Ordered a drink on Door Dash last week and it came with boba. Ordered the exact same thing as last time however this time no boba. I called to ask why that was and was told it was my fault for not going to a completely different section to add in boba in their toppings. I didn't have to do that last time so I don't understand why a week later that's changed. There were no instructions on there to say I needed to do that either. So if you order through door dash, go ahead and assume what you should do and hope you get your order the way you want it. So disappointed in this and lack of clarification through Door Dash. Should update it so people know or add into your milk teas an option to have boba so people don't assume they automatically come with boba since it did the first time I ordered it. read more

Unfortunate that this is one of the few boba places in the area. We were on a trip to Big Sur and stopped by Monterey to check out the nearby beaches and get some grub. My wife was desperate for some boba and I advised against going to Quickly as they have a bad rep in my hometown in Hacienda Heights. First off, the customers before us were waiting forever for their bubble waffle. The customers came back multiple times during my twenty minute wait for boba and did not get their waffle before I left. There were no other customers besides us mind you. Once I got the boba, I knew it was typical Quickly quality. 100% syrup and boba that's a little too undercooked. Not worth the money at all. read more

I came here on the weekend to finally try Quicklys at Cannery since we only have one real boba place in Monterey, but honestly I wasn't that impressed. First, the location is sort of hidden in an indoor shopping mall, which makes it hard to find, or at least I know I had trouble finding it. Secondly, the prices are sort of up there. Quicklys in other areas charge $3.50 for milk tea while at Cannery they charge $4.75 for almost every drink except for smoothies and others. We ended up paying almost $7 for a small Okinawa milk tea with tiny boba since they ran out of regular boba. But, I guess that's the price we pay for having a boba shop in a touristy area. Thirdly, the customer service is alright. The people are nice but the guy at the cashier when we ordered an Okinawa Milk Tea asked my boyfriend how to spell Okinawa... it was a little weird considering you'd think they'd know how to spell all the drinks on their menu??? Not to mention the tea was overloaded with tons of brown sugar syrup. Even after mixing it, all I could taste was syrup, it was definitely too sweet to finish.. My first yelp review! I'm trying out a new hobbie lol! Woohoo~ Anyways, I live in the bay area, so there's a ton of boba shops I've visited. We also have many MANY quickly's around the area. Me and my boyfriend decided to come down for the weekend for a little get away! As we were walking around Cannery Row's little mall they have, we stumbled upon Quickly's~I was so shocked because I have been to Monterey countless of times, but they aren't really known to having any boba shops in the area. So of course I had to purchase something! The quickly's there, is pretty small. Basically a stop and go food stand. I wish I took pictures but for a stop and go stand it was super cute! The walls were orange and had giant utensils as decoration. Their food set up/station was pretty out in the open. The only food they have are mochi waffles and egg puffs. The worker there also mentioned they sell tea eggs and siao pao, but they didn't have any at the moment. I ordered a matcha mochi waffle which was super good!!!! Definitely recommend. I noticed that the girl working there would wash the blenders in the sinks rather than using those boba pressure washers I see up in the bay. I came around noon I say?? But there was only one worker at the time, and I wish I got her name but she was super sweet! She helped me out with a drink I was confused with which was the tiger milk tea. It can either be the classic milk tea with Thai or Thai with black tea. I told her I didn't really want it as sweet so she preferred I picked the one with black tea! As my toppings which is a .75 cent charge, I got egg pudding. My boyfriend got a berry smoothie with crema! I'm assuming they make it every other day or week because she did let us know she just made some which is awesome (for the freshness) overall this new shop deserves 5 star!!
