We have been coming to Quattro Goomba's for several years but I felt the need to leave a review based on our recent experiences. We hosted a bridal shower here in February, and it could not have been easier to work with them. Despite record cold temperatures that day, everything was perfect. The wine, pizza & charcuterie could not have been better, and all of the guests loved the mimosa bar they did for us. The space we used was lovely. The little house on their property was the perfect setting, and the attention we got before and during the event was perfect. Jody was a dream to work with on the planning, and she made sure it went off without a single issue. I couldn't recommend it more. We always enjoy coming out to hear local musicians, (especially our favorite local artist Gary Smallwood), and great beer/wines + their legendary pizza = a great way to spend a day or evening. Also, the staff couldn't be nicer. It must be a great place to work because they're always happy, kind, and helpful. We tried the tater tots last night, and oh my goodness they were probably the best we've ever had. So with all the brewery and winery choices in NoVA, this one tops our list and remains our favorite. For your next outing (or party/shower/event) this IS the place. Trust me. 10/10 read more

The winery has ample space for seating indoors and outside, great for groups. There are numerous tvs, drink options from beer (IPOs) cocktails and wine slushies. They have a fairly extensive menu for the standard winery/vineyard offering subs, sides, pizza and sandwiches. The pizza has a thick crust, typically not my preference, but honey this is crisp and buttery. The pizza toppings are typically crumbles of the protein which are also nicely crisped. It hits the spot if you're drinking a good bit. read more

I enjoyed coming here for a friend's birthday. I had visited before years ago, and was excited to come back and try the wines here as I didn't remember them being fond of them, but remembered that the pizza was SO GOOD! As you've heard, the pizza is awesome! You can't go wrong with wine and pizza, so try it at Quattro Goombas! My friends and I did a tasting one rainy day, so it was pretty dead inside. This lent an opportunity to learn about the winery and get some individualized attention during the tasting! We enjoyed the wine and bought a bottle to drink with pizza. If your not a beer connoisseur, you will still find something to enjoy here! Quattro Goombas is located on a scenic drive and large piece of land with ample seating options. You can choose to hangout in the brewery area, the picnic/food area, the wine tasting area or the scattered picnic tables in the field. We opted to get drinks in the brewery and sit at the picnic area. Although we didn't really like the beers we got, the pizza alone is worth coming back for more! We also look forward to trying a wine slush in the future! Service was very friendly and quick. The pizza dough it's amazing, it's like a focaccia crust with a robust tomato sauce and piled high with toppings. It was a hit with my group and we ranked it as top three pizzas we've ever had. The only downside to this place is the layout is a little weird when entering from the parking lot and larger/ more signage would be helpful to tell which building is which! read more

Amazing winery and brewery! Some of the best beer and wine in NoVA and a great rustic ambiance. They have flags for lots of sports teams and our best friend loved the Liverpool Flag. The food is great too, we got a Cheesesteak, Italian Beef, and Margherita and Chicken half pizzas to bring home. The service was very fast and friendly as well. One of my favorite wineries in the area! We came here because it was an easy drive and because of the slushie and pizza. We were also able to bring our own food and non-alcoholic drinks (water). I've never tried the beer, mostly because we come for the wine and slushie. There is plenty of seating, first come first serve. Theres a front patio, back patio, and plenty of lawn seating. For one of our visits, we brought our own lawn chairs and sat in the back. Unless you go on a Saturday when it is PACKED! This area tends to get very crowded and loud, seating is minimal inside. Wine can be purchased in the wine tasting room. Everything else is in the brewery. The line can get long for the food / beer / slushie, but it's well worth the wait. They sell an alcoholic slushy in a carafe, which is basically their wine in a frozen state. It's sold in the barn with the beer and food. The pizza is amazing, and is quite large, but a bit too saucy. You can bring your own food as well, which is always a good thing because c'mon, food at wineries is pretty pricey. Parking can be hard to find depending on how busy it is, also first come first serve. read more

A big group of friends and I met up here just for fun and it was a great experience! They were able to accommodate our large group easily, and there was plenty of space for dogs, kids, and people to just spread out and have fun. I am only reviewing the afternoon tea service at the establishment, I did not visit the winery section or the grounds. First, I was excited to see that the winery was expanding into afternoon tea... seems to be a trend here in Loudoun. The space is new and absolutely lovely. It looked like a cozy living room! I loved that we were allowed to linger over our tea and enjoy the space and the company. The service was impeccable without being intrusive. We were offered a choice of 4 teas and then the food arrived. Okay, maybe I am a tea snob, but the finger sandwiches and scones are usually the highlights of a tea. Sadly, the scones were not really scones. They were more like a coffee cake/sweet bread. No resemblance to a scone at all. Sandwiches were okay, honestly not particularly memorable. Oddly, we were a party of 4 and we had to share the treats because there wasn't one for each guest-- kind of a tea faux pas, but especially at the $45 price point. I was disappointed in the quality of the sweets because the tea food was touted as being made by the winery's chef. I am fairly certain some were purchased not house made. Also , I think $8 to refill a teapot is absurd. Overall, good start, but get a real scone recipe, have one of each item for each paying guest, make the food yourself and offer hot water refills at a more reasonable cost. read more

