I went to this location on Saturday feb 9 around 1030am, The receptionist at the front office informed Me I couldn't be seen anymore because the staff wouldn't be out by 11.. I have difficult veins to find so I've had bad experiences at other facilities, but this place is the worst. Certain individuals in the afternoon are particularly rude, arrogant, and incompetent. The wait is always long. Morning staff seems much better, but due to my schedule, it is difficult to go at that time. I wish my doctor would send me to lab corp :( read more

They are very slow , seems like only one person is working inside . They need to hire more people to do lab work. Our wait on a Tuesday 10am walk in is about 35 min, more wait inside after being called to go in . So total time when done about 1 hour. In my experience, this is the longest it took to get blood work ever! I ask front desk if I can make appt for future blood work, he said just walk in ? ? ? Also noted there's only 4 other people waiting outside and about 2 inside . The staff who works there are ok no problem there! read more

The service is good at quest, However the billing is the worst, I have been billed more then 5 times for the same test. They even sent me to collection and I paid it. Now again collections calling for the same test that were paid. The WORST I will have my doctor send me anywhere but there. DON'T go to Quest read more

I had to get my wellness exam for a third time in a month and refused to go to the original doctor so I made an appointment with Quest Diagnostics. They were fantastic! I greatly appreciated their friendliness and efficiency. I made an appointment three days out and checked in 5 minutes early. I was taken back on time, the nurse had my information already in the system and was able to complete my blood work and wellness exam in 15 minutes. The staff was wonderful and the facility was clean. I am definitely going back for my next wellness exam! read more

I'd like to rate this place higher because of how nice the staff is, but I can't. The lobby has a sign-in sheet to tell the staff whether or not an individual has an appointment and - if they do - what time that appointment is. There are signs posted all over the lobby telling customers to sign in. Why then does the staff not read the sign in sheet? My wife and I arrived at 11:00am for our 11:00am appointment. We signed in as requested and noted the appointment. After waiting around 20 minutes while the staff called customers in the order they signed in - regardless of appointment or not - my wife walked up to the counter to remind the staff of our appointment. They immediately took us right then and there. People's time is too important. They need to read the sign-in sheet and respect the appointments. read more

Yes, there was a wait, but if you are a walk-in then expect nothing less. This was my favorite experience with a phlebotomist. I had Freddie and he was so kind and explained everything well. He makes you feel at ease and although I find having blood taken fascinating, for those who hate needles would really appreciate Freddie. read more

I am astonished at the low level of professionalism and customer service I experienced on August 17, 2019. First, I'd checked out the website to be assured the facility was open on Saturday. In addition, my husband and I went to the facility on August 10th to make sure we were able to come in without an appointment and just a doctor's original order. The website showed the facility was open until 11:00. We arrived at 10:40. We were told that they were too busy to see us unless we had an appointment. I told the man sitting at the reception desk that I had to have the blood test because my doctor was trying new meds for my heart condition and wanted to make sure my kidneys were able to handle the dosage. He just kept repeating that they didn't have time and that I should have arrived earlier. I reiterated how important the tests were and that this was unnacceptable. Again, he refused to let me register. When I asked to please speak with someone else, a supervisor, he said that they didn't have any supervisor there. I expressed that I thought this was wrong and that I would follow up. The test was time sensitive, and Quest should have done their job. I have experienced more empathy and professionalism at McDonald's. It is frightening to realize how little concern can be shown by a medical facility when literally one's life is in their hands. read more

I brought one of my twins in for a urine test and they put the results under my other twin's name, so my doctor never got the results because it wasn't in the one twin's chart where the doctor kept looking. PLUS, the doctor ordered a specific test and they did the wrong test. It was supposed to be a "microalbumin ratio" and they only ran the "microalbumin" which the doctor said didn't tell him anything. Now we have to go repeat the test again. : ( read more

Sharing my msg to Quest today thru their website. I wish to file a formal complaint abt the customer service at the Town Center/Valencia, CA 91354 location, and employee Maribel M. Either your employees are disgruntled, or there are not enough employees to do the work. Customers are often left waiting at front desk, doors are closed 10 min prior to closing, and employee M. Maribel was extremely disrespectful to me and another customer waiting. She told me that I cld go elsewhere if I was not happy with her attitude. REALLY!? Actually this is the very reason I NEVER go to this location. This behavior has happened each time I have taken my elderly mother for testing. Another patient voiced the exact same sentiment. QUEST, pls train your employees to be polite, courteous and welcoming to unwell customers. And if they dislike their job so much, perhaps they shld consider an alternative career. I hope to be contacted by a QUEST manager to discuss this exchange I had with Maribel M. I do want to state than an older gentleman with greyish longer hair who does the blood draw is fabulous. Discovered that Henry Mayo outpatient labs now belong to Labcorp which is not an Anthem provider. Quest has only one collection facility here in SCV and there is a 4 day wait for appointments unlike their facilities in San Fernando Valley which have same day appointments. Expecting at least one hour wait which isn't fun when fasting. read more

