Yummy Chinese food that's made to order. Easy to place your order over the phone to pick up within 15 minutes. Staff is always friendly, and the portions are big. It's always busy whenever I go and pick up by order. We easily get 3-4 servings from each item we order. We always order: - Orange peel chicken: crispy chicken in an orange sauce with chili peppers, not spicy at all - House special fried rice: pieces of shrimp, chicken, and beef all stir fried with rice, egg, and veggies. Very delicious - Shrimp chow mein: thick noodles stir fried with veggies and shrimp

I am a very happy gal!!! Wow!! This delicious kung pow beef lunch special is huuuge the portion is basically enough for lunch and dinner for me. I chose a salad today and it came with a dumpling that was so yummy it didn't get a chance to join the group photo. Will definitely be back since I'm just minutes away. Customer service is phenomenal very friendly I believe the owner is a one man show he took my order then got to making it right away and it came out incredibly fast,fresh, and flavorful!!!! I was very impressed

Easy 5/5 for Quick Wok in Sabre Springs, San Diego. I always go for the Kung Pao beef lunch plate--it's my absolute favorite. The flavor is spectacular every single time, with the perfect balance of heat, savory sauce, crunchy water chestnuts, peanuts, and that silky-crispy beef texture that keeps me coming back. I've been eating here for 17 years, all the way since I was a junior in high school, and it's still just as good as I remember. The owner and her family run the restaurant, and they are genuinely some of the sweetest people you'll meet, which makes the experience even better. In my opinion, this is the best Sichuan-style Chinese food in California. If you're anywhere near Sabre Springs, it's a must-try.

Fresh, tasty, made to order food! Tons of vegetarian options! I tried the orange peel tofu and veggie chow mein. The owners are also so kind. I didn't know what to order and they made tons of recommendations without making me feel rushed.

I took some time looking up Chinese food around the area and this had a pretty good rating. I called in for a lunch pick up order. The lady was so nice and I was excited. Wish I could say for the food definitely old chicken. It's dry. There was no sauce and I got bits of dried up batter barely any chicken they seasoned it well, I'll give that to them. I also ordered cream cheese wonton. I did not cream cheese. So disappointed.

Quick Wok is one of my favorite lunch spots to grab lunch whenever I'm in the Sabre springs area . Service is amazing always . Highly recommend ordering by phone for pickup if you're in a rush . The center also has good parking .

First time trying this spot and it did not disappoint. This place is a family owned business and you can tell that they take pride in their food and service. The people were friendly and welcoming, the seating area can fit maybe a few groups of people, and it had a good stream of customers coming in, some seemed like regulars. I had the lunch special, which is around $11, and you get to choose from a long list of entrees, I had the broccoli beef, steamed rice or for an extra 50 cents (which is what I did) you can have fried rice, a choice of either small house salad or hot n sour soup, and a choice of cream cheese wonton or pork dumpling. I decided to not have an appetizer this time, but the portions they gave were more than enough. The ingredients were fresh tasting, the fried rice was really good, but I have to say the broccoli beef was perhaps one of my favorites in San Diego. The beef is thin strips and not the fatty thick pieces you normally get. This beef was very well seasoned, and practically melts in your mouth with how tender it is. I highly recommend becoming a regular at this place, I know I will be.

I live just a short distance from Quick Wok and am sometimes lured to visit by the wafting aroma of stir-fry chicken or beef. Always greeted with a smile by whomever is on duty. Food is reasonable and tasty! Small, comfy atmosphere if dining in (of course, I take it home). Fortune cookies have always been fresh and crisp. Haven't found a cookie without a fortune yet...hehe read more

This guy knows how to use a Wok for sure. I love this place so much that I had separation anxiety when I had to move offices a couple years ago. The withdrawals have got better, and luckily my new job puts me in that area a couple of times a week. Lots of good things on the menu but the house special chicken with vegetables is pretty much what I want for lunch everyday of my life. Enjoy! read more

Skimpy size for a pork friend rice meal, bad service, and tasted suprisingly badly. Ingredients such as carrots are obviously not fresh. Over-priced, bad decor. It's better than nothing if you're desperate. Looks like the only game in town for miles. read more

I ate there with my Dad awhile back and I haven't been back since. My Dad saw that it was not very clean in the kitchen and commented on that. I didn't feel good after we ate. The food tasted ok, the service was so, so, it was served fast enough. I might try it again to compare it to other places. read more

Worst Chinese chicken salad I've ever had. The chicken was awful. Chewy, overcooked. Same with the orange chicken. Won't go back there. Panda express is better and I'm not a huge fan of theirs either. Pei Wei is way better. read more

Traveling through and checked out Yelp for some dinner advise. Quick Wok did not disappoint. Staff is friendly and the food was fresh, delicious and incredibly quick. We had the fried cream cheese wontons, house beef and black bean chicken. Highly recommended. read more

