The first time we came was a walkin and we got there about 30 minutes before closing so we were not expecting much, just browsed around. We ended up making an appointment with Chanae the following week. We still felt as if we were not being taken seriously throughout the appointment. The selection was nice and we were told that the rings were customizable. But when we asked specifics for a specific ring it couldnt be done. I went in to create a custom ring made from a broken pearl ring I had and a 1917 amethyst gem I received from my great grandmother many years ago. The Quest employee wrote the ticket up as a repair not a custom design ring. Since the employee wrote the order as a repair, not a custom piece, it meant if during the making of the custom designed ring the jeweler scratched the gem it was not covered, because it was a repair not a custom designed piece. Unfortunately the jeweler scratched my 1917 amethyst gem even though I was told a laser (which cost more money) had to be used because the piece was so delicate. read more

Could not recommend this local jewelry store enough! Yasmeen went above and beyond helping me create the perfect engagement ring. She was incredibly responsive and knowledgeable. I went in once on a day she was not working, and other staff quickly and eagerly jumped in to help. Their rings come with a lifetime warranty unlike Brilliant Earth which requires you to purchase warranty plans and the price depends on the # of years you want protection plus the cost of the ring. I love that Quest it comes included. They also will cover half of the shipping cost if you move out of the area to have your ring inspected once a year and cleaned. She lacked the excitement of a sales person and overall vim. Our appointment was quick and it was entirely us asking questions and Sharyn taking notes. She barely asked any questions and frankly lacked professionalism (grabbed wrong diamond style, struggled with diamond tweezer). We wrapped and the followup was to obtain an estimate for our existing ring and source a few diamonds within our parameters. Sharyn told us she could have it all by a couple days time. We followed up with an email and once again summarized our needs. 7 days later, we still never heard from Sharyn. Not even a thanks for coming to see us email. This is an appalling lack of professionalism. Again, you cannot tell Sharyn is in sales with the ineffective speed to service and follow-up. We had such a great experience with this jewelry store! At the time, they were one of only two places that carried Verragio. From the start, the staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in helping my now husband find the perfect ring. They even offered the option to exchange the ring after the proposal, as long as it was still in its original condition and hadn't been customized--something that gave my husband a peace of mind(I'm picky) Since purchasing, we've brought the ring in regularly for cleanings and inspections. They offer a lifetime warranty, as long as you come in every six months, which is such a great benefit. We did miss one of our check-ins after having a newborn, and they were so understanding and reassured us not to worry. First time at Quest and Allison was so helpful and kind! I've only heard good things about Quest through friends and coworkers, so this was my go to when my eternity wedding band could not be resized and I needed some alternative options~ After some discussion and reviewing estimates we decided to make a new band using my existing diamonds and going a little more than half way around so that it can be resized if needed in the future! They gave me the left over diamonds for a new future project :) While there I also fell in love with another band so we added that as well! Allison helped check to see if it was safe for the 2 band styles I chose to be side by side. She said that the technician recommended a plain spacer band to help protect the diamonds since both styles had floating diamonds. We were greeted politely by the nearest associate upon entering, despite the fact that every associate was occupied with another customer. We had stumbled across their annual sale, so cupcakes and sweets were arranged along the window for a treat while you shopped. After another happy customer left, their associate checked in with us to see if we wanted assistance or were still browsing. After a circuit of the store and still seeing my hesitation, the associate suggested having a chat about a custom solution and put us in Pete's queue. For perspective: during our ring shopping excursion, we visited 5 different jewelers and went through the song-and-dance routine at each. It's fitting that our quest felt complete after Quest; no other shop came close in comparison. Their website offered the best inventory preview, the designs across the board were more innovative, and the sales staff were no-pressure. Other custom jewelers told us they couldn't do the requested nontraditional stone for the same reasons I had been concerned about after some research, but Pete at Quest figured out a way to combine every element I wanted! Some colored sharpies and pen sketches went a long way in helping me visualize my dream ring, and then we got into the nitty gritty of figuring out the center stone. I've been WAITING to write this review for a couple of months. I came in January with my then-boyfriend, now-fiance to look at engagement rings. This was the first time/place we went to look at rings and long story short, the ring is now sitting beautifully on my finger as I type this. He had explicitly requested Allison as she was the consultant for our friend's appointment as well. Let me start off by saying, Allison is incredibly sweet and she is so well-spoken. You can just feel her genuineness in wanting to help you find the perfect ring. She was great throughout our entire consultation, asking us in-depth questions about different stone options, sizing, shape, band material, the whole nine yards. I told her that I liked oval moissanite with a gold band but I wanted to add a little extra something to make it more unique but still really simple. She had recommended an encrusted gallery and gallery rail and came back with the display ring in the videos. It was exactly what I had in mind as you'll see in the other video/picture is what my ring actually looks like, the only difference being mine only has an encrusted crossbar. I had zero expectations heading into this appointment but I walked out really happy knowing that she had shown me exactly what I wanted. Started with really high hopes after a great first impromptu appointment where we narrowed it down to a couple of engagement rings. The owner said he could ask the manufacturer about the availability of a different metal (white gold instead of yellow) on one or smaller side stones on another - we were ready to buy after. We stumbled upon Quest during our search for engagement rings and we were pleasantly surprised at the selection they had. We went to 36 stores (I know crazy) searching for the perfect engagement ring. I wanted something classic but unique. Quest took our envision and brought it to life! They were able to order additional loose stones within days of request, brought in a representative from Gabriel & Co., and were able to work with our budget. Only complaint is when we asked for a few loose