If you decide to get gel "allegedly" two weeks and that's not true either . He should enclosed this when you are deciding what to get . Came to get my lashes done (first time ever) and was incredibly happy with the work Linda did. She asked what length lash I wanted but ended up choosing for me since I didn't know which one would be best. She suggested I go short but I expressed concern that they wouldn't be noticeable enough. She put a few in and showed them to me so that I could decide if I liked them or not. For me, short was definitely the way to go because I wanted make sure I could easily deal with them the first time around. My coworker went with a longer, more extravagant look and hers look great as well (and lasted 4 weeks!!!). Quality work for sure... 25 minutes later I came out looking like a whole different person (in a good way)! Hopefully these last at least a few weeks but even if they don't, $20 for lashes is a pretty amazing deal! I will definitely be back! Give this place a try but make an appointment first. I don't think they have a dedicated lash lady so if you're a walk-in, you'll have to wait along with everyone there getting their nails done. And this place gets busy!! Small parking lot in the front but lots more spots available behind the building. It is dark back there and smelled heavily of pot when I left at 8pm... This is my second time coming to Pauline's and I'm very happy with my results. Lani did my manicure both visits and I couldn't be happier. She is very attentive and puts in effort towards her work. My job position requires constant use of my hands and the manicure gel holds up very well. All the employees are very friendly. I've had the luck of walking in during their slow foot traffic, but the wait would be worth it as well. She was rushing and therefore did a poor job. My nails are bubbled, have wrinkles and the clear nail polish wasn't cleaned off the edges properly. Located in a small (i mean small) strip mall on Telegraph right off of the 605 fwy - you'll find Pauline's nails. No worries though, there's a larger lot in the back. Pauline's nails has a row of tables to the right as you walk in and then a row of spa chairs to the left. The people at Pauline's are very nice and very accommodating to whatever you may need. They offer waxing - about $5 for eyebrow and I think $7 for lip. I believe a pedicure is about $12, but of course they charge extra for french tip. Regardless though, I'd say that Pauline's is fairly moderately priced especially compared to other nail shops down the street and in other neighborhoods. I live in Orange County and would go to Pauline's any day for the better pricing! Sidenote to people using credit cards - they charge $0.50. read more

I'm not a usual customer. I needed to get my gel manicure before getting away for the weekend and decided to walk in to this shop being that it's around the corner from my home. Tina did my gel manicure but I very disappointed. The gel wasn't polished evenly. It was lumpy and she didn't apply coats evenly upto the edge of my nails. My boyfriend pointed out all the defects without me having to tell him what a mess she did. Im not the type to complain, I just will never return. Aside from the horrific experience, I had to wait 1.5 hours to be helped. Price was high as well. I paid 25.00 when I usually pay 18.00 at my usual Tip to Toe on Firestone Blvd/Studerbaker.
