Stopped here for a quick coffee this morning. It's on the rotation of places along my morning commute and I have to say that it doesn't disappoint. I don't sit in them, but I like that there are tables and chairs available. I like that the store seems relatively airy and bright. Every time I've come, the coffee station has been stocked with paper cups, plastic dome lids, straws and sleeves. This morning they even had my favorite Coffeemate "Italian Sweet Cream" creamer and it made me remember why I come to this location. (I cannot keep that stuff in the house; it disappears too fast!) The check out process was friendly and efficient. I also picked up a sausage, egg and cheese on an English muffin (rather than the sausage biscuit I normally go for) because I was too lazy to go and punch the order in at the deli. Meh. The SEC was totally fine and saved me at least five minutes. On the whole, good location with consistent stock. Recommend. read more

Store employee Heather refused to properly seal or staple DoorDash customers' food. I came by to deliver Brian from Paramus' food & beverage. His beverage had a seal & sticker but his bag was opened. I kindly asked for her to at least staple the customers' bag & she gave an attitude insisting that customers' food is just put in an open bag susceptible to be out in the open unsecure. Beware of this store and this employee Heather bringing down the integrity & standard of Quikcheck. read more

Horrible customer service experience. Accidentally left my credit card there. Went in next day and person behind register said they have it and to come in during day to see manager in order for them to get it out of safe. When I went in I asked guy at register for manager and he sent me to sandwich station to talk to Maria the manager. Basically, Maria told me she was too busy to check. I asked her if she was serious and she gave me the look of death and ignored me. Knowing that you can't reason with stupidity I calmly walked out, called my card company to report as lost and now have to wait 7 to 10 business days for a new card. With that said, thank God 7-11 opened up at gas station down street. I'll be going there from now on. Never had a problem with their customer service since they've opened!!! read more

Ordered from here at 2 AM due to severe late-night hunger pain. I got buffalo chicken mac and cheese and my friend got a meatball sub sandwich. We shared some fries too. I was gonna say you get what you pay for, but honestly McDonald's is cheaper and so much better. The meatballs are literally rubber and the mac and cheese is mush. Definitely wouldn't come back here. read more

Drove away this morning (approx. 11:45) after buying a container of hazelnut coffee and a buttered roll. PROBLEM: coffee was Cinnamon (which I hate) in Hazelnut carafe and roll had so little butter that it was impossible to see. This place has gone to hell. It was also dark and messy, with shelves that needed re-stocking. Also missing was friendly customer service - replaced by miserable, unfriendly young girl behind counter. The cashiers have me waiting for them to finish their employee fountain drink purchases without acknowledging me after making eye contact, all while they finish their conversation about their personal lives. Definitely not the best quick check. My friend that comes in here for a pack of cigarettes is the same age as me 21 and she continuously gets carded by the SAME lady no matter what. I almost think this woman is doing it purposely to piss her off. The food is not good at all, the workers are absolutely miserable. I usually find myself stopping here when I'm in the Emerson area. I used to always called Quick Chek "The Wawa's of the north". While the two stores may not be identical, they both have the same exact things like: Hot and cold deli sandwiches made to order threw a touch screen, Grab and go breakfast sandwiches, An enormous selection of coffee, Junk food, Healthy snack options, and of course, beverages galore. read more

