Excellent service, excellent wine, and really excellent food! My boyfriend and I came for our Valentine's day dinner. We split an appetizer, a pasta dish, and an entree, which is how we usually like to eat at Italian restaurants to get the most of our experience without ordering too much food. Our waitress was very patient and pleasant with us. The veal ravioli was heavenly, and the Cornish game hen was delicious (and a huge portion!). The carpaccio funghi (our appetizer) was a surprise to me-- I never knew thinly sliced mushroom could be so delicious. We ended with dessert. My boyfriend was able to get affogato even though it wasn't on the menu, and I had three flavors of gelato. So delicious, and beautifully plated too. I had a decent amount of the game hen dish leftover. It was just as amazing two days later reheated. I think that's when you know a dish is well made! I would definitely come back here. Loved this place! Quality Italian food at a reasonable price for the Village. For our group of 10, they gave us their spacious backroom - no minimum and great service. I usually hate being separated from the main dining room in US restaurants because service is slower and its harder to get attention from the staff, but Quattros was fabulous at checking in. Favorite thing on the menu was definitely the Quattros spaghetti, unique and flavorful! I will totally be back again =) read more

Loved every minute of our evening. We had a large round table for a party of five. I recommend starting with the antipasto platter which offers a selection of appetizers to share - customized to the numbers of diners. This is a nice place and the food is above average. My wife had the minestrone soup and a salad, and I had the vegetarian tagliatelle pasta dish. The soup was simple and pure but lacked any pizazz. Same for the pasta. Once I put some salt and pepper on the pasta it was fine. Atmosphere is dark and romantic. Wow! Mouth watering tomato sauce, everything was amazing! Service was very welcoming, friendly, knowledgable and professional. Our server was Mandy but the staff works well in a team so we did interact with many of the wonderful staff. The food was just incredible. Italian is my favorite, and I have had much of it in my life. I also working in Italian cuisine for years and enjoy cooking it myself. This restaurant takes the cake. Caesar salad, home made dressing - fantastic. Baratta salad is $18 but you get a huge amount of the freshest cheese, the basil oil is done perfectly. I had the (forget the exact names) Rotolo. The presentation was great, with a mix of three sauces spread to look like the flag. The tomato sauce was the best I have ever had. The pesto was fresh, and not blended which made the flavours pop. Boyfriend had the tagliatelle polpettone Home made pasta cooked perfectly, delicious sauce, and one giant breaded beef and lamb blended meatball stuffed with cheese. Huge portion, tasted amazing. Some people are saying its expensive, that maybe you spend more then you should. I disagree. It is pricy but its worth it. There is a lot of detail that goes into these dishes, and quality ingredients. Truffles, basil oil, the amount of fresh cheeses... this stuff doesn't come cheap. You could also order just a main and be more then satisfied. Wine list was among the largest I have ever seen, and with a great variety. We will go back during the rest of our week here for sure! Great dinner for our last night in Whistler! Hopefully you will lucky enough to have Theresa be your server. She gave us great menu suggestions and was charming. Try the meatball with tagliatelle. Just awesome food. The grilled radicchio salad was a great starter. A BC Cab-Merlot blend did not disappoint. From reading the menu on line , I was hoping to be bowled over but alas, I was not. The food was average. The ingredients were lovely and the concept of each dish was creative enough but execution was lacking. For example, we had the pasta special of the day which was a lobster pappardelle. What we got was lots of plain pasta with claw lobster that was fresh but plain as well. A beige-flavored dish overall. Salads were not memorable either . Wine list was good. We came here for a birthday dinner and it was a lovely evening. Excellent service, delicious meals, and very accommodating of our 6-month-old. For appetizers we had the Italian sausages, for the main risotto and ravioli. The risotto was very good, a little overwhelmed with pancetta but the texture was perfect. The desserts were good - the sorbets were refreshing and the lava cake style chocolate dessert was not too sweet (in fact all of the desserts our table were more rich than sweet, especially the panna cotta). We would definitely come back on our next visit to Whistler. read more

This is most likely the best Italian restaurant in Whistler. Yes it's old and dated, but the food and service is top notch. the secret? It's outside of the main village and thus needs to work that much harder to stay relevant. unlike the main village tourist traps you can find a better value here. service is also old school in a good way. the employees have been here for awhile so they are well trained, knowledgable and down to earth. I usually sit at the bar with my partner and get top notch personalized service. can't remember the bartender's name but there is often a guy there that does a fantastic job. for food im pretty much a creature of habit here opting for the carpaccio and the spaghetti quattro. the spaghetti is unique and by no means a classic italian dish, but somehow it works and is tasty. read more

