This has to be the best boardwalk restaurants I've ever been to. The food was great and had many options above and beyond your typical food you'd find on the boardwalk, including grilled fish. My children have food, allergies, and they went above and beyond to ensure that their food would be safe for them. They also had an amazing beer selection as well as a live entertainment, and great views of the beach and Boardwalk. We normally go to Pig Dog, but we'll definitely be making Joe's Fish Company a new staple of our dinners when on the Wildwood Boardwalk. read more

Lots of seating and friendly staff. It was opening day so I'm going to give this place some leeway. The waitress was subbing in from another place, and the bartender was training. Both were pleasant but the drinks definitely took a bit, coming out all at different times. I'm sure it will be running smoothly after a few days. They were well worth the wait, delicious and we had a variety including the Rum Runner and Downy Shore that pleasantly came with a cute little rubber duck on top. Some food was a little underwhelming, but I think that is personal preference mixed with perhaps opening day chef? The Crab Cake Sandwich was undercooked, as well as the app Korean bbq shrimp eeeek. However something that smashed you ask? The Smashburger, Steak Frites, Jumbo Bavarian pretzel and Tortilla Queso dip! My husband found this place and we almost turned away thinking it was just a grab and go. Thankfully we got to see it was a full service restaurant. I ordered the summer salad with a crab cake and my husband got the salmon with the mixed vegetables. We also got the bbq shrimp sliders and iced tea's. The food was delicious iced Tea's not so much but that wasn't much of an issue. I loved the salad and the crab cake was beautiful. Lump crab, seasoned well and a nice size. The salad was so light and refreshing, I would definitely come back here again. Our waitress was also very nice and attentive. The restaurant was clean and spacious as well. Moreys has completely lost it. They are completely out of control with their prices. And let's be honest, they have made millions and millions and millions over the last few decades so they, like a Walmart should be able to maintain their prices without gouging their customers but instead they are trying to gouge their customers I always liked this place and their prices were commensurate with everywhere in Wildwood, but now they have gone completely out of control. For example, on this menu a Cape May IPA 16 ounces is nine dollars, that's crazy! I get this beer a lot, and I've never paid more than 7.50 anywhere else It's shameful that they aren't increasing their prices the same as everybody else, they are probably 20 or 25% higher than this current inflation rate. read more

