Service is great, owners are fantastic. Highly recommend especially the hidden back room The Hat. It has private games and you get your own bartender. They also regularly do live music in the DLC! Super excited for the Coheed and Cambria event they have coming up! If you love video games and music you should be hanging out here!

This place is like a walk in the past with the arcade. We didn't eat anything but we played video games from the 1980's including centipede, I made the top five twice and I haven't played in years. The service was really good. At one point someone dropped a glass, the staff had it cleaned up immediately. Very impressed! The atmosphere was kind of chill, but we were there around 4 in the afternoon. I'd love to check it out on a Saturday night. Maybe I will and report back. Thanks for reading my opinions

Had an amazing time here with my training team. It was so much fun to go back down memory lane and play my fav arcade games. I was killing them a skew ball until they tired me out. I was also hyped up by the deep cut old school 90s hip hop that was playing during my visit. I actually didn't want to leave but my team was searching for a club to go to on a Thursday night. They didn't find one. Oh yeah, big up to the bartender for the very COLD and delicious Halloween cocktail.

This was such a fun bar! Easy access to Quarters and quick service. Definitely recommend for some late night fun

Genius dive bar setup for the typical millennial nerd! I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Quarters Downtown. Great selection of arcade games from the 90's, 00's, 10's and a few modern ones as well. Large collection of pinball machines, that filled the entire back wall. Most games were perfectly priced, and kept you having fun for hours! A few draft beer options and some fun cocktails created in-house.

We came on a weekday evening and had a blast. Spent $20 and that lasted over 2 hours playing whatever we wanted. We did not get drinks or food, but the vibes were very retro arcade which as awesome.

Don't ask me what this drink is called because I already forgot what the bartender said LOL

Cool spot to kick it with your squad. I went on a Sunday night with a party of 5. Chill vibe from staff and a couple patrons that were nice enough to say hello and help me get my quarter back from the broken skeeball machine. This place has a variety of games - pinball, arcade, skeeball (2/3 wasn't working and I didn't want to try the 3rd), board games, video games and card games. Quite a few places to sit and play or have a conversation over drinks. There is no food sold here, but there is a vending machine if you're snacky before getting something to eat after your gaming. The bar serves mainly beer and light canned drinks. The bartender made me something that was in between sweet and boozy. It was good as was my La Croix and vodka soda. Definitely would come back here and lose more quarters to games I thought I was good at LOL

Wasn't sure how I'd like this one after frequenting the other quite a bit but I was pleasantly surprised! Parking is a little weird but after 8p you can park on the street without paying. The entrance is so fun! They have a coat check with us so nice especially now that the weather is getting cold and you might have to walk from parking. Lots of games! Only found one that was out of order. Amazing drink choices!!! Vibe was fun! It's super dark and loud in there though. They also have a band area near the back so it was VERY loud in that corner. Thankfully it's not the popular games. Didn't have to wait much to play games, seemed like most people were there for the drinks and to socialize. They have an ATM so you can get cash for your quarters. This one is only one level unlike the sugar house one but it's still awesome! My date spilled his drink cause he set it on one of the games. The bartender was sooooo nice!!! She gave him a new one even though it was his fault. They do have tables around most of the games to set your drink down. This one didn't but we should have moved one over. Can't wait to come back!

This place is so much fun! There's so many arcade games that will definitely put a smile to your face. From pinball machines, skee balls, fortune reader, to the joystick and button mashing machines, you'll find some nostalgic moments that will remind you of child hood. I really found myself stuck playing the teenage mutant ninja turtles and the simpsons arcades. There's a bar with a variety of beers on tap and bottles. I ended up drinking their pineapple bottom shots at $6 and those will secretly creep up on you. There's not really a food selection as they have pop tarts, trail mix and vending machine food. There's plenty of places to eat around the area so check those out. It's located in the basement so it's SUPER hot and SUPER crowded. People aren't wearing masks or socially distanced so beware and enter at your own risk.

Danny the bar tender was amazing! I loved the special drink he made ! He has amazing ideas for drinks and was genuinely funny and charismatic. It was really fun playing the pin ball machines and I loved the vibes. The little haunted maze outside was an adorable touch!

    Skeeeeee ball! $0.50 a play!

I don't get out to bars much with two little kids but the scene has changed! I am so happy to have been able to go to Quarters! We used to wonder when SLC would get a barcade- hooray! This is divey and dark and perfect. Large assortment of pinball machines and video games and even a few spots to sit and chat. Happy to have stumbled upon this spot.

I really wanted to leave because it was taking too long just to place our order for drinks, so that was already a red flag for me. As soon as I told my husband let's get ready to go, the server came to take our drink order. I should have gone with my instincts then and left. The reviews were good at this restaurant so we wanted to try it out. It took a while for us to order our food after ordering our drinks because the waiter just took a long time--no surprise there. Once we received our food and the food arrived, upon sight I could tell my crawfish etouffee wasn't going to be good. I eat this meal a lot and I could tell by the color of the roux that I wasn't going to enjoy it, but I remained optimistic. You know looks can be deceiving! What I did not expect was that the food was going to taste as awful as it did!!! It was almost to the point where it wasn't edible. I probably took a few bites and didn't touch the rest. I gave my husband some and he said it wasn't good at all. The alligator cheesecake was such a cleaver idea and cool concept, but it just didn't taste good either. I hate to say this, but I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

After traveling all the way from California to Chicago, being rejected at the entrance because my ID was expired felt beyond outrageous and unreasonable. I am 52 years old and clearly look my age. If I were a young person trying to enter underage, I could understand the concern, but that was obviously not the situation. At what point does common sense matter? Does an 80-year-old also need to prove their age to sit down and eat? I was perfectly legal to dine at this restaurant, and instead of being treated with understanding, I was turned away. What disappointed me most was the stubbornness and lack of empathy from the person at the entrance. A restaurant experience begins before the meal, and unfortunately this experience left me feeling frustrated, saddened, and unwelcome. It is disappointing when people cannot see beyond rigid rules and use a little human judgment.

I had high hopes for locally brewed beer and Asian cuisine, but nothing really hit the mark. Beer was okay. Lukewarm, and decidedly not crispy nor refreshing. Our group was three and we tried a lot of the food on the menu and nothing really hit. The pickled cucumbers were good. The dumplings (which we were told by our server are handmade) were genuinely flavorless and the wrapper was way too thick and chewy. We tried the pork buns as well, same issue, a serious lack of flavor and seasoning. Pork belly entree was middling, just a flavor profile that didn't work. I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was fried crispy but the sauce and toppings were unmemorable and lacked any kind of punch or umami to speak of. It came with a side of food service fries, which were crispy but served with plain old ketchup. Oh by the way everything is expensive. Starters were $15+ and most entrees, including noodle soups were $20+ which is crazy. Cocktails were $18 and no wine pour less than $16. The only thing cheap is the beer which makes sense because it was mediocre at best. Server brought the check, said "no rush" and then we waited while he sat three tables, brought drinks for three tables and took two food orders. After 15 minutes I took the bill to the till and had him run it in front of me. I still tipped because I'm not that person. Not going back, there's better beer and Asian food elsewhere.