Great experience dining here and exceptionally friendly service! As usual, I asked if I could have some of the dishes I ordered modified and it was no problem at all!! A little extra arugula with the mozarella de buffala appetizer and an extra drizzle of truffle oil with angel hair instead of regular spaghetti pasta-yayyyy! Lee, our server, was the best experience, of the night. Italian Bolognese sauce was made with beef and lamb. When asked about that they stated too many people don't eat pork. The rabbit confit pasta had a spicy taste to it that I did not like. Saving the best for last. This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Whistler. I came here four years ago with my boyfriend, and we remembered their pasta tasting menu was delicious. So we returned on our recent Whistler ski trip and were happy to find they still had that same tasting menu, and because it had been four years, we thought we'd do it again! We were not disappointed. First off, serving size is large. They require a minimum of two people to order, and let me tell you, that's a lot of pasta for two people. We got a sample of five different pastas and none of them were disappointing. I can't comment on anything else on the menu, but I would happily come back for this pasta sampling over and over again! FANTASTIC experience! My wife and I were trying to decide what to order and asked the waiter what the chef's signature dish was. The waiter said he would check with the chef. A few moments later the chef came to our table and offered to build a tasting menu for us. He ensured we had no food allergies and returned to the kitchen. Shortly the waiter returned with the first of the courses and a description of what they had prepared. We absolutely loved the food and the surprise of each course as it arrived. The experience completely exceeded our expectations and made our first night in Whistler a very special one! read more

Quattros came recommended to us. We went on a Thursday for the $10 pasta night. Perhaps that's why the food was mediocre. In any case I wouldn't spend an evening here again. Service was polite but extremely slow. It wasn't that busy. We made the mistake of ordering a carafe of the house red (also a special). It was drinkable but thin and blasé. We ordered a Caprese Salad to start. The tomatoes were good. The mozzarella was ordinary and chewy. We ordered two pastas. The beef/pork Ragu had no flavor. The pasta was properly cooked. We also got the Wild Mushroom with Fussili. It was good, full of flavor. The atmosphere is fine. Didn't try any of their other dishes so perhaps this isn't a fair review. However, making a good Ragu is pretty basic so I'm not risking another dinner here. read more

Hmmm, wines are overpriced - a 4 fold markup is rather steep, even for Whistler. And watch out for the pricing on their antepasto special. Service was brisk/brusque once the waitress had figured we were not likely to be big spenders tonight. I do have to say that our server Lee was the best part of the entire experience. Despite our incessant peppering of requests due to a slow system and understaffed dining room he was pleasant and professional and really turned what could have been a nightmare dinner into a good "last night" in Whistler. One of our party ordered the featured pasta dish "snow crab"-when it came to the table the fish smell was overpowering. Not in a good way. Very dissappointing. Again, Lee came through and helped us order a replacement dish that he expedited so we could all enjoy our meal together. All of the pasta dishes were heavy on pasta and light on sauce so unless you are a carb fiend you may be diasappointed. The ahi carpaccio was however top notch. Fabulous experience in every way. Situated on the edge of the Village, it was a serene oasis away from the noisy crowds. Excellent wine selection and our waiter Mark made great suggestions to accompany our meal. We ate family style and shared the Minestrone soup, burrata salad and beet salad appetizers - each a tasty treat. Celebrating New Year Eve at Quattros. The service is warm and attentive..the food was favourful and well presented. Good value for the $$. The most memorable aspect of the meal was by far the chocolate lava cake. Cooked to perfection and the right balance between richness and chocolate gooey. The only negative of the night and the most critical is the heating system, or lack thereof. The management needs to address it and quickly....half the restaurant is wearing a winter coat and the other half is freezing their asses off. The woman with the full length fur coat is proof enough. You have to wonder what it would take for the management to turn up the heat for it's patrons. Best Italian restaurant in Whistler!!! Everytime I go up to whistler this is the first place we stop and eat.. its delicious.. and always end up getting the same plate..... which is.. The Quattro Pasta - its amazing.. There isnt much more to say about this place besides go and enjoy some great italian food before hit teh slopes the following day!! read more
