They have the best Szechuan with crispy chicken or crispy tofu. They make each order from scratch. We also get the lettuce wraps made with tofu, it's incredible, the flavors! I was in Toledo for my cousin's UT graduation. I asked her to recommend a local favorite that wasn't one of a million chain restaurants in the area. When she described QQ, and after I read the reviews here on Yelp!, I was very excited to check it out. I arrived with my mom here on a Saturday around noon. They were pretty busy as the place is small and fills up quickly. The server, although nice, made us feel a bit rushed to order. We got the egg drop soup, hot and sour soup, black bean noodle Ja-Jung (aka jjajangmyun or jjajangmyeon) and the Lettuce Wraps. The soups are a great deal. For $1.99 it's a rather generous portion. I loved my mom's egg drop soup. Lots of egg and perfect flavor. My hot and sour soup was neither hot nor sour. It seemed like the egg drop soup with a little bit of flavoring added. I wish it was more spicy and more soup. If I wanted egg drop soup with flavor I would have ordered egg drop and added some Sriracha. The Ja Jung (black bean noodles) I ordered per my cousins recommendation and other Yelpers' reviews. I wanted to try an authentic dish that I can't find at every other Asian restaurant. I must say I was disappointed. It was rather flavorless. Maybe that's how it's supposed to taste, but I was not impressed. The people next to us got the Spicy Seafood noodle soup and it looked delicious. I wish I ordered that instead. My mom's lettuce wraps were good. Nothing special. Perhaps a bit on the sweet side. They reminded me of the ones at PF Chang's but less flavorful. If I was ever in the area again I would go back for the egg drop soup. I would like to try the spicy seafood noodle soup and the Kimchee Bacon fried rice as it was mentioned in many reviews and the pictures look so enticing. It is definitely better than your average Asian restaurant in that it offers more than your typical dishes. The ingredients are fresh. It's a cute little place that has clean bathrooms. I ordered an egg roll and beef pad Thai. The egg roll was fantastic. I believe they seem to be made fully in house, at very least they are different from every other egg roll I've had. The outside is crisp and thinner than normal. The flavor is delicious and layered. It comes with sauce in a container that doesn't seem to be the standard packet sweet and sour sauce. The egg roll was simple, but a real treat. The beef pad Thai left a little to be desired. The beef was a little dry and the pad Thai itself used some red sauce which is different from other pad Thais I've had in the past. The flavor was a little dull to be honest. This may be my fault but it was spicy at all. I didn't specify a spice level but I wasn't asked either. Compared to other pad Thai dishes I've had at rose thai and Toledo Thai (Toledo Thai is the best) I'd rank this third. It was terrible by any means but I just feel like it could be better. 1st YELP review! Visited WW Kitchen 6/21/18 based on YELP review. While there was a wait for tables I was quickly seated at the bar. Upon review of the menu I was surprised to see that Jim-Pong (Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup) was in the menu. I have not been able to find it since my go-to spot for 28+ years in Atlanta, Georgia closed last year. I quickly ordered it and was amazed how good it was. It was better than old Atlanta spot. While I did not taste any pork, the flavors were amazing. Unfortunately I don't live in Toledo, but will try to find a reason Mon-Fri next time since they are closed Saturday and Sunday. I also had the summer rolls which were good and everything else I saw looked good. My server Katie was very nice and kind enough to listen to my story about my old Atlanta spot for the Jom-Pong. But then I realized the family would have recommended it, if it was better, but they didn't. I was definitely not disappointed! We all know we can find those "good" Chinese restaurants and we tell our friends; "hey, this place is good!" Most of them probably are but if you want great or probably some of the best Chinese food I would get over to QQ Kitchen! I had the General Tsao which was hot, the chicken had a wonderful crunch, and the sauce had the right amount of heat. Then, I ordered the pan seared dumplings; which you have to order. I've tried the pan fried noodles, gan pan chicken, black bean fish, wings, sesame chicken, jajamyung, and