Looking for a quick winery trip outside of the city; look no further than Quattro Goomba's Winery! We stopped in on a Sunday to celebrate a friend's birthday. The lines were nonexistent, the service was impeccable ( shoutout to Rick and Jodie ), and the pizza was delicious! We started with the tasting which included all of the wines listed in the photo for $15/pp! Rick did an excellent job describing the wines as we tasted our way through and was super helpful when we were selecting our bottle. We chose the Vino Di Nonni wine ($29) to pair with our pizza. This is the first winery that I have been to in which all the wines that I tasted were good. Tried the fruity beers and they were so good and true to taste. The winery has lots of seating options for the whole family; and the grounds are very spacious, comfortable and clean! Service is great, everyone is very friendly, helpful and a joy to talk to. Honestly, all of the drinks were pretty good but I would avoid the mamba if you don't fancy a plain IPA. I generally don't like better drinks, so the boysenberry and mango is pretty sweet. The outdoor is full of picnic tables and shaded areas so you get the ability to enjoy the grass and throw a frisbee especially on a sunny day. All of the staff here were very nice and provided excellent service, but I wouldn't go back for the wine as there was only one (the nebbiolo) that we found enjoyable. On the plus side, they allow kids and dogs, and have pizzas, beer, and wine slushies for those that are there to have a good time. A friend and I were able to enjoy a nice afternoon here while enjoying some live music. read more

My wife, five-year-old daughter and I visited on a Saturday afternoon with my wife's work friends. After spending three hours there, we left impressed. Here's why: 1) Drinks: It's a winery and brewery in one so you can order craft beer, including a mango and passionfruit sour, and wine, including two wine slushees that were really good. 2) Food: They let you bring in your own food or you can buy some there. If you like pizza, their pizza is big and really tasty! 3) Space: It's huge with a section for adults only and one for families with kids. They say pictures or it didn't happen so this is all I have to show for it. The quesadilla, and our baguette with brie. The garlic butter spread is amazing. So simple but so delicious. Much more worth it than the $7 brie, which imo is way too much for each cheese, but it's a winery, and a friend of mine said it was just what she needed, so that's something to consider. Haven't been able to get a real tasting since I'm always drawn to the wine slushees, but if I did, I know it'd be great. Wine snobs look down on the slushees but I'm here for a good time, not a long time. Pizza isn't life changing, but it's good enough to be my boyfriend's idea to drive 45 minutes - 1 hour away for, when he thinks driving in 20 minute traffic is too far (so do I, but that's for another conversation). Lots of parking even on a busy Memorial Day weekend. Can bring your dogs and kids here. My friends and I brought our badminton net and rackets and had a blast. Just be aware: need bug spray and since it is outdoors, there is potential for ticks to be around (which is obviously not QG's fault, just something to be aware of). Visited with a friend for lunch on a Thursday. Plenty of seating outside. We actually sat in the adult only covered area, so relaxing/private in this area. Heard the weekends can get very busy, so took advantage of a weekday. Definitely worth taking a day off. Cabernet slushy was very refreshing in the heat. Grey combo with our pizza. Friend drank beer, but I prefer wine. I would of given a higher rating, however the beer server was not so welcoming. His entire demeanor was of "annoyance." Not great first impression at all. What a beautiful winery and brewery! I'm so glad I found it through a work event! They have amazing food for amazing prices! My favorite dishes are the Reuben which has plenty of meat and great bread! I also loved the pizza... it has an amazing crust... little buttery (don't know if it's actual butter or oil) and the texture is incredible right out of the oven. I absolutely loved the pepperoni pizza! Loved the charcuterie board with its freshly baked bread (perfect crust and chewiness) and the pretzel appetizer! I feel like they do bread really well. Food was not bad, but the experience was not as good compared to a couple years ago. I had the sausage sub which was good. The pizza was a bit too chewy for my liking. A few years ago they had table service which made it a lot more accommodating. They only had one flavored slushy which was disappointing. Quattro offers wine tastings and I found their red aged in bourbon oak barrels the most interesting. There are spots with picnic tables and indoor seating as well. This place has potential. It is not well marked and we went at night and it was extremely poorly lighted. They need to put out a few more dollars for signage, appearance and lights for safety. We went to listen to music and try their wine. Music was great but only played 6-8 and took a long break. They then shut down on a Friday night immediately at 8pm with a big crowd who wanted to stay. This was disappointing. Staff was young college age were very nice. Definitely not experts in wine or beer. The wine was ok ( enjoyed the red; Cabernet was best); it seemed to be more about beer in the main area. They had good bar food which was by the wine ( separate building). My son loves the beer here so we go when he's in town. It's pretty casual but in the best way. It's a nice way to spend a couple of hours on a pretty day. There's lots of reviews about the pizza and they're right. It's amazing and addictive. I also like the wine but it isn't my favorite out of all the local wineries. Where to start? Very good beer selection including guest ales. They have great wines and for summer, try the wine slushies. Parking can be interesting but we have never had an issue. Drinks and food order done via QR code or just walk to the bar. You get texts when the stuff is ready for pickup. It can be a challenge to bring the drinks and/or food to your table if you have to walk down The slope, but it's a decent solution to "the situation ". Beers are great and if you like pizza definitely try their Sicilian pizza. If it's going to be busy, bring folding chairs. read more
