Shockingly this was my son and I's first time in a Qdoba and we had a very pleasant experience. My son who is addicted to chipotle asked what qdoba was and I told him it was like chipotle. We made a deal that we would try one salad from qdoba and one from chipotle and see. Upon walking in and telling the two gentlemen it was our first time they offered us some samples and told us about the menu. We already agreed we would do a chicken salad bowl to compare to his usual order at chipotle. I give a 5 stars for service,however we still prefer chipotle but we like qdoba's lettuce better since chipotle changed theirs. Here's a pic of the two bowls side by side. After a dentist appointment, I was looking for a good quick lunch and ended up at this nearby Qdoba. There was only one person in line ahead of me when I walked in. I was able to order a steak burrito, which is made to order, and have it made and paid for in a couple of minutes. The quick requirement was checked off, but would it be good? I'm happy to say it was! The steak was grilled and flavorful. It was a large, thick, tasty burrito. It was a bit skimpy on the sour cream, and I had to get brown rice instead of white rice, so there was some room for improvement. Starving & walking around looking for a place to eat after arriving in Center City, Philadelphia, I came into this eatery. I ordered the Steak Fajita and quickly changed my mind. I remember is Friday, and religious obligations forbids me to eat meat on Fridays. The young man behind the counter suggests the Impossible Bowl. Plant based " meat". Moved to Philly about a month and a half ago and this Qdoba is amazing. Every time I have come here regardless of employee or time of day the customer service had been phenomenal. Chips normally salty and food very flavorful. The employees are what separates this Qdoba though and I will keep coming back. Me and my honeymooner wife went in qdoba. I carried her in my arms wedding style walked up to the cashier. They're so nice. They gave us the delicious bowls of stuff and we got chips and dip. And then we ate. It was a great time and then. I got more chips in dip. Then I carried my wife out of Cordoba to the car and opened up her car door let her in and we had a magical night, all thanks to qdoball. Thanks to the cordobagod of love cordobait's great. The first guy in the assembly line asked if I wanted flour or corn tortillas and he proceeded to warm them on some press but kept each one in for like one second so what was the point. My office ordered from this Qdoba through Grub Hub. Not only were our orders wrong and not tasty, but all but one of us got very ill from this meal. It was the only thing we'd all eaten in common. The only person who didn't get ill, didn't eat guacamole, so that was likely the culprit. First of all, their page on grub hub doesn't match the menu on the Qdoba page. Therefore it was a pain placing the orders. The food did arrive within the confines of the 35-45 minute estimate, which is about the only good thing about this whole experience. I guess the credit for that mostly goes to the Grub Hub driver though. The food was tasteless and everyone's order was missing salsa or salsas that we had some specified on the order. Other various toppings were missing as well. Then three of us later had the worst stomach cramps I've ever experienced and some serious intestinal distress. It caused me and another staff member to have to take sick time to deal with it and recover. Moral of the story is read Yelp reviews of the specific chain location before ordering delivery. Other Yelpers have reported this store as unclean and posted photos of it; I also saw another report of food poisoning. It's too late for me now, but it isn't for you. Overall, pretty mediocre. I found the seasoning to be lacking - I got a chicken burrito bowl that really didn't taste like much even though I had gotten all of the things, as one does (both beans, all the veggies, all the salsa, all the cheese)! Convenient location, moves quick like any other Q'Doba.. the people who work here are actually always hella cool. Only issues is the burrito rolling skills aren't the best :(. I mean it's cool, I just get a fork and go to work but it would be nice if they improved in that area. Either way this always towards the top of my list for a consistent inexpensive lunch option. Let's start with the food. I went into Qdoba with the knowledge that it was comparable to Chipotle. This is correct. However, it's still very fresh and very tasty. The price is affordable as well. The burritos are okay for fast food. The meat was good. The salsas lack any punch; I got the hottest one and it still seemed mild. And unlike similar chains, there is no salsa bar where you can add more spice if you need it. Beware the nachos. I was expecting yummy nachos with fresh cheese like Baja Fresh (or even La Salsa, a poor substitute). When they referred to the cheese on my nachos as "queso," I should have run. Unless the entire menu is in Spanish, "queso" means "runny cheese food product in lieu of shredded cheese." And that's what I got. I ordered what the menu called "three cheese nachos." It is only now that I recall from commercials that Velveeta is a blend of colby, swiss, and cheddar (-type products). There were pretty bad. Overall, Qdoba is not the worst place to grab a meal on the run. It's also not the best Mexican-style fast food. And it's certainly not a place I make a point to patronize. I do NOT like the customer service here. I did a online pick up and on my receipt I was told to walk straight to the cashier. One of the workers looked at me like I was crazy and didn't even ask if I was a pick up order. I'm not sure what's her name because she's not wearing a tag but she is highly unprofessional. The food tastes fine - and the cafeteria style of "design your own" burritos, tacos and quesadillas is catching on fast -but don't be fooled. It's still fast food - and it is super-duper HIGH in calories. A typical burrito has 1100 - 1600 calories. (Naked will reduce it by 330 - as the PLAIN TORTILLA is 330 whopping calories alone.) That said - I do enjoy the Naked Chicked Burrito, no cheese, small (70 cal) taco-sized torilla on the side. It's just too hard for me to "hold the guac" and save 220 calories. That guac - for fast food guac tastes muy bien to me. Also "Dan" the manager at this location is very good - he catered a small event for my group and it went well (Naked Burrito Bar and lots of different salsas). By the way - I think Jack-in-the-box owns Qdoba - I know Chipotle is owned by McDonalds. FAST FOOD - people. Eat under a health advisory. Note: In the summer they make a very tasty mango salsa.
