L: Jasmine Flavored Tea and green tea with Passion Fruit, and Lychee jelly. Hee

Jasmine green tea and green tea with lychee jelly and passionfruit! Lol how both these teas come out completely different colors is beyond me, but my tea tasted really strong get sweet?! And I did not want any sugar. I ended up waiting for all the ice to melt before I drink the rest of it, but it seemed like there were young teenagers working there, and they were polite, but I'm sure if they just have a weekend job. Lol. Everything was fast and organized with my order, I just don't understand why the tease came out two different colors. I also thought it was cute how they had a number of different Schlotzky's one could buy out in front as well as Asian snacks! Hee

After visiting the aquarium, we were digging a cold drink! Came across this small shop a few minutes away from the aquarium. The owner was giving out free samples, which is what helped us make our decision! We got two drinks. Thai tea with egg pudding and vanilla Chai. They were both pretty good! Not too sweet! Just how we like our drinks. Pricing was fair and good size drinks. Overall I recommend this tea shop!

Me and my sisters came here for a refreshing drink. We both ordered a Tiger milk tea boba. Not only did the drinks come out slow but it wasn't even what we ordered. The drink we got tasted like soap/ dirty water . We complained to the lady who made it, she did seem new at the job but was nice. Apparently she made us the TJ drink? The owner was there as well. The owner was nice about it and gave us the nasty drinks for free. We then showed her pictures of what we wanted. The owner told the lady if she knew how to make it. The lady she does know how to make it blah blah blah. We waited for like 20 seconds then BOOM we got our drinks. Here's the funny part. She made the drinks wrong again. The lady made us freaking thai tea. No wonder it only took 20 seconds. There's a clear difference between a tiger milk tea and thai tea. The thai tea was okay but it wasn't what we ordered! Staff needs better training or something.... I would definitely not come again.

The two staff working were super friendly. We ordered a hot ginger milk tea with red bean. We also ordered an iced classic milk tea. We then got cold from the weather and asked if they can make it hot, and they helped us heat it up. The staff are very kind. The boba was a little chewy but not too bad. Drinks were too sweet for me so next time I would ask for things to be less sweet. There's a little area outside with snacks if you want to purchase any.

I gotta keep it real:…read more Finding good AZN food in Monterey County is like unicorn hunting. You'll have an easier time finding a sugar daddy (or mama) at Pebble Beach or Carmel by the Sea. Judging by the name and playful monkey mascot, Cong N Go may not look like a spot serving up seriously delicious and flavorful SE AZN cuisine BUT they are! Owned by two Cambodian sisters, one holds it down in the FOH while the other is cheffing it up in the kitchen. Indoor seating but they have dog-friendly outdoor seating upon request (two tables). F O O D * Sach Ko Jakak: Cambodian Beef Satay (3 pc-$14) The marinated, tender beef skewers were sweet-savory with aromatic lemongrass flavor and nicely charred, slightly crisp edges. I forgot to ask if they offer sticky rice but it would've been the ideal accompaniment. * Fried Chicken Wings w/ jeow som dipping sauce, rice ($18) Perfectly done, the massive whole chicken wings were shatteringly crunchy on the outside and juicy inside. The "crack sauce" (jeow som) was bright and punchy, hitting all the right notes...salty, tangy, sweet, garlicky, and slightly spicy. Served with steamed rice and fresh veggies. * Kuy Teav Cha: Cambodian Stir-Fried Noodles w/ pork, shrimp ($18) Savory, slightly sweet, and umami, the soft, chewy rice noodles came with tender pork, shrimp, and a boiled egg. Raw bean sprouts, cilantro, green onions, and peanuts brought welcome freshness and crunch for a well-balanced dish. S E R V I C E Friendly, attentive, and prompt. Even tho we were the only ones outside, I appreciate that Thea checked on us and kindly offered water to my dogs. A M B I A N C E Casual, modern with about 8-10 tables inside. Overall, Cong N Go is such a gem in Monterey County for deliciously satisfying and flavorful SE AZN food. Def recommend if you're coming from the SF Bay Area and craving AZN comfort food during your staycation. As I was leaving, I was eyeing their housemade pandan coconut chiffon cake in the cold case...which gives me an excuse to return!

Bottom Line: The little cafe you are looking for…read more Screw it, I'm updating my review. We just spent five days in Monterey for race week and stayed in the Hotel next door to this spot. There are a half dozen other breakfast spots in town that we enjoy when we are in Monterey - we blew all of them off. This place is too fast and too good, honestly to want to get in the car and head over to any of those other spots. Is this place fancy? No. Is this place big? No! Its tiny! Is the food gourmet? No! Stop asking questions. The food is delicious and hot. The coffee and tea is yummy and hot. Everything is hot. The people are super friendly and hot. I like how real they are too - it's Saturday at 6am, everyone is dragging. I asked the people behind the counter how they were doing and they were (gasp) honest! We don't want to be here! Getting to work at 5am on Saturday is terrible but I respect and appreciate a human response. I really like this place - even the pastries are good and thats a good thing because we bought a bunch of them. I will end with this and then leave you alone - we left this place at 615am and sat down in the main grandstand in Turn 4 at Laguna Seca at 715am to watch epic Historic car racing and sank my teeth into a HOT and beautiful croissant breakfast sandwich with bacon in it in the heavy fog. Everything was wet and cold - I drank my hot tea and ate my food.... and it was simply glorious. Thank you to the real humans at Plumes. Yall rock.
