I had a rare Tuesday off and decided self-care was in need. I drove by Quarry Nails and asked if they accepted walk-ins. They were very kind and help asked what services I was looking for, gave me pricing and said select a color. Before I knew it, I was in a chair getting a pedicure from Van and dip nails from Snow. Don't go here! I had a bad experience a while ago but thought to give them another shot. The tech took forever and she only used a nail cutter to cut my nails and didn't smooth out with a file. I didn't realize until I went to bed and got between the sheets that I realized they were jagged and caught the sheets. lol really? They didn't paint my whole nail either and she cut it uneven and there is still dead skin. $42 dollars wasted. read more

I've come to this place twice, and the first time I didn't have any complaints. My most recent time, I got a solar fill on my real nails which costed $45 and was charged $5 extra to file the top coat off before doing the fill??? Which should be done automatically, when getting a FILL. Never mind the fact that the $45 doesn't include anything but the fill, no lotion, no cutting of the cuticles, NOTHING but the fill. My pedicure was okay I can't complain too much about that, but the prices here are just outrageous for what you actually get in the service. Never mind the fact that when you ask for something, you feel scolded or like the topic of conversation once everybody looks at you. Nail shops used to take care of people when it comes to getting fills. Now it's nothing but the fill, 10/10 just don't recommend coming here. Find a spot that's going to take care of you and give you more for your money. Just don't come here. read more

My family & I have been coming to quarry nails for awhile now and everytime we come we love because they are good at what they do, very kind, very quick but also does a great job. However today I went in with my sister to get pedicures and we decided lets do our nails so we let them know. I have my four month old baby with me because I have nobody to watch her & wanted to do some self care. Quarry nails made a big deal about it and made me feel like my baby was an issue and nobody could accommodate me. Had a pedicure scheduled for myself and my husband. After the pedicures, I went into an appointment for my nails. My pedicure had enough time to dry. Later that evening, I looked down at my toes and both big toes were chipped, and the nail polish had bubbled. There was an hour between finishing the pedicure and walking out after my nails. They even walked me to the manicure station. I called them when I got home and asked them to repair the nails in question. They told me it was my fault and that I had not waited long enough to leave. Did not have a good experience here. I don't know how they have good reviews? From giving out free drinks? Well I don't care about free drinks. I care about good service and they don't have that here. The employees that helped me were very rude. I don't speak their language but I do speak body language. When asking to show a little more attention to my toenails I can see you talking smack about me to the employee beside you. Then they charge an arm and leg for services you can get somewhere else for a LOT cheaper. I do NOT recommend this place unless you want to feel very uncomfortable, and wait for an hour before they get to you. I should've just went to the ghetto nail salon in Walmart if I knew I was getting this kind of service. read more

BEWARE of this place, they'll rip you off,!!! I was in San Antonio recently for vacation, i had acrylic nails and hated them. I found this place, messaged them on Facebook, asking what would it cost to to have the acrylic nails removed and a new set with gel put on, they told me flat out $48. I said great, made an appointment and came in couple days later. So am there for an hour and Ken did my nails, was it him who quoted me, not sure but willing to bet it was him! So I go to counter to pay and was told $60 ( that's not including tip) would be the total, uh really? I told them in messenger, saying while my nails looked good, I was however angry they told me $48 and when i went to check out, they charged me $60 and that was dishonest and not good for their business when they lie to customers, so beware ya'll! read more

My daughter also had a shellac manicure by leslie a little pampering for spring break. Love the atmosphere and they have a great new area for parties. Update 4/29/19: a month later and my nails are still great no chips or lifts just a bit grown out. Let me preface that the only reason this place is getting 3 stars is because the lady who did my moms nails did an amazing job and took her time, so thank you Mia for doing that. Now, let me say what MY experience was. First off, I came for a classic mani and pedi and I was taken to a pedicure chair right off the bat. The lady starts my water, she asks me to put my feet in, and we're on a roll right? Then all of the sudden a customer walks in and my lady goes "oh I'm gonna do her nails instead" and just starts grabbing all her stuff and takes the plug out of the water bowl and just walks away. So my mom's nail tech, Mia, is working on my mom's feet already while I'm just sitting with my feet in an empty tub. Ten minutes go by with other nail techs pointing at me trying to tell other people to come do my nails. So that really irritated me. Finally some lady comes over and starts my feet and immediately she starts literally RIPPING the skin off of my toes. She cut me then just put my foot in the water thinking that I wouldn't see it even though I felt her cut me . My nail tech rushed through the whole thing and I somehow got done 15 minutes before my mom did. So my mom and I got the same exact thing and I somehow started 10 minutes after her and got done 15 minutes earlier? She had a whole 25 minutes more time that I didn't receive? And my nails show it too, they look terrible! Overall, I was extremely upset when I left, and the only reason I am giving this three stars is because Mia did such a good job with my mom. However, I am never coming here again. read more

Got charged 60 dollars for a fill this morning after waiting 15 minutes with an appointment. I wanted an easy fill, no broken nails and I requested no polish, just clear coat over dipping powder. The nails themselves came out great but the price was a total scam and I could not believe the price when she told me. Their website said 40 for the service I requested. Never again. read more

I went in for my first dip ever - the dip itself was gorgeous- but when I went back in to have the dip removed it was evident that the power tool they used to prepare my nails for the dip was used poorly and removed substantial nail. And I have thick nails! I'm scared to think what would happen if someone with naturally think nails had the same damage. I asked one of the people in charge about the damage. But just just kept telling me wherever I had it done it was done wrong. It took me telling him several times I had them done here before he offered a soft almost inaudible "sorry" - no offer for compensation for having paid for my nails to be damaged- it's hard to see in the photos - but my nails are very clearly damaged and thinned. I'd give 2 stars - the dip was gorgeous- but failure to take ownership when something goes wrong is unconscionable. read more

My technician recently moved to this location. Her name is Brenda. I have been with her for 25 plus years. She is wonderful.

After our encounter with the manager about a missed appointment, Ill be getting my nails done elsewhere. We scheduled an appointment for 3pm. The matriarch of the family was forgotten and ignored. After waiting almost an hour to be serviced we decided it was time to speak up. The manager basically stated there wasn't a tech available for her. She would have to continue to wait for one to become available. Apparently making a reservation is pointless as they do not honor them. We will not be returning to this salon! Management needs to see this as a retraining opportunity and a take a lesson in customer service. Do better at honoring your appointments. read more
