No one here speaks English so if you can't communicate with basic knowledge in Spanish it might be difficult for you to order food. Me being a huge food lover I have no issues with this, because I can order food in almost any language. One last thing to get out of the way. The waitress also brought two more salsas in squeeze bottles, one red (rojo) one green (verde) and both were packing some heat but not overpowering heat, great flavor. I ordered the three taco special, available with pollo, bizteca, carnitas or tongue (no thanks), with carnitas at $5.99 with rice and beans. A good menu selection is available. The food came out quickly even though there was only one waitress. Our food was brought out by the chef. What I was presented with was three lovely street type tacos full of pork, cilantro, onion and tomato. Sauced up with both hot sauces and I was in heaven. The tortillas were the freshest corn tortillas I have ever eaten. One of my guys got the Chile Relano and raved about it. Another got a burrito, it was huge, he loved it. My lunch with diet coke came to $7 and change. With $2 tip it came in under $10. And it was fabulous. El Diamonte will be placed on my "Don't Miss This Place" list. A mighty honor.
