Hired quantum for a move and the whole process was great! Solid communication, with great pricing vs other local movers. George, Oscar and Aliberto (I believe was the third) were careful yet fast, they didn't drop or scuff any furniture or walls, they had carpet covers for walking on (moved in a big rain storm) and were good about making sure everything was where we wanted. They doubled checked before leaving that we didn't want anything moved once it was set to be sure we were happy. Highly recommend! The whole process was smooth and dependable end to end, with Dan and Stephen at first doing a video walkthrough and advising us on crew size / time / cost tradeoffs, and later with their Operations team. The moving crew showed up early, before we were ready, and were totally fine waiting a few minutes while we got ready. They were among the absolute best crews we've experienced. The were so easy to work with and were careful and respectful of our belongings, houses and needs, and worked very hard and non-stop and had our packing and move done in less time than we'd imagined. They were happy to work with our labelling system, and placed literally every box and item exactly where we wanted them, which massively minimized our post-move unpacking work. Best movers I've ever used. This review is long overdue. They helped me move out of a 3 story condo which was a challenge in itself, but the stairs up and down are not very wide. With that being said, they were gentle with all of my things, they protected everything that needed to be protected from damage, and they were able to move everything seamlessly without any scruffs on walls and nothing, absolutely nothing was damaged in the move! Top notch moving company, my wife and I used them for the second time in 3 years recently. We used them for a local move, and had Quantum pack our boxes. Were reliable and on-time with the in-person quote, efficient with the packing and moving day, and easy to work with. We recently moved from San Mateo to Redwood City and reached out to to three companies for quotes. Quantum came back solidly in the middle with a professional proposal. The owner Dan came to our home, assessed the amount of stuff we had and provided a free estimate with a not to exceed amount. Day of, movers arrived and quickly got to work loading the trucks, take care with our furniture, wrapping so it wouldn't get damaged and getting everything on the truck in an efficient manner. They even moved our grill, flat top and my heavy potted plants from the backyard with care! The movers were respectful and took care to not cause damage at either home. I moved my 2 bedroom home last weekend, and it went exceptionally well. They called to let me know they would arrive in 20 minutes. They had a truck with more than enough room. They wrapped my furniture, loaded everything, disassembled and resembled everything with no problem. I moved to an older home with kinda narrow doorways. There was a little concern about my couch fitting through the doorway but they figured it out. Whew! I had color coded my boxes (tied different colored yarn around them to indicate kitchen, living room, etc and whether upstairs or downstairs). They put all the boxes in the right rooms, asked me about un-yarned boxes... Just really conscientious. It was a really smooth move. As many other reviews have stated, Dan and his team are excellent to work with. I had to move from SoCal to NorCal and Quantum had the best rate out of nearly everyone I talked to. They are upfront about their rates, and there are no hidden fees. Dan will also answer pretty much any doubts or questions you might have in a professional manner. On the day of the move, the driver actually arrived 30 minutes early and got to work right away. All big furniture items were safely wrapped to prevent damage and transported (up 2 flights of stairs too). The wardrobe boxes (included with your rate) were also a huge plus, since you basically just leave your clothes on the hanger and put it in the box (they give you 6 but I only needed 2 for about 40 hangers). My belongings arrived on the truck the next day, and the driver (Don) actually called me 1 hour before just to give me a heads up that he was on the way. I was moving from a house to an apartment complex and that was no issue for Don and his helpers (the truck was parked on the street and they had no issues moving my belongings to the 5th floor of my apartment complex). One last thing I should note is that they technically don't work on Sundays, but Dan made an exception for my move (since I was working on Monday) which was much appreciated. I cannot recommend Quantum enough for anyone who needs affordable, reliable, and professional movers. read more

Moving is a crazy and stressful event, but I can tell you after hiring these guys, that you don't need to stress about what you hired them to do. We moved 400 miles and exactly one thing (that was already cracked) broke. 3 bedrooms worth of stuff. One (already) broken item. That's a win. We packed everything and they executed the heavy lifting, driving, and personnel. They told us a price and a maximum ceiling and they not only stuck to it, but came in well under the cieling after we needed a couple of last-minute services (like boxing up big plants and what not). I've heard horror stories of other people's moves with different companies: Missing bits, broken valuables, movers that double the quote and won't leave til they're paid. NONE OF THAT with Quantum. They're honest, thorough, helpful, very nice, fast, reliable, and careful. They weren't eaxctly the cheapest option, they weren't close to the most expensive either, but they 100% live up to the great reviews. They're worth it. They got the personnel. Go Quantum. We moved during pandemic and dan scheduled a remote walkthrough of our house to give us a quote which we thought was fairly reasonable. The movers called us the day before to confirm the arrival window and gave us a heads up when they were an hour away from the house. The movers were incredibly efficient, professional, and friendly on both pick up and delivery of our items. My wife and I felt at ease knowing that our possessions were in good hands as we watched them pack and load our items. During the move, one lamp was broken and the mover told us immediately and to talk to dan about a reimbursement. I was very surprised as everytime something was broken during other moves, the movers always covered up and hid the broken item. I wish we could hire dan's team for every move we've had. read more

We hired Quantum Moving for a long distance, 1 bedroom apartment move. We communicated directly with Dan, the owner, who offered quotes quickly and was accommodating when we needed to change our original move date. We had two movers help us who were professional and insanely efficient at packing all of our items tetris-style into their truck. None of our items were damaged, and the job was completed quickly (2 hours loading + driving time + 2 hours unloading). The only slight hiccup was that the movers did arrive 45 minutes late, but they were extremely apologetic and explained that they had the wrong address/incorrect phone number for me.
