    Thanksgiving dinner
    Pam C.

I haven't eaten here in a while and am sad to say that my food wasn't as delicious as I remember previous dinners here. I had the Caesar salad (nothing special) and the Orecchiette with house made sausage (again nothing special). The pasta to sausage ratio was off and the sauce lacked depth. The wine prices here are high, unless you get a bottle. I did enjoy sitting outside, perfect weather, comfortable seating and food service was good.

Service was great but the food was underwhelming-- everything was lacking salt. The portions aren't big for their price but I wouldn't have cared if it was really good. They also don't offer complimentary bread! It's unfortunate since I really wanted to like this place as everyone was so nice.

What a cute spot!! Melissa is hands down the sweetest server I've met and we had the best time! We came for drinks -- an aperol spritz and limoncello and had a great time in the patio. The bread assortment was absolutely delicious and I wish we had more space in our bellies to try the food here!!

I went on a wed at lunchtime. I was surprised that a quick Lunch could feel so fancy! As I approached the door a man in a full suit opened the door and invited me in. I was greeted by a hostess who had my reservation and promptly seated me. I say I felt very special even though it was mid day. I ordered the chicken Parmesan pizza and it was amazing! I will def be back and I recommend this spot

Ordered the Romano crusted chicken, chicken is crispy and the linguini is al dente. Great service from staff. The place is nicely lit and you can have a great conversation.

The restaurant and staff were very accommodating and they offer bottomless mimosas for $12 for Brunch! I'm docking a star because our server had too many tables to adequately tend to ours. Additionally, the chicken and waffles is not advertised as a sandwich. Definitely a turn off when served. The lemon sole piccata was good, but it would benefit from more sauce.

Celebrated a friends birthday at Princi on the patio with delicious cocktails and delicious food. I enjoyed the chicken Romano with pasta. They do offer gluten-free options which my friend chose. We also enjoyed a delicious tiramisu dessert. Service was wonderful will be back.

Grilled Salmon with pea saffron risotto, crispy onions, tarragon grain mustard sauce

Visited the Plano location over the weekend. Service by José and ambiance was great, but the food left a bit to be desired. Looks they had a decent wine collection. Did not have the Sangiovese that I had picked, but ended up with Jose recommended Montepulciano d'abruzzo, which was nice. We had a variety of dishes. Amongst the better ones were the Grilled salmon w/pea saffron risotto and my fav, Apple Crostata. The rest of the dishes lacked flavor. I was expecting the spicy Penne Arrabbiata to be very spicy, but it was quite bland. We also had the Fig and Gorgonzola Bruschetta which was decent with blue cheese sprinkled, but other than that the rest of the food seemed meh. We were told that the kitchen was backed up due to being short staffed, but honestly did not see any delays in the service. The manager checked up on us as well. In the fence whether I'll try this place again.

The appetizers at least the ones we had are very small. The salads are bland hardly any dressing or flavor. The entree was flavorful and a decent size we have the crusted chicken. The ambiance is nice and the very clean. The service was not so great the server was very condescending and agitated every time we asked for something or wanted to order something. Personally wouldn't go back for the price it's a little overpriced for the lack of flavor in the food and service.

Burrata & Roasted Vine Tomatoes delish!

Our group of seven celebrated a friends birthday. We were happy to see this restaurant offered a menu to support the restaurant week initiative. First of all our server, Mellissa, was awesome. She was knowledgeable of the menu and gave good recommendations. She was outgoing and made our experience a positive one! The appetizer of the Buratta & Roasted Vine Tomatoes was unique and delicious! The Lemon Sole Piccata was another hit! Atmosphere very nice and clean restaurant.

    Lovely view from our table.

Ask the Community - Princi Italia

Do they have a gluten-free pasta or possibly a risotto? Will be there for a large party Saturday. Want to be sure I can eat there.

They said if you want to bring gluten free pasta they can cook it for you but no on the gluten free pastas and risotto. They do have some seafood options. You should call and ask to be sure.

He has jokes, he had menu recs, overall, a pleasant guy! The boyfriend wanted to buy him a drink for helping us, but he politely declined (so professional) My boyfriend said that fish was the best piece of fish he's ever tasted at a restaurant, he LOVED the pepper relish on top of the baked salmon! I loved my linguini de mare! We both had enough to take home, we didn't realize it was family style portions! :) Vir(sp?) set us up with a complimentary order of lemon cookies! They were cute, but tbh, not my favorite-- I don't like shortbread, it is always so dry. I used the house made whipped cream and the anniversary chocolate in my coffee the next morning, though!

First we were wondering why we saw a milky sauce in our containers, and why was there panko crumbs on the chicken. I rechecked my order to see if I possibly ordered incorrectly, but it clearly stated 2 chicken piccata's, one single and one double order, house salad, and a side of asparagus. We cut into the tough, dry breast, tasted and both agreed that this awful meal was not what we had enjoyed so many times before. The sauce was wrong without the lemony greatness that it once had, the spinach was not even sauteed like before, and oh that awful embarrassing flavorless dry spaghetti on the side! Neither of us finished our meal, and we packed it all back into the to-go bag and placed it in the trash where it belonged. $83 of flavorless garbage is what we received!! So disappointed in Maggianos and we will not be dining there again! So sad that another restaurant has lowered its quality and raised its prices! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON MAGGIANOS, THEY HAVED RUINED WHAT WAS ONCE A GREAT THING!

Great flavor and you have your option on pasta and I chose penne. For dessert we had the special cheesecake which was amazing. Prices for wine, cocktails, and food are all very reasonable. We began with two salads... a small HAIL, CAESAR! made with Romaine, parmesan reggiano, and croutons, and a small PEAR & BLEU made with Butter lettuce, radicchio, sliced pear, gorgonzola, candied pecans, sweet vidalia onion dressing. Both were large enough to share with our significant others. ;-) For our entrées we chose three different pizzas... a large crispy, thin crust DALLAS STYLE PIZZA BOLOGNESE with Signature bolognese sauce covered in mozzarella, provolone, reggiano and creamy, fresh ricotta, a small crispy, thin crust DALLAS STYLE VEGGIE DELIGHT with mushrooms, green bell pepper, black & green olives, red onion, and tomato, and a small SIGNATURE DETROIT STYLE rectangular pizza with brick cheese, Detroit sauce and caramelized cheese edges. All three were different and excellent in their own right! The vibe in the restaurant was very lively and upbeat.
