenjoyable. QDOBA Mexican Eats - So freaking delicious! - Mexican Near Me - Norfolk, Virginia

I use to come here all the time and I will never return after tonight. Over cooked rice, barley any meat, room temperature food.

Let's start with the fact that this is a Mexican Grill in Virginia. The fact that it doesn't have negative starts speaks volumes about the quality of food. The only thing keeping me from giving this place 4 stores was the fact that they offer combo's or include a side or chips or a drink with your food and 15 dollars for one person it's too much in my opinion for a fast food place. Now onto the food: I ordered a make your own style burrito with grilled chicken, sour cream, pinto beans, rice, cheese, added guacamole, and has mild and extra hot salsa. The burrito was huge which I love. I hate going to places like this that make you a burrito that i could have gotten out of the frozen section for a dollar. It was also delicious. Their fiery salsa wasn't really all that hot for me but I'm sure for someone who doesn't really eat spicy food it would burn their mouth. The ingredients tasted pretty fresh and while it wasn't the best guacamole I have ever have it still tasted pretty damn good. I also ordered the Chips and 3 cheese queso (stupid name by the way since queso is cheese is Spanish) The chips tasted good but it's kind of hard to mess up chips and the queso was basically velveta and their mild salsa but it was still good. All in all the food was good but like I said it definitely wasn't worth 15 dollars. They should really considered having some sort of meal combo that includes their chips and a drink. read more

Always fresh ingredients. Big variety of meats. Also, unlike Chipotle, they have quesos. Which for me is a big plus :) Staff is always more than friendly and they keep the line moving pretty fast. The only con (which only applies for summertime) is they don't have outdoor seating. read more

This is my go to location. I prefer them over Chipotle or Moe's. I like that they move quickly and the service is always good each time that I've been. The prices are reasonable and the food is good. Good day, Qudobo continually sent me Gift Card promotions. So I purchase $100 worth with a $25 bonus giving me $125 worth. I go to qudoba early December and they tell me they cannot pull these gift cards off my phone. That is the only way that these gift cards are done so they have no idea what they're talking about. I immediately complain sending an email to qudoba. And never hear back from them. Had to pay cash. Now it's Christmas Eve the last day of the promotion so I decide to buy lunch for everyone since I've never heard back from qudoba and it's the last day and I have $125 to use. Long story short 45 minutes later after handing my phone to the manager nobody's able to pull off the cash from the cards on my phone. I'm now late for work I can't eat my food none of the other five people can eat their food because we only get 30 minute lunches and I have to pay cash still stuck with these hundred and $25 gift cards that I can't use and they refuse to understand ,accept. How a company can run a huge promotion and have nobody at the store have any idea how to Work it is amazing comma irresponsible defective annoying and I'd like my money back period read more

Great "burrito" bar. Qdoba sets itself apart from similar places by taking pride in the individual ingredients that make up the burrito/taco/salad/etc. Love the smoky grilled chicken! And the rice is fantastic... way to go Qdoba. read more

Worst Mexican food I've ever had in my life. I really was excited about trying their street tacos but the guy didn't even heat up the corn tortillas, he just gave it to me raw and it was overpriced. I even had to ask for chips and salsa. I will never go here again.... the service wasn't even good. Only good thing about this place was the interior was very nicely decorated but wasn't that clean. There were half a dozen people behind the counter all standing there like they didn't know what to do when the dining area could have been cleaned and they could have paid more attention and made my tacos correct. I haven't eaten at Qdoba monthly, sometimes weekly, for over 5 years. I am a member of the rewards club and always participated in the BOGO Tuesdays. This particular location has been under new management for almost a year, and though the store front appearance has changed for the better, customer service and food quality have not. TODAY, I went in to redeem my BOGO that I earned from the rewards program and the customer service was terrible...not by the general staff but the MANAGER. I ordered a Mexican gumbo ( my favorite and most ordered item) and the employee proceeds to construct my meal without gumbo. This is completely wrong and not how it is made, so I ask him, instead of having him construct a brand new gumbo, to just place it in anothee bowl with the gumbo at the bottom. The manager then comes out ( in his civilian clothes, no uniform or company shirt) and ask "What are you doing, do you know how much money you've wasted on bowls?" I then inform him that I asked him to place it in another container and double the bowl because the liquid causes the bowl to be weak and break. He then proceeds to argue with me for almost 5 minutes and tell me how I have wasted $1.26 in bowls and that the bowl is meant to be eaten right then and not over night! And when ask him "Well, isn't that up to the customer's discretion?" He tell me I am "wrong" and that each bowl cost 63 cent and that I'm "wasteful". After he is dome talking he goes back in his office and I leave the poorly made bowl right there. You can not have my money and treat me poorly! My very last time at this location. read more

As a former employee of a separate qdoba who has worked to open 2 new locations I understand what the company looks for in the quality of their product and this location may need to revisit training. The employees didnt seem to have a clear idea of who was meant to be starting orders, I was the only person waiting and 2 FoHers went back and forth for about 2 minutes before I was helped, and then they weren't super friendly about it. I had a wonderful lunch at Qdoba Eats today. Then, as scatterbrained as I am, I forgot to pick up my winter jacket when I left. By the time I realized it, I was already back in Richmond, 100 miles away. I called the restaurant on the phone and spoke to a young lady who retrieved my jacket (it was still on the chair where I left it two hours before). I thanked her and asked to speak with her manager. I then proposed the manager to pay for shipping and handling of the jacket, as it is not convenient for me to drive back to Norfolk just for that. He offered to return the jacket to me for free via UPS, despite my insistence to pay for it. Not only the food and the service was outstanding, and very competitively priced (they even carry Mexican Coke made with sugar, not the high-fructose corn syrup one), the manager also went beyond the line of duty to please one occasional customer. Now I have one more reason to head back to Norfolk and have another meal there. This time, I will make sure to leave a very generous tip. read more

I went to this location for the first time today, and was disappointed. The food was to be expected, although the chicken was extremely hard. I was extremely confused by the staff, as they did not try to help or explain my options. I had never been to a Qdoba and made that clear. There was not one smile from anyone, no one asked me what I wanted or told me my options. After I ate, I tried to go to the restroom but the lock on the women's door was broken. GREAT food. The Queso is the best thing there, and the chicken is great tasting. A million times better than Chipotle. HOWEVER, the staff is HORRIBLE. The other day I went and some young man possibly in his mid twenties was at the beginning of the line where you say what type of item you'd like. I told him that I was eating there but that I would still like the lid. His response was "ummmm yeah ok I'm not the one you tell that to, so can you just order? Your lid isn't exactly important." and then he had the nerve to roll his eyes.