Man!!!! I had the house chicken and I have to say it was surprisingly fantastic. The hot and sour soup on wasn't watered down. The facility was very clean. I wasn't expensive but it was a little more than a typical restaurant and that is okay. Service was good. I will look for this place again when I'm work in the neighborhood. 5 stars read more

I ordered take out here for the first time. The food was not what I expected. Orange peel chicken and orange peel tofu were terrible. The chicken was very dry and chewy almost seemed like leftovers. I didn't realize the potstickers were fried. The flavor was fine but would have preferred steamed. The mushroom chicken was the only good part of the meal. Disappointed. read more

so again, the quest for a good chinese place begins... but wait, could it be? YES!!! we found something that didn't let us down on our first, second and third try!!! the food here is made fresh and fast and their everything seems to be good... we tried their house beef, mongolian beef, szechuan beef and house chicken our first time and we were blown away by how good it was... even their house fried rice was amazing... if your looking for a new place like most of us seem to do in the san diego area, try qwick wok... you will be happy i think. read more

One Word..... NASTY! I looked on yelp for some good chinese in the area and went with quick wok because they had the best reviews. So we ordered 40 dollars worth of food and took it home. Not one item was good or even EATABLE! We tossed EVERYTHING and went out for Italian!!!! read more

Went to have a nice dinner with my wife showed up at 730pm and this location was closed when the sign said it was closed at 9pm. Ruined a perfectly good date night. Not happy at all. Please stay open even if you are slow on business because there might be that one couple that would like your noodles at 730-8pm at night read more

Best Chinese food ever! They are so fast and so good! I come to quick wok every time I have that Chinese food craving and I am never let down! Love love love this place! I go to other Chinese restaurants and am disappointed. Have been going here for years. Prices are great. Love the sweet and sour shrimp, shrimp lo mein, family loves the house special chicken... cream cheese wontons are delish. But my most favorite dish is the honey walnut shrimp. YUM! Don't let the prices fool you. The weekday lunch menu is a bargain: every dish is cooked to order and fast! My recommendation: the walnut chicken, curry chicken, House Special beef. Their sweet and sour soup is habit-forming. I eat here about twice a week. read more

Sorry--this place is not good. Bummer b/c I had high hopes. Stopped by a couple nights ago. Food was not tasty. Chicken tasted burned and had virtually no flavor (and that was the House Special!). Pork was very dry. Very disappointing and I am not a Chinese Food Snob in the least. Maybe it was a bad night but my experience matches a couple of the other negative reviews. Um, I'm obsessed. My family's been coming here ever since I was a toddler, and now I've adopted the tradition. I am a huge fan of their shrimp fried rice, honey walnut shrimp, and their cream cheese wontons. Personally, I haven't had better cream cheese wontons anywhere else. To add insult to injury it was BURNED so badly that all you could smell was burnt dough and taste burned dough. Hardly any sauce on it as well. The Shrimp Fried Rice should have just been plain white rice for how bland it was. The Vegetable Chow Mein literally was just a container of salt. Slim noodles and salt, disgusting! We spent so much money and all of this is going right into the garbage. Stay away from this hole! It should be shut down for trying to poison people. Feels like I am going to go blind from the amount of salt I ingested from only a few bites. Gross!!

We ordered orange chicken, Chinese style fish and something else. Again, this was on the thought that we could order more than one item on our selected menu. So imagine our surprise when the bill was nearly $100 for two people? It was a misunderstanding. However, the initial staff gentlemen was completely rude about it and ignored us as we sought to understand. Finally, a second female server came and heard our concerns regarding the false advertisement and unclear messaging. She was able to provide us the price we thought this was for based on Menu selection. All in all - I don't recommend the AYCE option. I think it would be important to make a distinction that AYCE clearly on the menu and at the front - AYCE means each individual selects ONE entree (which is a one small portion) and the AYCE component of the deal is ONLY for the side buffet.

Some of my favorites are the mushroom Chicken, house special beef and the black pepper beef with no onions. All the food is made to order so it is always fresh. The food comes with steamed or fried rice and a gyoza. If you eat there you get the option of a soup or salad but if you order to go it's a salad but it's really good. If you order the house special fried rice a la cart, you are good to go. It's fried rice mixed with chicken, beef, pork and shrimp and they are very generous with the meat. Any entree you order comes with white rice. One down side: the chow mein is super greasy!!!! I have tried it a few times hoping it was a one time mistake but no, it is simply greasy!! Yuck. Get the house special Chicken with Fried rice for the lunch special. i am actually looking at this one star review as I am typing this right now and can't believe how pretentious sounding this individual is. They must have been de-friended on Facebook right as their food was served to them. There is no way this place is worth a 1 star review. The won Ton soup is top class, the sweet and sour soup served with lunch is great, the kung pow shrimp is awesome, and I could keep going. We ordered Chicken and mushroom, fried rice, as well as spicy beef. Over all, it sucks. It was not very tasty and appetizing at all. The chicken was bland and the beef was hard to chew.