stones we were told they could only order three at a time due to the cost of shipping and insurance. Other stores we went to did not put a limit which allowed us the opportunity to truly get a feel for what size we wanted. With the supply chain issues most stores told us it would take 4-8 weeks to make our ring. Quest told us 4 weeks yet somehow got it to us within 2! The ring was even more beautiful in person. Robert S went through the entire engagement ring buying process himself so I will let him write about that but I recently purchased his wedding band here and was very happy with my experience. In an hour-and-a-half span, Daphne helped me choose a ring, feed me cupcakes, recommend a few wedding photographers, and make my engagement ring look sparkly new. Now that's service! On the other side of the store, Robert S worked with Daphne's husband Huan to choose my band. Huan's two brothers milled around the store to help other customers as well. We ended up going with one of his own customized designs that I fell in love with. He kept in touch with my fiancé until he was ready to purchase and helped him through every step of the way. Our second visit: We both came back to look at wedding bands and had another great experience. Pete was busy momentarily but another associate helped us start browsing until he got to us. She was also fantastic- helping me find my perfect band to match my engagement ring. I love that the band is nice and dainty to wear alone or alongside the engagement ring and compliment it rather than compete with it. Pete guided my fiancé into finding something he was comfortable with wearing (he's never worn any type of jewelry ever) and that he loves. The process was so easy and laid back. First, let me start off by saying something positive: I have been here with my friends a few times before they moved, Pete was always nice and welcoming, my friends ended up with satisfying engagement rings, wedding bands, and very happy marriages. Given the positive experiences my friends had, it was not a question to visit Quest when I inherited my grandmother's diamond stud earrings. I let Pete know that I would like to design and reset them into two necklaces, one for my sister and one for myself. Pete was very friendly and guaranteed that their jewelers are very experienced and can make any custom designs that fit their customers' needs. The problem started after I received both necklaces before my sister's wedding (the necklace was part of her wedding gift.) THEY WERE BOTH TILTED FORWARD. I emailed Pete about the problem, he told me to bring it back and they will fix it. I didn't have enough time to bring it back due to the approaching wedding day, plus with all the travels I had, I mistakenly assumed that a decent jeweler/business owner will do what's right despite when I bring it back to have the problem fixed. I must admit, tilted diamond necklaces were the last thing on my mind. Fast-forward to recent days after 2 years of pandemic (oh wait, is it over yet?) and their move to a new location, I went to Quest with my friend to shop for her engagement ring. I finally brought my necklace in and hoping Pete will honor a solution. It was a busy day and he was in a rush to get us out the door, without having me try on the necklace to fully understand the problem, he concludes the tilting was due to the 3-prongs setting. He ensures that changing it to a 4-prongs setting without the movable chain will resolve the tilting issue, and gave me the price of it right away. At that moment I was wondering 1) if the original setting would be an issue in the very beginning, why wasn't I informed? 2) do jewelers usually charge for fixing a defective product they produced? Pete informed me that the price is for the new setting and gold price has gone up; I then trusted his expertise with no doubt of his honesty, and left the necklace in their hands. A few weeks later I stopped by to pick up my necklace with Allison, the necklace was still tilted forward and now the left and right chains are uneven. Allison told me to bring it home and try it on for a longer time. I was doubtful on how time can balance the necklace, yet she didn't give me other options. After I have done a fair amount of research, tried a few necklaces at other stores, and consulted a few friends. The result is that great craftmanship and design are essentials to a balanced diamond necklace, whether it's a 3-prongs, 4-prongs, 6-prongs, on a movable/fixed/adjustable chain, and despite the carat size of the diamond. Unfortunately, when I brought my concerns and findings to Pete, he told me the reason he had me reset to a 4-prongs setting was because he thought the necklace was FLIPPING. He thought that the stone was flipping inside out vs tilting forward (to the ground). At that moment I was wondering 1) does this mean I could have kept a 3-prongs setting? 2) so... what he told me during the last visit was actually invalid? With a few more back and forth, Pete sums up the issue in the following: 1. A 3-prongs setting will always tilt what because of the uneven distribution of weight. 2. He didn't bring it up during the original setting because they tried to achieve what the customers want (even if there would be a problem?) 3. A diamond necklace will always tilt because our neck is constantly moving. 4. He has been working in this field since he's 15, and has designed for BIG companies like Tiffany and a few others (the conversation was getting unpleasant and I tuned out after the famous Tiffany, sorry to those who wanted his resume) 5. And to the GOLDEN question all customers want a decent answer to: What can you do to resolve the issue? His answer was - "NOTHING. This is the best you can get." - A tilted, uneven necklace. I am very puzzled as of what changed and what happened to the helpful and friendly Pete I met before. I also have to agree with another yelp reviewer's comment "The salespeople are polite, but not friendly or welcoming." No one acknowledges you when you first walk into the store, perhaps it's just me, I am very unnoticeable with my sweats nowadays. I must have mistaken "looking like a bum" for "loungewear is the new fashion trend." I acknowledged all the 5 stars review Quest has received, and noticed most of them are for engagement ring purchases. The other 3-stars reviews are also for issues related to resetting/customizing already owned jewelries (not from Quest). They had better luck than me because their issues were resolved, so I guess one star is for the old friendly Pete that I missed, and one star to support local businesses. I still think it is a place you should give it a chance when looking for an engagement ring. read more

Clearly this is a place that is recommended a lot through word of mouth since I haven't heard much about it. And it's definitely a hidden gem! (no pun intended). After taking Annie's advice, I decided to go visit the store and I was met by Jeri who became my ring specialist because I had no clue on what to look for. I knew I had to look for a ring using the 4 C's but I was waaaayyy out of my comfort area of knowledge. Jeri gave me plenty of options to work with and I felt so bad because I made it a VERY long process. (Im thinking about 6months long lol) But hey, I didn't want to just buy anything, it had to be something that stood out and something I knew that would make my fiance happy.
