This review is only for pedicure I don't get manicures and I don't polish my nails and I don't wear any acrylics or gels so I cannot speak on those services. I requested a simple pedicure. No polish just my toenails cut short. I didn't notice until I got home but my toenails were cut very crooked. The place is big, it seemed fairly clean, they do charge two dollar service fee you're gonna use your debit card. They were friendly enough, I'm just not sure if I'd return. It would've been cool to be provided with the nail filer so I can fix my toenails but I couldn't see them until I got home to say anything.

Save your time and money. Do not come here. I walked at looking to get a manicure. The man sitting at the front desk did not acknowledge me as he was on his phone. When he finally noticed me after i said hello. I told him i wanted a manicure and he pointed me to a lady doing someone's nails already to ask her as if he did not know anything about manicures services. The lady took a while to acknowledge me after as well and responded in a nasty tone to come back tomorrow. This is not the first bad interaction I have had with this nail salon. They do not seem to care about their customers and giving them the best services or experience. read more

1st time client. Took my dad and myself for a pedicure. Kim was very welcoming towards my dad and took care of his feet. Christina worked on my pedicure, she was very nice to talk too. I wasnt sure about the color and she made a couple of suggestions that I was happy with. They had soothing jazz playing... felt like knocking out on the chair. It was overall a great 1st time experience. We will back again. read more

Wow! I'm so amazed by this place! Not only was it sooooo fresh on a crazy hot day. But everyone was so welcoming! Lanh was who I went to today and she greeted me with a hug and I was shocked because you hardly get that from anyone now a days! The salon is nice and clean and the techs were friendly at first. I went in for a full acrylic set. As I was trying to pick a color I did not like the color Vy the nail tech picked so I told her another color then she proceeds to get upset and talk about me with the other tech. I wanted to get a glitter french tip and she stated that they don't do that. Upon looking at their IG they do offer glitter french tip. She painted my nails and said they were "ombré" and they were not. She was rushing and just wanting to do what she wanted and if I spoke up she would be upset. Once the service was done her whole attitude change to nice. Wouldn't recommend going here. read more

I like this place, but on my last visit I see a bunch of signs that say "$2.00 charge if using ATM" what!!!!! I asked why the expensive charge and the lady tells me "that's what my bank charges me!" OK no the bank doesn't charge $2.00 for each atm transaction and if they did I'm sure it's illegal to do so. That's robbery and the bank should be sued! Listen i know hard times are killing our pockets and small businesses i know cause i have a small business, but don't try and make an extra buck on me because I don't carry cash! Shame on you!! read more

Drove my wife here for her manicure and pedicure but took a peek inside I decided to do my pedicure and it a great decision of the day. We really like the services here with warm welcome friendly front desk ladies from Jenifer and Ivy. The work done looks so well and neat I end up had a facial and loved it. Being a man having facial is rare but once I tried it I really enjoyed it. The technicians are super good and nice big shout out to the techs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE MALE OR FEMALE. This is our go to place from now on. Will take some pictures next time. read more

Unfortunately, my most recent visit completely changed my perception of this place. I came in for a pedicure and, at one point, used Google Translate on my phone. To my shock, the technician doing my pedicure was making insulting comments about my legs and feet, calling them "ugly" and saying they looked "smashed," as if I had just come back from the field. I initially tried to ignore it, but when I asked for a specific polish, she continued making the same comments. I eventually confronted her and the girl at the front desk, and instead of addressing the situation professionally, they both became upset. It's incredibly disappointing and disrespectful to speak about clients this way--especially right in front of them. Customers come in to feel good and receive a service, not to be insulted or belittled. No customer should be disrespected or feel unsafe during a service. I will not be returning

Their work is consistently excellent, which is why I've often recommended them to friends and family. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the salon's management and front desk staff. Their scheduling and customer service are extremely disorganized, and they seem to have little regard for the customer experience. The salon routinely overbooks technicians and assigns walk-in clients to technicians who already have upcoming appointments. Despite making appointments every time I've visited, I've regularly been forced to wait 15-30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, even though I make a point of arriving early as a courtesy. My most recent experience was the final straw. I scheduled both a lash lift and an acrylic fill. When I called, the receptionist told me my lash appointment would be at 5:00 PM and my nail appointment at 6:00 PM. However, the text confirmation I received only listed a 6:00 PM appointment. On previous visits, I had been told by the front desk that appointments are not considered booked without a text confirmation, so I reasonably assumed the salon had adjusted my schedule and moved the lash appointment. When I arrived at 6:00 PM, the receptionist informed me that the text confirmation was incorrect, my lash appointment had actually been at 5:00 PM, and I had missed it. No apology was offered, nor did anyone attempt to rebook the service. I then asked if I could still proceed with my 6:00 PM nail appointment, only to be told that my nail technician would not be available for another hour. The receptionist blamed the delay on my technician's timing, which was both inappropriate and inaccurate. I've worked with the same technician for two years, and she has always been professional, efficient, and respectful of her appointment schedule. It was clear that the salon had double-booked over my appointment. Their only solution was for me to return at 7:00 PM, which was not possible given my schedule. This experience was incredibly frustrating because I genuinely love the work of the nail technicians. However, I can no longer tolerate the level of disorganization, poor communication, and lack of accountability from management. As a result, I will not be returning, and I can no longer recommend this salon to others. The business needs to get control of its scheduling and customer volume before more loyal customers have similar experiences.

I dislike the salons that overbook and make you wait 30+ mins to start service so this was great! The salon is clean, my slight criticism would be to have better ventilation. When I walked in I was hit by the smell of nail polish fumes, it was a bit overwhelming but I got used to it after a while - beware if you are sensitive to smells. The manicure / pedicure itself was decent, the edges could be a little bit cleaner but overall solid spot, especially for the value.

I'm extremely particular about my nails and, to be honest, I'm a bit of a clean freak. I've had my fair share of terrible nail salon experiences over the years, so I was a little hesitant at first. Walking into Onyx completely changed my expectations. Tyn is truly one of a kind. Where do I even begin? He treats every client with genuine respect and gives 110% every single appointment. One thing that really stuck with me was seeing him work on his own birthday. Instead of taking the day off, he came in with a smile, took care of his clients, and made sure everyone left happy. That says a lot about the kind of person and professional he is. He's also a perfectionist in the best way possible. He constantly checks in throughout the appointment, asking if you love your nails. If something isn't exactly how you envisioned it, he'll gladly fix it until you're completely happy. He truly stands behind his work. A few months ago, I injured my hands and thought my natural nails were beyond saving. Tyn suggested switching to builder gel and simply told me, "Trust the process." I'm so glad I listened. Three months later, my natural nails are healthier and stronger than they've ever been. I used to be one of those "every two weeks" girls, but he always laughs and tells me, "Come on, I love you, but two weeks is too soon!" That's just how well his work holds up. The salon itself is always spotless, welcoming, and relaxing. The first time I came after getting my nails done the nail tech mentioned how I can come in 1-2 weeks to get a refill on my nails. When I came the second time for the refill the person stated that I could not do a refill and that instead I needed to do a completely new set. I am upset that the nail tech lied to me. Never coming to this place again I do not like when the nail tech told me one thing and then charged differently. It is a very predatory tactic. Highly disappointed with my experience. Also for me they put something on my feet and it burned. One of my toes was left with a burn mark. The nail tech also didn't really understand English so it took her awhile to take off the product so I had to dip my foot inside so I wouldn't burn the rest of my toes.
