Burrito salad but asked for a burrito

Food 1/10 Service 0/10 absolute garbage service Ambiance 0/10 I had came to this place once before I came today and I thought possibly before I write a review they can redeem themselves, but no clearly I should've known what type of food I was gonna get from what type of service I got . First of all the girl in the front who stands and takes everyone's orders has the most garbage customer service skills. I clearly don't understand why they would put people like this up in front to talk to customers. She is extremely rude, Does not know basic etiquette when it comes to greeting people. Management should really fire her not hire someone who does not look presentable at all and does not even know how to speak to a customer. You don't need to have much besides basic customer service skills to take someone's order at a burger joint. You literally have ONE job. I ordered a breakfast burrito unwrapped my burrito and it just opened up because it wasn't even wrapped cheese was not melted bacon tasted horrific. I had to get a fork n pick out the pieces of sausage n egg that wasn't drenched in oil, it had literal puddles of oil. Do ur selves a favor n don't bother coming here, management if ur reading this DO BETTER!!!!! I'm so disgusted.

Idk why this place doesn't have 5 stars They're incredibly clean and I haven't ate a cheeseburger this good since my childhood. I keep coming back and having other people try it they're amazed too. This is my 4th time back in a month. Here's a tip. Best thing on the menu is the double cheese burger. It's like a larger home made in n out double double from in n out. Don't do single patty unless it's for a kid. Their breakfast burrito is OK (sausage or bacon) Their pastrami breakfast burrito is GREAT... just gotta do light potatoes next time Cons: Not a huge fan of their salsa. They need to make something better.

I ordered a BLT combo and ask for extra bacon, they told me it was going to be almost a five dollar charge for extra bacon which I thought was a little steep, but I was certain it would be worth it as I thought they would add plenty more. To my surprise, my BLT sandwich came with the same amount of bacon as it normally would making me very disappointed.

I seen several food people video from Queens Burger & was craving chili cheese fries. So, I went after work, just had to drive a few miles out of the way. They have their own parking lot which is a big plus. Inside is dark and the menu is a very small sign. I ordered Chili Cheese fries with Pastrami on top. It smelled really good but I took it home to eat. To be honest, I was disappointed on taste but you get a lot of food. The Chili & Pastrami lack favor. Next time I will try the Burger

We were headed down foothill on a misty day. I needed a quick lunch and didn't want to get out of the car. So we stopped by Queens. Long Story Short, their food is good enough. It wasn't great, but wasn't awful. It provided just what we needed at a reasonable price. We got: Grilled cheese sandwich - Very basic, but well made. It came with white bread and American cheese. Next time I'd probably see if they had cheddar which is my preference. Fries - These were fresh, crispy, and made well. They were the size between shoe string and steak. Chicken strips - I was hoping for a thicker tender, but it was flat, pressed, batters chicken spongy pieces. It was ok but I probably wouldn't order that again. Fried Zucchini- These were long thick spears breaded with a slightly sweet batter. They were well cooked and not hard. A little more seasoning would have been nice. But I wasn't mad at them, and my kids enjoyed them without even having dipping sauce. It did take a little while to get our food, but I like that it was made fresh. So no complaints there. I got all of that plus a small drink (and adult small not a kiddie cup which was nice) for about $20 since part of it was a kids meal. It was enough for me and my little kids to have lunch/snack.

Great burgers! Great portions! Good fries!

I was looking for a "hole in the wall" burger joint ya know with the yellow wrapper and thick fries? Well I yelped for it close to where I was doing some errands and nobody seemed to offer that at all reasonable price and not be corporate branded. Anyways I was shocked that finally I found something as good as Chris burgers in La puente and those small time places in pacoima. Unbeknownst to me it's owned by the same person there too Portions are huge with the fries Drinks are reasonably sized for being "regular" all their menu is extremely reasonable the area isn't the best but if you come in the day you'll come out with a happy belly!

Personally, I think this is one of the best happy hour bars around. Inside, it has a steampunk-y sensibility with rich, dark wood tones & comfy booths. Outside, there's a patio along Honolulu Avenue that's just the spot for people watching. HAPPY HOUR MENU :: - The wings are great. They're perfectly saucy, served with blue cheese or ranch. Pairs well with their Happy Hour Prickly Pear Cider (in a can for $5). - Also, there's Habiscus Cider on draft, which is also sweet and more soda pop-like. It's not on Happy Hour. $9 for a tall glass. - Potato Skins are stacked with toppings and super cheesy. We tried their house Ranch and asked for a side of Bleu Cheese. OTHER NOTABLE FAVES :: - $15 gets you 2 tacos with a side of chips. - Meatloaf Mondays - get a proper meal that sticks to your ribs + a pint for $20. - No wait for a booth. Food & drinks came out quickly. Overall, the service is great. Sorry, kids. This place is 21 and over only. Despite being so close to a seafood restaurant, I never expected one of my favorite shrimp dishes to come from here. I'm glad I took the chance. The shrimp were tender and full of garlic flavor, and the creamy white wine sauce was rich without being too heavy. The spaghetti was cooked perfectly, and the fresh tomatoes, basil, and Parmesan added just the right balance. The warm French bread was perfect for soaking up every bit of the sauce. This dish completely exceeded my expectations and has earned a permanent spot on my list of favorites. Basin 141 continues to impress with both its consistency and its willingness to surprise.

Green sauce resembles a chimichurri. Pretty good. Frites are crisp outside and starchy and soft inside. Well salted. But the sauce for fries is lacking in flavor. A simple ketchup would have been better. Ambiance is high end restaurant. It's great. Service was slow for us and they forgot the bread basket. We're kind of getting neglected in the side by the window. Overall: dina LA set $25 lunch is great deal.

And he is a French dip connoisseur! He's tried all the regular L.A staples--Philippe's, Cole's, etc.... But he says nothing compares to The Proper. Their burger is also wonderful. I've also had several of their fish dishes and have enjoyed them all. And you must try the warm butter cake. I'm normally a chocolate lover, but I dream about the butter cake from The Proper. I'm not a big drinker, but husband loves their Old Fashions and they have a fully stocked bar with lots of specialty cocktails as well. We love sitting in the long booths, which can comfortably fit our party of 2 adults, 2 kids and often 2 grandparents as well. The service is always wonderful and everyone is very friendly. My only complaint about The Proper is that I hate the parking lot. It's very tight and people don't pull up far enough. But that's a small price to pay for this wonderful local gem.

But I couldn't help but notice a recent review describing an interaction that I personally witnessed while I was there, and I wanted to add what I saw as an outside observer so there's a little more context to what happened. A couple asked the host for an extra chair, which she brought over, I assume thinking it was for a bag or personal belongings. They ended up putting their dog on the chair. A manager later came over and asked them to put the dog on the floor, and that's when the couple became upset and began arguing with the manager, basically yelling. What stood out to me was that as they were leaving, the woman stopped at the host stand, asked the host her name, started yelling the name out loud and then walked out. I'm not involved with either side and can only speak to what I personally saw, but I felt the interaction deserved a little more context rather than being presented entirely one-sided. My own experience at Black Cow was very positive. However the shrieking customers I can do without.