It's probably not common place to review a business such as this, but I had such a wonderful experience here this morning, that I have to pass it on! :) I've had my blood drawn seemingly millions of times before, and let's be honest here, it's never "pleasant". I can actually say that this morning was! AND that was after getting 12 vials pumped out of me! I had to bring my 3 and 4 yr old with me, so it was nice that I got signed in, and was immediately taken back to get the process started. The phlebotomist that drew my blood was named Aretha, and she was a delight. One of the gentlest I've ever encountered. And very thorough in every part of her job. And she interacted with my son and daughter, so they didnt feel left out. She even let my daughter pick what color band-aid she should put on my arm, which she LOVED, so subsequently so did I. I will definitely request to be sent here by my other doctors from here on out. To say that I had an enjoyable experience, after fasting for 12+ hours, running on 5 hours of sleep and NO coffee, then getting drained of so much blood all at once.... yeah, I think that says it all! read more

We waited almost 45 minutes in a crowded waiting room for a blood draw. One woman working in the front, and one man in the back drawing the blood. Very slow!! Seems at the least, they should have another employee in the back office to lessen the wait time. We had an appointment too, didn't matter. read more

I explained to them what happened their answer was pretty much "they can't care less", they were RUDE, they got an attitude problem and they told me that I was considered a "walk-in" and I had to wait half hour - note there were only 3 people in front of me, at this point I erase my name off the list and walked out. Just had the misfortune, once again, and for the final time, of going to this location for labwork. This little twerp named Michael, who needs a haircut, tb to the 60's, had an attitude like he owns the place. He just refused service to my sick daughter, who needed a simple urine test before 9am. We arrived before 9am as instructed, and this ugly little twerp Michael refused to allow my daughter to pee into a stupid cup because Michael the little God said, "it's two minutes before nine and the doctors are really strict" with an attitude the size of the sun, superiority, flippancy, and rudeness. We got there at 8:50. If you can't get your labs done after two visits, this place is seriously deficient in customer service and customer care. Michael doesn't know what is going on in my daughters life and with her health, and to sit up there and refuse service as if this was a routine test for my daughter; it's clearly routine for them. If you want your labs done, go to Mission Hills, or anyone else for that matter. Avoid this twerp, the office, and their rigid rules. Never again. read more

If your doctor wants to send your labs to Quest, I'd highly recommend you decline. Get your blood sent elsewhere. My daughter's doctor sent her blood to Quest. We NEVER received anything in the mail with regards to a bill as we have an HRA account. We received one phone call back on May about a balance with them and if we didnt pay, we'd be sent to collections. I called my HRA and they had been trying to send checks to Quest for a month and they were getting bounced back. They informed me I could pay it over the phone with my HRA card, so I did. I went through Quest's automatic pay on the phone and completed the process. No more phone calls, no letters, we're good....so we thought. Yesterday....over 4 months later.....we received a notice from a collection agency. What the?!?! It even stated on the notice we had not received ANY bills in the mail as they were all returned by the post office as undelivered. These assholes never picked up the phone? We paid on their phone service...which obviously is faulty. They then do NOT notify us of an outstanding debt and instead just send us to collections even after they knew we hadn't received any bills they were sending. I've delt with Quest a few times over the years and there has not been one time that they performed even as minimally expected. Stay away from this company. Use another lab. They aren't worth your frustration. Please trust me...stay away read more

Overall experience was good. The waiting room was very full when I arrived, I had an appointment for the 3 hour glucose test and was seen right away. There is a separate room as someone else mentioned for those participating in the 3 hour glucose test. There were outlets for my electronics and the seats reclined. I did have to hunt down someone to help me during one of my timed draws but overall very clean facility and no issues with the multiple blood draws. Very nice staff. read more

So much inconsistency in every way. Some are professional, some are really not. Some know how to do a blood draw well, some are painful. Some know jow to run the computer system, some do not. None of them know how to get people through efficiently. And I have yet to find more than one who understands that many of the people coming in have serious health issues. read more

I had made an appointment for 11 and signed in at 10:48. It was a very busy day and it was my first time there, so I wasn't sure how they did things. 11:00 came and went. I heard them call the 11:15 appointment and thought that it was strange, but didn't say anything until they eventually called the 11:30 appointment. At this point, I spoke up and told them I had an 11:00 appointment. I even showed them my confirmation (thankfully I had taken a screenshot of the appointment confirmation), but got no apology. I looked at the sign-in sheet and noticed they had crossed off where I wrote that I had an appointment time of 11:00 and they told me they already saw the 11:00. They were treating me as a walk-in. I don't know about you, but I consider it common courtesy that if someone says they have an appointment, but you don't have it on your list, you should call them up and let them know you don't have them on your list to get clarification. I could've shown them my confirmation then and not had to have waited an hour for a appointment. I never got an apology from anyone at Quest - just one from the lady who had the 11:30 appointment who apologized for jumping in front of me. It wasn't even her fault! read more
