Service was pretty alright, but the food was just mediocre. I ordered the penne arrabiatta and it was bland aside from the taste of plain red pepper flakes. Our garlic flatbread appetizer was quite bland as well. I would rather get pie tap any day.

Always good service and good food. Whether delivery or in person the power lunch $18 is a solid choice.

I haven't eaten here in a while and am sad to say that my food wasn't as delicious as I remember previous dinners here. I had the Caesar salad (nothing special) and the Orecchiette with house made sausage (again nothing special). The pasta to sausage ratio was off and the sauce lacked depth. The wine prices here are high, unless you get a bottle. I did enjoy sitting outside, perfect weather, comfortable seating and food service was good.

Service was great but the food was underwhelming-- everything was lacking salt. The portions aren't big for their price but I wouldn't have cared if it was really good. They also don't offer complimentary bread! It's unfortunate since I really wanted to like this place as everyone was so nice.

What a cute spot!! Melissa is hands down the sweetest server I've met and we had the best time! We came for drinks -- an aperol spritz and limoncello and had a great time in the patio. The bread assortment was absolutely delicious and I wish we had more space in our bellies to try the food here!!

I went on a wed at lunchtime. I was surprised that a quick Lunch could feel so fancy! As I approached the door a man in a full suit opened the door and invited me in. I was greeted by a hostess who had my reservation and promptly seated me. I say I felt very special even though it was mid day. I ordered the chicken Parmesan pizza and it was amazing! I will def be back and I recommend this spot

Ordered the Romano crusted chicken, chicken is crispy and the linguini is al dente. Great service from staff. The place is nicely lit and you can have a great conversation.

Visited the Plano location over the weekend. Service by José and ambiance was great, but the food left a bit to be desired. Looks they had a decent wine collection. Did not have the Sangiovese that I had picked, but ended up with Jose recommended Montepulciano d'abruzzo, which was nice. We had a variety of dishes. Amongst the better ones were the Grilled salmon w/pea saffron risotto and my fav, Apple Crostata. The rest of the dishes lacked flavor. I was expecting the spicy Penne Arrabbiata to be very spicy, but it was quite bland. We also had the Fig and Gorgonzola Bruschetta which was decent with blue cheese sprinkled, but other than that the rest of the food seemed meh. We were told that the kitchen was backed up due to being short staffed, but honestly did not see any delays in the service. The manager checked up on us as well. In the fence whether I'll try this place again.

The restaurant and staff were very accommodating and they offer bottomless mimosas for $12 for Brunch! I'm docking a star because our server had too many tables to adequately tend to ours. Additionally, the chicken and waffles is not advertised as a sandwich. Definitely a turn off when served. The lemon sole piccata was good, but it would benefit from more sauce.

Celebrated a friends birthday at Princi on the patio with delicious cocktails and delicious food. I enjoyed the chicken Romano with pasta. They do offer gluten-free options which my friend chose. We also enjoyed a delicious tiramisu dessert. Service was wonderful will be back.

    Lovely view from our table.

Very poor service. We have crossed this one off the list. We made reservations on OpenTable and indicated that we were coming for a birthday. When we arrived they told us the table wasn't ready. We reminded the hostess that we are here for a birthday, please put a desert on the tab and have it delivered after dinner. So we go sit at the bar. Here we find one bartender working the entire restaurant. He never acknowledges us, never asks us if we would like anything to drink. 45 minutes later we get called for a table. They put us in the back corner of the restaurant with a lovely view of wine boxes and a ladder (see photo). We ask for another table, they said "no, this is your table". Then it took 30 min for the waiter to take the orders He never returns to refill waters and at the end of the meal failed to deliver the desert. So sad, we used to love this place. There are too many other restaurants providing good service. We will never be back.

Ask the Community - Princi Italia - Plano

Do they have a gluten-free pasta or possibly a risotto? Will be there for a large party Saturday. Want to be sure I can eat there.

They said if you want to bring gluten free pasta they can cook it for you but no on the gluten free pastas and risotto. They do have some seafood options. You should call and ask to be sure.

MIAMI VIBES -- THE REVISIT WAS WORTH IT!…read more I recently revisited Miami Vibes, and I must say--I was IMPRESSED! I tried the oxtail empanadas, and they were absolutely DELICIOUS! I also had the catfish bites, and they were AMAZING! Everything was flavorful and definitely left me wanting more. The taste and atmosphere were TOP-TIER! The vibe really adds to the overall experience and makes it a fun place to dine. My only feedback would be regarding the portion sizes. For the price, I would love to see portions that better match what you're paying. A little more food on the plate would make the experience even better! But when it comes to FLAVOR and ATMOSPHERE, Miami Vibes DELIVERED! Great atmosphere Top-tier flavor Delicious oxtail empanadas Amazing catfish bites Portions could be more generous for the price Overall, I really enjoyed my return visit and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Miami Vibes!