lo mein here and have been thoroughly impressed with everything. Think fast food Asian food but better. Similar dishes but way fresher ingredients and taste and sauces. It's not authentic Asian but it's like a way better version of the Non authentic fast food stuff and it's delicious!!! I like to take home the sauce (of which is always given in generous amounts) and recook fresh veggies and meats in the sauce the next day so one meal here lasts me like 2 more meals later. And they're two more hella delicious meals!!!! Definitely take that sauce home. If you're new to QQ I recommend trying the pan fried noodles (also if you don't like seafood like my bf we opted for no seafood and extra veggies and it was delicious...veggies here have an amazing fresh crunch!) and gan pan chicken! QQ is absolutely delicious. (Just confirming, in case you didn't get this sense from other reviewers..) I've tried about quarter of their menu items and none have failed me. In fact, there are a couple dishes that I consider my "go-to" whenever I get cravings for, which in this part of town is a huge plus. It's one of those places that may just change the stereotype of "Jack of all traits and master of none," when they're advertised as Chinese/Korean/Thai restaurant. Honestly not sure how this place has a rating of 4 and a half stars. This is easily the worst Chinese food I've ever had. My family ordered the orange chicken, 2 hot and sour soups, wontons, shrimp fried rice, and the Dragon Phoenix dish. Whew I don't know where to start. The shrimp fried rice is the most bland thing I've ever tasted. It taste like it's just seasoned with soy sauce and nothing else. The shrimp was slimy and there were no vegetables in our fried rice besides small pieces of cabbage. The wontons are really just a piece of rice paper that's fried with a small piece of chicken the size of a quarter or less. That's not a wonton. The orange chicken sauce was drenched all over our white rice. The hot and sour soup was somewhat decent, I can tell they use lots of cornstarch to thicken it -- for $49 this was very lackluster and so disappointing. This was my first time visiting Toledo and it just makes me not want to eat any Chinese food from here ever again seeing that this place was rated so highly. read more

I have been a few times now and my review echoes many others. The food is very well prepared and the portions are generous. Honestly though... The clincher for the 5 stars is the way the staff treats you (and everyone else). Not just friendly, but engaging. One of the cooks and I had a great conversation while he was working a wok of some goodness or other. Generous portions and extremely tasty dishes. Even for my more conservative colleagues (in terms of cuisine), they loved their Drunken Noodle and Kimchi Bacon Fried Rice. My pan fried noodle was cooked exactly how I wanted with a delicious garlic-based sauce. What a great take out place! (They do have a limited area for dine-in as well.) They have Chinese, Thai, Korean and Chinese-Korean food (like jjajjangmyun and Jjampong). We ate there and it was kinda small and a bit hot on the day that we went but the people working there were super nice. We tried a little bit of everything- the Orange Chicken, Pad Thai, Kimchi Bacon Fried Rice, and Jjajjangmyun. The Orange chicken was just ok. The chicken had a little too much breading and the sauce seemed to have too much soy sauce so seemed more salty than anything. The jjajjangmyun was decent. It's not the best that I've had but it's not bad. The Pad Thai was pretty delish! I would definitely order it from there again. And the Kimchi Bacon Fried Rice was pretty good! Very tasty! I also went there again for take out. The jjampong was pretty good as well. And the prices are pretty reasonable. I can't wait to go there again to try different dishes and to also try the Korean patbingsoo. I've been here 3 times in the last 10 days. It is perfectly placed on my way home for me to stop and get a to go order. The Korean style spicy squid is excellent with an amazing sauce. I found the Jom Pong warming and delicious on a cold day but there seemed to be a very small amount of seafood in it which was a bit disappointing. The Chilli shrimp was an unexpected favorite. It is fried shrimp smothered with a sweet spicy sauce and some sort of crunchy vegetable. I usually find fried foods like this far to heavy but the sauce and the vegetables seemed to balance this out and I truly enjoyed it.
