7/3/19. We were a party of 5 and we were sat right away. Our server started off well but as the meal progresses she was not that attentive. Our seafood was great and the fries were excellent. My sister in law ordered steak and it came out well done although it was ordered medium. Then she asked for a second steak again medium and it came out medium well. Given this is only non seafood option; we expected the chef to know how to cook the steak. After the second the steak; the server did not come back if my sister in law was satisfied with her steak. Our drinks took a while and it took forever to get water. The bus boys seemed to not know what to do. We will not be back and lucky for us there are other good restaurants in Stone Harbor. read more

What a great place! Friendly friendly staff who greet you and keep you well informed and well-fed!!! We started with the guacamole with crab (who knew!?!? So yum) and the lobster tacos and I wasn't sure dinner could top those apps but boy was I wrong!! Sadly the lobster bake was sold out so I opted for the Pacu Pacu "ribs" and ohhh they were so good!!! I had no idea fish ribs could be so good!! Hubby had the muataca (yeah I know that spelling is off) and he raved! I had a taste and it was deliciously spicy but not overbearing or over powering. Our friends, who love paella, thoroughly enjoyed Quahog's version and we adored our fajitas and shrimp ceviche. What a treat all around. By far the best seafood around! Family and I were debating between waterhog and quahog. We settle with quahog since it was actually closer, and it was the best decision we made all day in the hot sun. Food was tasteful and service was amazing! I've been visiting Stone Harbor for 25 years. Quohogs is an exceptional place. Fish tacos, fish ribs, lobster ravioli, clams and buffalo oysters. Unbelievable food. It's almost confusing how the chef uses things together you would never think would work. But it does! The guy is a genius. Truly worthy of 5 stars. Easily the best value in Stone Harbor and by far the best Seafood I've had in 25 years of coming here. read more

The name implies its a seafood place where you can get everything from shrimp cocktail to broiled seafood platters, but the menu is much more eclectic featuring empanadas, tacos, Peruvian seafood stew, paella, etc. Not what you'd expect. That said, the food is good. We got lobster platters which were good. My son had lobster Mac and cheese which he said was decent. Service was excellent amd staff friendly. They also give you a tasty chick pea salad. Overall, pretty good. read more

I've never had a bad meal at Quahog's. The food is always fresh & delicious. Also was surprised to see they have a full bar and now serve alcohol. They even have Imperial which is a Costa Rican beer I like. Prices are pretty reasonable for seafood & the restaurant has a great beach shack vibe. Only reason this isn't a 5 star review is because my dish came out at least 5 minutes after everyone else's. Other than that everything was on point. read more

Appetizers were pretty good, and our party got seated at a nice table in the back, service was good for a beach restaurant and the cocktails were yummy. Server hooked up Green B. with some generous double Tito's and sodas. Most of the party got the steamed lobster which were really salty. read more

Always a fan favorite at the beach when it comes to seafood & byob as a dinner option. The service here is always on point -- happy people and always a great vibe. The food is fresh and never dissapoints. You must try the BBQ Pacu Pacu Fish Ribs and The Moqueca fish stew it's made with coconut milk and edamame (both meals featured on Food Network Diners, Drive Ins and Dives) Branzino happens to be a special a lot of the nights which is always great. Perfect spot if you're looking to come with a group and sit in the back porch area. A great beachside find, just steps from the ocean, tucked away on a side street. My favorite meal of the week was had here...Barbacoa del Mar & the Casado. Eclectic atmosphere & adorable dining patio...BYOB! Love the big sea salt shakers, malt vinegar & Old Bay at the tables. Every year my husband and I drive 45 minutes from our shore town to have dinner at Quahog. We went Thursday for margarita night. We ordered them up with salt and the came with ice. I explained to the waitress up meant no ice. She took them back and I watched her drain them. We ordered calamari to start. We got 3 pieces each. I ordered the clam bake and my husband ordered the moqueca stew. Mine came out ice cold like fresh out of the refrigerator. The waitress took it back and when she returned after a long time since my husband was just about done his meal, it was obvious it had been placed in the microwav. The bread that came with my meal was missing. Over half of my clam shells were empty and they were NOT floating in the broth. It cost us $99.00 plus tip. When we left I was hun and aggravated we will NEVER return here. read more

Unfortunately couldn't eat here. They failed to notify us that our table was ready b/c they couldn't copy the correct phone number. They tried to seat 7 people at a tiny round table.....really??? With several larger, clean and cleared (reasonable) tables available we were advised those tables would be "to difficult to bus." Are you kidding me? On our arrival one of the staff had complained to us of not so great customers earlier in the day...not so surprised given our treatment. Extremely rude staff - definitely would not recommend going here. If you are the owner and reading this it's time for a staff meeting. Maybe this was a tactic to get rid of some customers somewhat close to closing time (we called ahead also). Absurd & disappointing to say the least. read more

It really bums me out that Quahog's has gone so down hill this summer. The food is decent, but not as good as it used to be. The strict no substitutions rule is a bit ridiculous - getting a double portion of salad instead of fries isn't a big deal for the prices they charge. The biggest issue with Quahog's is their lack of ability to seat people on time. Reservations are starting to feel useless. Even if you do get seated remotely close to your reservation time, keep your fingers crossed that you don't have one of the tables next to a speaker BLASTING music. We used to go as a family at least once a week, but after several bad experiences this summer, we've given up. It's a shame, because we've gotten to know many of their servers who come back summer after summer. The hostesses are incredibly unsympathetic. You should put some of your star servers up front for better service. read more

The seafood is VERY good and I've always had very good service but I'd actually give this place 3.5 stars due to the atmosphere. They do what they can but to sit and sweat with these prices just ain't much fun - do consider the weather and realize that the place will be packed on the big summer weekends so plan accordingly read more

We enjoyed the Tuna and watermelon ceviche, great combination. The lobster roll was tasty and fresh. The wait staff Was attentive and mostly friendly. Several of their sites stated BYOB and we carried two bottles of wine a long way to be told that was incorrect and they have a full bar. Update your web sites and face book sites now The moqueca stew stated it had scallops but the restaurant substituted calamari which no one told us and the person ordering doesn't like scallops All in all a good place read more

Everything was great! Had a 6:15 reservation and we (my husband and 4 yr old son) sat right away. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Tables were spaced out. Food was well presented and hit the spot! We ordered the shrimp ceviche, mussels, fish tacos, house salad, and chicken fingers and fries. Drinks were the skinny spritz, imperial beer, and lemonade. We felt safe and were happy to have an awesome meal outside. We are locals of Cape May County and will definitely be back! read more

Quahog's is slightly above average for 7MI but the bar is pretty low so take that for what it's worth. Don't drift too far from the blackboard with fresh catches and you'll be okay. The fisherman's stew is good, the raw oysters are always local, drinks are fun, and the backyard is unique but the food is just....fine. Don't set your expectations too high and you won't be disappointed. OH, and don't bother to leave a message about a reservation, they mentioned there are hundreds of them on the machine and they don't even bother to listen to them. read more