I got the oxtail and grits which was good, salmon bites were a bit dry and the oxtail empanadas were good. I didn't care for the $30 gratuity added however I still added $10 to it. The service definitely wasn't worth it since I had to ask for more water and cocktail refills. I had to stop a passing staff member to ask them to take our order bc she forgot. She brought everything and apologized for forgetting. When the waitress initially greeted us a had to turn my head to the side to hear what she was saying and ask her to repeat too often. If they could train the staff to serve and be more attentive. Nice people but maybe a few more seasoned staff. I'd go for the food but borrow some patience before you arrive bc you're going to need it.

We fully understood that we were early and were told that we had been checked in and that our table would be ready closer to our reservation time. We had absolutely no issue with that. While waiting, we found an area near the bar and ordered appetizers and drinks, spending close to $300 before we were ever seated for dinner. At approximately 8:20 p.m., after our reservation time had passed and we had received no update, we approached the host stand to make sure they knew we were still waiting. We were told that they were waiting for seats to become available and that we would be seated soon. At 8:30 p.m., we were still waiting. When we approached the host stand again, the response was noticeably less courteous. We were told that they could not ask people to leave their tables and that we would be seated when they could accommodate us. At some point during this exchange, we were also told that once we were eventually seated, they would provide us with complimentary appetizers. I want to be very clear: this was never about receiving free food or having something taken off our bill. We had already spent close to $300 on drinks and appetizers while waiting. I neither wanted nor needed complimentary appetizers. What I wanted was for our reservation to be honored within a reasonable amount of time--or, at the very least, for someone to communicate honestly with us, acknowledge the problem, and treat our family with respect. Offering free appetizers did nothing to address the actual issue. By approximately 8:35 p.m.--20 minutes after our reservation time and nearly 50 minutes after we initially checked in--it was apparent that there was no urgency to seat us and, more importantly, no meaningful communication about when we could expect to be seated. At that point, General Manager Landry became involved. Unfortunately, rather than attempting to de-escalate the situation or offer any reasonable solution, his attitude made an already frustrating situation substantially worse. When I reminded him that we had an 8:15 reservation and asked when we could realistically expect to be seated, he again told us that we would be seated when they could seat us. I explained that our party included a pregnant mother-to-be who had not eaten and was beginning to feel unwell, as well as a young child. There was no apparent concern or effort to accommodate the situation. When I pressed him for a more specific timeframe, Landry responded that "it's just a reservation." That statement was astonishing to me. A reservation is a commitment made between a restaurant and its customer. I certainly understand that restaurants run behind and that unexpected circumstances occur. What I do not understand is a General Manager dismissing a customer's reservation as though it carries no significance whatsoever. I asked Landry what Sixty Vines' policy would be if I had arrived 30 minutes late for my reservation. Instead of addressing the obvious point behind the question, he accused me of being "aggressive" and informed me that, if he wanted to, he could simply ask our party to leave. That response was completely inappropriate. Rather than acknowledging that his restaurant had failed to honor our reservation, apologizing for the delay, or attempting to find a solution, the General Manager chose to threaten to remove a family that had been patiently waiting and had already spent nearly $300 at the restaurant. A few minutes later, Landry walked past our group and visibly shook his head at us. It was dismissive, disrespectful, and entirely unbecoming of someone entrusted with managing a restaurant and representing the Sixty Vines brand. Ironically, the person who demonstrated the most professionalism and empathy that evening was the young server who had been taking care of us near the bar. She observed what was happening, approached us on her own, apologized for the situation, and asked whether there was anything she could do to help. Her response stood in stark contrast to that of the General Manager. By this point, we had closed our tab. The pregnant member of our party had become so unwell while we waited that she actually vomited. We informed Landry of what had happened, and again there appeared to be little concern. His primary focus remained his assertion that we had "yelled" at him. To be clear, customers who have waited well beyond their reservation time, received virtually no meaningful communication, and then been told by the General Manager that "it's just a reservation" are understandably going to become frustrated. A capable General Manager should know how to manage that frustration professionally rather than escalating the situation and threatening to remove the customers. Ultimately, we left without ever having the birthday dinner.
