I love coming here. Since I moved to the Salt Lake Area, this has been one of my favorite places to come to. The vibes are great and feels like a classic 80s with a touch of modern day. And they have good priced drinks and food. This location is so much better than the downtown location. Floors aren't nearly as sticky and I find the games here to just be better and more fun. Always enjoy a good arcade bar and hope they can somehow get another location down south in the growing Daybreak Area. read more

Took a stop here at the Sugarhouse Quarters bar, and it was an unforgettable night. Getting there was a breeze, they were open late and offered easy parking behind their building. As soon as you enter, you are bombarded by neon colors and lights, bumping music, and the echoing of people losing or besting their friends in Mortal Kombat. The arcade offers classics and digital newcomers that anyone can hop in and try. There are multiple coin machines, and the games are on average, 1-2 quarters to play. My girlfriend and I were able to find games we could comfortably compete in, and there were also games to elevate the pressure as well. As a nerd at heart, this place really hit deep in my soul for what was presented. My favorite thing was definitely the Metal Gear Solid being projected onto the wall. Overall, the arcade provides a hideout, almost a saloon or speakeasy for games. Invite your family, friends, or coworkers to let loose and be a kid again. The best part is there's food and drinks to enjoy; it's definitely better than the stuff we were used to in Arcades as a kid. read more

There's pinball machines everywhere!!!! Unlike the other quarters in downtown, this location in sugar house is much cleaner, not crazily busy, and the line for the bar is usually only about a 3 minute wait either 2-3 people in front of you. The bartender can do better with pouring beer though. I had a ton of head starting at the bottom quarter of the glass. I had to wait a few minutes before I can enjoy it. Pinball machines range from $0.50 for game or $1.00 for 3 games and some newer ones wanted $2.00 for 1 game. I stuck with the old school ones since they were available and I'm trying to get the most out of the $10 bill I made change for. There's still 2 level is play and there's even more pinball machines upstairs! They got some nostalgic games like Mario bros, pac man, basketball hoop, skee ball and Mortal Kombat, but I didn't see Street Fighter which was my jam back in the day. read more

My fav single player game was the one where you have to move a ball towards different holes without making it fall into other holes (it's in the first floor near the stairs). Such a cool place!!! The decor in here is so fun! 2 levels!! When I first got here I was a little disappointed there weren't more games but once that competitive nature kicked in... it was a blast!!! Upstairs is all pinball and the old arcade games! They have the old duck hunt too! I was also a little sad the food menu was so small but it's since grown! They also do special nights where there's food trucks, movies, etc! Such a better alternative to Dave & Busters, especially since you can drink AND play!!!! Try this place out! The business community on 2100 S has been bombarded with construction projects and the rerouting of roads and a lack of parking for going on two years now. It's been tough out there, so being that we live in the neighborhood, we decided to go throw a little money around and found ourselves at Quarters. First things first: for folks of a certain age, you will feel a giant wave of childhood nostalgia when you see the video games available for play. Galaga. Donkey Kong, Pacman and so many more. It was like going back in time and for a little while, I was certain that my dad was going to yell at me for wasting money on games. My wife is a playah in all things video games and the gap in our ages means that I am a fierce Skeeballer from my hooligan days haunting the Lagoon midway in the late 1970s. She schooled me in several games and destroyed me at multiplayer Pacman. However, I did have one trick up my sleeve and I played it when I hit the high score on Galaga. I don't know why I can play that game, but it's my jam. The place has parking in the back, which is a truly rare amenity for Sugarhouse and it was appreciated. The decor is fantastic, but you don't care too much because of the incredible display of games, pinball machines and their associated noises. You just want to play. We were there a couple of hours, had a few ranch water cocktails and played a multitude of games. Damage was light! $10 let us play many games and the cocktails were around $6 each. The ladies at the bar were quick and friendly and the venue, especially the bathrooms, is top notch. I'm told the food is good, too and next time we will sample one of their pizzas or maybe hammer some nachos, but on this night, our inaugural visit, it was all about the games. Darken the door at Quarters! Light up the bonus on the Iron Maiden pinball machine! Go multi-ball on Labyrinth! Take Ivan Iron Man Stewart to the checkered flag! Put a little money on the streets of Sugarhouse. It's solid entertainment and a cheap way to live your childhood. Galaga forever! read more

We visited Quarters on Friday night, and it was busy! We had fun playing Pac-Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mario Bros, Skee Ball, and other games. There are two levels, with arcade games on both, and the pinball games upstairs. Be aware that there's limited seating at Quarters, but there are some large booths upstairs. read more

Really can't say enough good things about this spot. It's exactly what Sugarhouse needed. I'm already a big fan of quarters downtown, and really applaud that they didn't just carbon copy that vibe for this new spot, but made something that felt like a really great fit for this space and has a personality all its own. The games selection is great (some of their pinball machines you won't find anywhere else for 1k miles), the bartender skills are on point, and please let me emphasize this - the food is AWESOME!! Tried numerous things on their menu and consistently blown away with the quality and creativeness. We've legit grabbed food to go more than once. It's so clear that ownership really cares about creating something special so do yourself a favor and just go check it out for yourself. read more

I love the casual vibe of Quarters in Sugarhouse--it's very fresh and open compared to the SLC location. They have a variety of cabinets to play and it's super fun for a small group of friends (or by yourself). Honestly, there isn't much that beats sipping on a drink and some friendly fire! The bartenders are super kind and easy to talk to as well. Overall, I enjoy my visits to Quarters and would wholly recommend this bar for folks looking for a fun evening out. read more

Quarters number 2 is rad and a huge space that makes it awesome for playing multiple games with multiple different people. I forever love quarters. I was there number 1 fan when they first opened the first location. So glad I have another fun watering hole and arcade for adults I can go to and hang out at. OH! The drinks are good and the food is tasty. They have a good selection of games and pinball machines, but you've gotta know that you can pour money into those things, so be careful. The staff are cool and friendly. The vibe is so fun and cool, there's something for everyone. Highly recommend. read more

I'm so disappointed. This is not like the down town location. The cocktail menu is extremely limited (even compared to down town). And the availability cocktails aren't great. I was embarrassed to take my friend here. Don't waste your Uber money, go to down town. read more

I would give them a zero if I could, went there last night and went outside and tried to go back in and they said my kind is not welcome and they kept my purse. I am a female, a veteran of the United States Air Force and this is how I get treated.