The sandwich deli has gone downhill over the years. Too much turnover in staff. Staff poorly trained. Today I ordered an Italian sub with no onions, vinegar, and NOT mayo. Of course, I got mayo and DOUBLE onions. Geez. They were busy, so obviously no attention to detail. But even when they are not busy, they don't make your order correctly. I normally do not write reviews but I had to just throw this out there. every time I come to this quick Check in Emerson and forgive me I'm not sure if she is Indian and I don't know her name but the woman that makes the sandwiches is extremely rude! there has multiple times I have given her my order number and said what my food is and she plays dumb like she has no idea what I'm talking about before she gives up because she doesn't have a choice, and then my final straw was today when she sat there talking to her coworker ignoring the fact that I was standing there waiting for my food! I had to interrupt them and let her know I was there waiting for my food. I plan to contact the store manager because that is unacceptable come on you can't just ignore your customers! Spent well over 40 minutes waiting for the prepared food here. There was precisely two people in front of me with a total of 3 items between them and then 3 items for myself. I came here for a quick sub because I was hungry from a disappointing dinner. I didn't expect to be disappointed again... 1. Got a toasted meatball marinara...the bun was nice and toasty except the meatballs are COLD. 2. The person at the register kept pushing me to buy a cookie after I declined the first and second time. 3. For a nice rich town, there are WAY too many cops in this parking lot. I tried and tried to give this place a chance but they are horrible compared to the other ones. Their sandwich making is so slow that when I am On break for work, I can't risk to get a sandwich because it takes nearly half of my break to get. Their coffee is out about half the time I go and I have to wait for that too. The bathrooms are filthy and disgusting all the time especially during the night shift. I have also found that they never bag any of my things which is annoying because I usually get arms full of things to bag. The other stores have never had this problem. read more

This location is pretty much the same as all the others. The staff has no clue at times, and sandwich making goes pretty slow depending on what's going on. It's not really a bad place to go though. The coffee is pretty good, toss up between here and 7-11. Their sugar cookies are out of this world though!! read more

Sandwich was fine. Got an Italian sub. Place is very clean, and atmosphere is warm and upbeat. Lots of diffident people form different walks of life show up here. Verizon people, some with expensive cars, a local municipal worker now and then Staff is nice and friendly. Been there late at night and feels very safe. I work down the road from here and often come here for lunch. Everyone here is really friendly and I love the food. I ordered a tuna wrap one day and they were out of tuna. The extremely sweet guy making the food offered to make any kind of wrap for the same price. I said turkey was fine and he threw in avocado as well which was awesome. Wanted to try the new Santa Fe Eggrolls but they were sold out. Friendly deli clerk offered to make me a 6 inch Philly Cheese Steak for the same price. Bread was fresh and crunchy. Adequate amounts of steak and mozzarella which were delicious I could easily pay the extra for more toppings. Tasty sandwich and great service at a low price. read more

No one here makes sandwhiches right .. omly one who knows what theyre doing is the blonde lady whos always there. The manager lady with black hair is lazy an is always just sitting in the back an bossing people around and I've seen her mishandle many situations also one time she rung me out and i left a scratch off on the counter next thing you know its missing i go back inside once i realize and shes missing as well read more

First review on yelp so I hope the reason why I'm leaving one will help. First off after a long night at work and getting stopped and ticketed on my way here I was optimistic that a nice hot sandwich would satisfy me and just move on and call it a night.maybe 1am, 3 orders in front of me, my Gf and I order was simple.6' cheese steak, 12' cheese steak with maybe 4 toppings tops. The staff was extremely nice (always nice every time). however the kind clerk was clueless on honoring a coupon I had available. I didn't want to make his night hard so I told him no worries. It was obvious management has not done their job in training them correctly. I live about 10 minutes away.and when I got home my "hot sandwich" was very cold (and I mean cold). when I opened it the cheese was still sold and you could tell the meat was cold, not only by its look but how it felt. I was not that upset but wanted what I payed for.I returned to QC and politely informed them and their solution was to microwave it (could've done that at home). once again politely asked for NEW one and it was done for me. Very apologetic and sincere. but when I got home it was still kind of cold and soggy. Sucked it up, gave them the benefit of the doubt because of the drive home. decided to just microwave it anyway and ended up burning my hand. Sandwiches are always cold. I bought one sandwich, 3 different months, each time was cold. Once the side order of coleslaw that came with it, was put on the sandwich itself. Bathrooms are a cesspool and that's probably due to the crew of loiterers permitted to hang out there, known locally as the "Waterhead Crew". Always there early evening until the wee hours.