Unfortunately this place was very overpriced for bland food and small portions. It has a great view of the shore and boardwalk though. Great spot for people watching. Waitress did a good job but unfortunately the food and drinks were not up to par. We ordered some mixed drinks that were about $8-10 so already spendy but barely had any alcohol in it. We were disappointed as it was basically an expensive juice drink. We got food, fish tacos, crab cakes, and jumbo shrimp. First off fish tacos were $12 for 2 small and very bland portions. They had some sort of mayo on top that had no flavor. I asked for extra lime and even that couldn't save it. Fish was nicely fried with a thin batter but again no flavor to the fish at all. Crab cakes were the smallest portions I have ever seen. 2 tiny things for $23. Not worth the price. The jumbo shrimp were skimpy and definitely not jumbo. You only received 4 shrimps. I don't like being too negative, but this was the worst service at any location not just in Wildwood, but all of the Jersey Shore. We were sat at a table and 5 servers just stared at us for over ten minutes. No one approached us. We asked the host if he knew who our server was, but he didn't. We tried to be as nice as possible, but since there was only one other table occupied at the time, we just had to leave. As a local, I try to support as many places as possible during the summer season, but I can't go back here and I'll make sure everyone I know skips this spot as well. I love coming here! Don't let the fact that it is a boardwalk restaurant fool you... the food and drinks here are the real deal! Not only that, but it overlooks the pier so you get a great view of the rides and the beach! I came here while on vacation a few weeks ago. The tables are socially distant and all the servers had masks on. I ordered the strawberry margarita to drink and it was delicious! Not too sweet and totally refreshing. We split the calamari to start and it was perfect! I loved the aioli dipping sauce and the calamari was crisp and flavorful. For my main meal, I had the crab cake tacos. They sounded way too interesting to pass up and they did not disappoint. I had never had a crab cake in a taco... I didn't know what I was missing! The sauce and toppings added to the flavor and the crab cake itself was full of crab and delicious. Even though it was an appetizer, it filled me up! I think if you don't get an appetizer, you would definitely need to add a side dish but with an appetizer, this was the perfect entree. Of course, they had to be fried, but better than no shrimp at all. It was tasty for what it was, although I was hungry a few hours later. My family and I went to Joe's Fish this season and we were all impressed. They made great improvements to the menu and the service! The menu items range from upscale food to burgers. The food was fantastic. The new menu has great choices to satisfy anyone. Joe's Fish has a great atmosphere on the top floor overseeing the boardwalk. Walked by their two story patio, which was so beautiful I asked for a menu to search for an improbable vegan side at this beachfront seafood place. Much to my surprise, the gracious ladies at hostess stand brought their manager out to confirm there were indeed options. Staff were clearly very knowledgeable about dietary restrictions and allergies and took them seriously. The boardwalk salad was beautifully presented and delicious. They only needed to swap in their champagne vinaigrette to make it vegan. Vegetarian dining companion got a black bean burger he really enjoyed. Manager pointed out they have separate fryer for fries and brought me some extra as a treat. Fries were great--shoestring style. Also had a Peach Orange Blossom mixed drink, which was delicious. We had a nice, early family meal here during a family vacation at the shore! It's right on the boardwalk next to an area with amusement park rides, so it was a bit loud and distracting. But the outdoor seating was plentiful and we were seated right away. Everyone in our group got something different, and everyone enjoyed their meal! My brother loved the burger, my mom had a great salad with watermelon and feta, and my husband enjoyed the fish and chips. We came here with a party of 5 on a Saturday evening for dinner, there was a wait so we just ordered drinks at the bar and only waited a few minutes before being seated. We sat at a booth that comfortably fit out group and ordered the crabby pretzel right away. Our server was friendly and attentative even though she was clearly running around on the busy night, our food came out promptly and our drinks were never empty. The open air on the upstairs deck was very nice and the live music was also very good. The food was nothing to brag about but the ambiance made up for it. After 4-5 hour drive to Wildwood and settling into our vacation house, my friends and I became very hungry and decided to get lunch and we stumbled upon Joe's Fish Company. The place has a cool and laid back vibe. It became very windy while we were eating so the staff lowered the curtain. I must admit the prices are a bit expensive here, but when you're on vacation you need to treat yourself. I had their Unsweetened Ice Tea and it was nice, light, and refreshing. I had the Crab & Shrimp Cake Sandwich with lettuce, tomato, onion, and tartar sauce. Our server forgot to give me a cup of tartar sauce, so I had to ask for that. The sandwich was good. I really liked the moistness of the crab and shrimp cake. They used real crab meat. In addition, my lunch came with some kettle cooked potato chips which were delicious. For $11.00, this wasn't a bad sandwich. We all had our own individual orders and unfortunately I wasn't able to sample their orders, but everything looked amazing. I really liked the outdoor dining by the shore. Although the wind was blowing menus into our faces and food was a little expensive, I think I will definitely be back when I return to Wildwood. First time in Wildwood and we were craving seafood for obvious reasons being in this part of the state. Joe's Seafood Company looked like a nice inviting spot to try. Located conveniently on the boardwalk, we were seated in the back deck area. Our waiter was really friendly and got us our meals pretty quickly. For an appetizer, we ordered the calamari. It was fried along with hot peppers with a tangy but yummy sauce. For my meal, I ordered the crab cake sandwich with a side salad. The crab cake was very tender and melted in your mouth. It was a large portioned sandwich along with the toasty bun it was on. Very impressed. My guy friend ordered the seafood pasta and he was also satisfied with the dish. We then went upstairs to the top deck bar. It was decorated with nautical decor and was a great area to hang out with friends for a couple drinks. I was so disappointed with everything here. My craving for fish tacos was nowhere near met. The fries were decent and hats about it. I wanted to say how pleased I am with Joe's Fish Co. The service is beyond expectations and the food is delicious. We went twice this trip.....so far. The first time we had Joanne and she was wonderful. She had a pleasant attitude and kept checking in on us as well as making sure my kids were happy with their drinks and meals. The food is absolutely delicious! We went again tonight. Not a complaint in our group of 7 which included one person who cannot eat gluten due to celiac and another who is vegan. The manager Ed came over and reviewed everything that was both vegan and gluten-free. Roxanna was so sweet and patient with our silly group. Ed was also was so kind and accommodating. We couldn't help but compliment him and his staff again as we were leaving on both experiences as The level of service is remarkable not just for Wildwood but for many places we have gone. Joe's Cafe is a new restaurant located on Morey's Pier (Log Flume Pier). The restaurant has outdoor seating that overlooks the amusements and has a view of the ocean. The food is also very good. I had a Pizza and my wife had a pasta with Scallops and Shrimp which was excellent. The server we had was attentive and checked on us often. He made sure our drinks were full and we had everything that we needed. There is a policy that requires you to show an ID when you get there if you plan to have drinks. Make sure you have your ID or you can not get the bracelet to drink. read more

Always have excellent service at the rooftop bar, but just a tip- if you want a better Moscow (American) Mule - ask them to make it by hand. They have it "on tap" as their signature drink, but "on tap" is too sweet with too much lime juice. Other than that, this place is a fun place to be while your kids are on the rides! read more

Two nights ago I had their dinner special - snow crab legs - and within a half hour was violently ill. For two days I have been extremely ill with horrible stomach pain, upset, and chills. I believe I had food poisoning. I ate snow crab legs, asparagus, and had a glass of water. I have never in my life experienced anything like it... two times my husband tried to get me to go to the hospital but I wanted to try and ride it out. I would not eat there again, ever. Aside from my awful experience, our party of 8 felt it was overpriced. The service was nice but slow. Mixed reviews on the other foods ordered, from good to okay to did not like at all.
