This review may not be helpful, as I didn't actually schedule services with Quick Key. But I did call, at 10:15 on a Friday night when I got home from a work trip and didn't have my keys, to get an emergency locksmith service. Call was answered right away and the associate was already getting it dispatched right away when I was able to get in. He sounded happy for me. Not mad that I wasted his time. Also he waited until I was definitely inside before ending the call. This is for sure who I will call in the future for any lock services, emergency or otherwise. After showing the tech the locks and door handles to be fixed he got straight to work. 40 min later everything was repaired and keyed as requested for a very reasonable price. I'll be honest, I'm not one to write yelp reviews, but I felt it was necessary in this case! I stupidly forgot to take my keys with me today and locked myself out of my apartment. It was almost 6p so most locksmith places were already closed. I looked up locksmiths on yelp and came across Quick Key because they were within a mi and a half from my apartment and didn't close until 7p! When I called, they were super nice and told me a technician would be at my place in 30-40min, which was totally reasonable because other places I've used in the past (yes this has happened before) have quoted 1-2hrs. The technician (Jacob) called me when he was on his way and then again when he arrived. He was able to unlock my apartment door in under 5 minutes (#ProStatus) and was incredibly nice and helpful! In the past I've paid about $75 for this kind of job and today I paid $100 (its $110, and used a $10 yelp discount!), but honestly between how nice the staff were, how quickly they arrived, and how easily I was able to get into the apartment it was 100% worth the extra $25.
