I never felt like he was doing services that were not needed to keep my system in safe, clean and running at its peak performance. I've always enjoyed this place, but the new owners are truly the best! Store is clean and all the equipment is in great shape. Water quality is great! Alkaline water !!! I decided to try alkaline water (less than a $1 a gallon) and holy moly is it amazing. Not only does it taste much better but it absolutely keeps me better hydrated. I was amazed how helpful the whole staff including the owners Adrian and Shawn are every time I am there. Ever buy water from here and yet always feel thirsty? Think about it. Don't waste a cent if you're looking to be hydrated by water. Been buying water from here for a few years and never felt like I was getting hydrated, always thirsty. Well, the reverse osmosis process strips out all the minerals from the water and we need essential minerals. Talked to Central Water district and they said they test their water and because they source the water from several feet below, the water is enriched with minerals and very clean. Was staying at a friends house and they use this water. We thought it would be nice to go fill up the water for them. There is ample parking and ample spigots so 5+ people can be filling up at the same time. The whole concept seems pretty intense with all the filters. The water itself seemed fairly priced, however, I forgot the caps to the bottles and a 1.5 inch cap was .75 cents each. I asked if they delivered they said no. I love getting my water here! The water is very clean and fresh, and much more economic than using water delivery services! I am saving close to $60 a month on my water bill. WOW! This place is great! Tap water is poisoned with industrial chemical waste and we should all know that by now, the documentaries and information are there if you look... I checked the tap water at my house last week as my shower water recently has smelled like chlorine (gross!) Guess what I found everybody... The Capitola tap water registered 450 parts per million(ppm).. 450ppm!!! (The legal federal regulated limit / shutdown of public water supply is 500 ppm last I checked) So basically our Capitola water is so poisoned that were 50 ppm away from being federally mandated to shut down our public water due to massive contaminants... Thanks a lot Santa Cruz county / Capitola... Wtf? I checked quality water with the same device and it register at 4ppm. That's right, only FOUR parts per million. I feel confident drinking this water and providing it for my family. All you have to do is try it once and you can taste the chemicals have been removed and you are drinking pure water. Scott, Diane, Justine and Santana get 5 stars for being so positive and helpful every time I'm there. Not only that, they completely understood my tests and helped me understand how they combat those contaminants... Then, just when I think it can't get any better, I look over to see their gorgeous and loving dog happily resting on his bed. This was the cherry on top and I decided that moment I will be getting all my water from this loving dog friendly water store full of great people and clean, water at only 4ppm! Even my African violets thrive on this water. I go weekly to fill up my 12 gallons and don't understand complaints about staff or sweet old Bentley who is there only occasionally. Diane and Scott are super friendly, they gave me a sample to try first and long story short, I'm all set up at home with my purified water and my coffee taste better, my water taste better and they even have BPA free containers. If you suffer from allergies and/or asthma - this is NOT a good place to be. As a business that caters to the ingestion of water, the owners keep their pets in this area. I'd love to know what the FDA says about this. (I like to pay ahead for my water, and with the previous owner had established an account. ) But the new owners have dogs running around, I did not feel it was in my best interest to keep my account open. I do have asthma. The owners refused to give me the full amount they owed to me. The female owner was snide, boarder line hostile during this conversation. The male owner just simply stared at me.
