My mom came in for a haircut and threading. The haircut was fine but they left so many scars on her face from threading! Literally broke through the skin over 20 times. She had bumps from the scabs for 2 days then they settled down and left marks. When the lady was threading my moms face she told her she made 1 small scab near the chin but then when we got home we could see multiple areas along her cheeks. My mom even told her she had a wedding to go to so she didn't want any scars and the lady told her she'll be fine. I would just stick to haircuts here. read more

Keep in mind that I came here at around 7, closing time is at 8. Anyways, I came to get my hair layered and requested a v shape hairstyle, however i did not end with a v shape haircut, nor did I even get nice layers. It was very choppy and the stylist seemed like she was in a rush to go home rather than making sure it looked good. Since my hair was damped with water, I requested to blow dry my hair. She refused and made up excuses on why she shouldn't and I walked out of the salon with wet hair. The stylist Gave me lots of attitude throughout the whole process. My mom usually pays $12-$15 for a haircut + layers here, but she charged me $25 for a hairstyle that was rushed. I rather pay $50 and walk out of the salon with what I wanted, very happy at another salon. Don't waste your time and good looks here people. One of the worst cuts and examples of following instructions. I asked for a simple haircut and to barely trim the front of my hairstyle as I'm trying to grow the front out. I received a cut where all hair is the same length, chopping off the front and a hair 'stylist' that was preoccupied with other things, at several points, during my cut. I don't usually leave reviews but this was the worst hair cut I've ever gotten. The wait was at least a half hour (even at an off peak time) but the actual hair cut was literally 5 minutes. She cut my hair with as much care as a butcher throwing away the scraps. My side burns weren't even or straight, I had to shave them and clean myself up at home. She asked how long I'd like it AS she was already cutting my hair. There was no attempt to fade or blend my hair. It was an insultingly brief hair cut, not worth $12 even. Maybe it was just the woman I got but this was a terrible experience. I guess you get what you pay for. Please spend some money elsewhere where they'll at least pretend to care about your hair cut. read more

My daughter needed a haircut, badly. Our usual stylist sadly retired several months ago. Based on yelp reviews, we decided to give Quick Cuts a try. Thank you fellow yelpers, we were NOT disappointed!! The salon was very clean and was nicely decorated. There was also a cute little blue race car styling chair for kids. My daughter was greeted by Alice, who also cut her hair. Alice did a fantastic job! She did exactly what my daughter asked for, with finesse. The cut was $18. I think their pricing sign might be a bit off. Regardless, $18 is a great price and I will be bringing my family here in the future. read more

Called to make an appt LIKE their ad on yelp says made an appt for 515 pm arrived at 507 and was told their are two haircuts ahead of you-- I said I made an appointment --was told THEN it's walk-in only I asked why I wasn't told that when I called and made appt--got a big song and dance and lots of excuses. I stopped in at Quick Cuts after having making an appointment at SuperCuts across the street and the women being so rude that I ended up leaving and coming here. I am soo glad I did! I was looking to get Bayalage dye job done to my hair. I wasn't even sure that they did color, based on the name, but they said they did and would do it right then and there. I was shocked that they were willing to take me as a customer only an hour before they were set to close. I showed Lillian (sp?) a photo of what I wanted and it came out EXACTLY how I wanted. It's an OK place if you keep in mind that they always cut off more than you ask them to (regardless of cutter). Every cut is a short cut if you are a guy with medium long or less hair. There is no such thing as a trim an i have been there over 20 times. My wife says they are bad haircuts but I think it is just short. Having just moved to Burbank, I was unsure of where to get my hair cut. A local favorite, Chuck's, has odd and rather unpredictable business hours, the Supercuts seems to be shuttered, and most everything else within walking distance seemed to cater to women. I found Quick Cuts by accident while walking down the street, because their presence on Google is negligible. The advertised price - and the fact that it bucks the Burbank small business trend of closing before dinner - drew me in. I must say that I am impressed. The wait was short, and the staff was friendly. When my stylist began my cut, it was like watching an artisan at work. Ilania(?) was meticulous and thorough: no hair escaped the surgical precision of her clippers, no sideburn went unbalanced. The haircut took a little longer than I'm used to at the national chains, but the extra time was spent with her zoomed in on my scalp, searching for any forgotten follicles. And what did I pay for such treatment? Nine bucks, plus tip. Even including the tip, it was still cheaper than a basic cut at a chain. I must caution that they have tiered pricing for men and women, and I'm not sure how they get away with that, since gender-based price discrimination is illegal under California law. My mens' haircut was $9, while a "short-haired woman's cut" is $10. Longer hair costs more because it takes longer, but that extra dollar might rankle on principle to women with shorter hair. Hopefully they account for this in the future. Whatever their pricing structure for others may be, I was quite pleased with the quality and value of the service I paid for. I thought I had finally found a decent hair cut place with reasonable prices & great service. Well, my opinion has changed as of this weekend. I have two daughters who are 2 1/2 & 3 yrs. 11 months old. I couldn't believe the hairdresser was charging me more for one daughter because in her words, "she was more difficult, harder." I've never had this experience anywhere else. First time & last time I take them there. As a parent, I was insulted. Do you charge more for difficult adults too? Besides, my daughter was acting & being her age. She was so excited to get in the car to get her hair cut. I don't feel I'm exaggerating but just being honest. I am confused on the poor quality of the simplest hair cut my daughter got and all those stars this place gets, maybe we got a student?! I took my daughter here looking for a simple trim. I was going to do it myself, but thought I should let professionals do the work. When we got home I brushed her hair and noticed her hair not straight. A chunk of hair in the middle is longer than the rest. And as I looked at it closer it seems the whole haircut is choppy. Very unhappy. Maybe ask for Emma and nobody else per the reviews on here. Maybe I just got an inexperienced stylist. I thought, well I get what I paid, but won't be coming back. Went in for a haircut and asked for layers, but did not receive them. I returned and asked the lady to fix my hair and she was obviously frustrated with this. She sat me down in the chair and began brushing my hair out and was so frustrated with my tangles that she cut a chunk out instead of brushing it out and cutting it correctly. My hair is super short and choppy and completely not what I asked or payed for. The fact that she had the audacity to cut a chunk of my hair out without brushing it because she was frustrated absolutely blows my mind. Came here for a quick haircut and the first thing I have to say was that it is very affordable. A men's haircut cost me only 9$. The lady cutting my hair was pretty friendly but seemed to rush through my haircut without much quality and care. So you are basically getting the service you pay for; 9$ a cut. Overall, I was fine with my haircut but understood that considering the price, it was expected. Probably won't coming here again but if you are pressed for time and just need a quick cut this is an okay place to go! read more
