We come here often because it is convenient and their popcorn chicken was juicy with good portions. Not sure what happened, but quality of chicken gone down, taste old and not as juicy anymore. Drinks are bland and not worth the money. The tea and the seasonal fresh fruit drinks are watered down. Barely taste the avocado. Won't be returning. read more

Relatively new location. It's in a pretty big plaza and the way to find out where it is, is to find the grand opening sign they've had up for the past few months. It's by the lake so you can definitely take advantage of the view after you pick up your drink/food. It's very spacious unlike other Quickly's I've been to. The huge downside though is that they're understaffed over half the time I've been there. The last two times I've gone in, there was only one employee manning the cash register, making drinks and food and cleaning up. read more

Amazing find in this little shopping center! The location has a beautiful waterway behind the building and the establishment is very clean. The Mochi Waffles were a big hit and the Tiger Milk Tea is a favorite of mine. If you like other tasty snacks or light meals, there is a huge variety of Asian delights. Where all of your fried food fantasies come true! This place has a mind boggling menu of everything you have ever guiltily enjoyed from every cuisine around the world that was fried and delicious- egg waffle, fries, pot stickers, popcorn chicken, takoyaki, gyoza... it is all here, salivatingly delicious and as the name says, quickly. Our meal and drinks were with us in about 5 minutes. I ordered the takoyaki and there were plenty in my portion. It was unbelievably cheap too. I had a milk tea with tapioca pearls and loved it. The hubby went for a Horlicks milk tea but says it wasn't to his taste (too sweet). Anyway for a quick hot snack and bubble tea you can't beat this joint on price, speed and flavor. All in all, great value for money. The venue could be a bit more comfortable for guests but I guess it is an Asian style fast food place and the layout reflects that. read more

I love the quickly here !! I came here for the first time with my cousin and the atmosphere was really cozy. The price there is very reasonable and the portions are huge. We ordered a popcorn chicken and spam masubi and wow the size was huge. We even had to take it home because of how much they gave us. The Boba there is also really good and reasonable for its price. Super fast service! I called in 6 min before getting there. Ordered 2 drinks, popcorn chicken and cheese sticks. As soon as I walk into the door they had it ready with condiments! Was trying to stop by order a few milk teas this afternoon. was very much surprised and offended by a young male store attendant. While I stood in front of him, he ignored me and kept sitting and playing with his cell phone as if he didn't see me. With being ignored about 1 minute, I asked him if he is ready to take my order. Then this young gentlemen just asked me "what do you want to order?" with his cell phone still in his hand. I told him that my expectation on him from a customer point of view is to be professional, ie., greeting the customer, at least not playing with cellphone while customer waiting in front of him. I think that is a reasonable request to any one who runs business seriously. During my interaction with this young gentleman, not even one staff from this store said sorry to me though they were all around. read more

More like a 3.5 for me, but this is probably the best Quickly I've been to so far. Not because it's new, but ... because... maybe it's because it's new. To be fair, all Quickly's suck. The customer service is as unpleasant as every other Quickly I've been to, as if their company policy is to frown and make people feel punished for coming. However, this place seems to shoot out orders a bit faster despite the lack of employees. And you know what? Their popcorn chicken here is a lot better than the other sister locations. It's consistently crispy with none of that chewy fat stuff that makes you feel awful. I can't speak much about their boba drinks because frankly, I never cared for their powdery fake-ness but you can't get mad at those dirt cheap prices. I've been to this place since the day it opened and watched it become dirtier and dirtier, which was ironically neat. Despite that, their decor is a lot nicer and the menus are seemingly more organized and wider in variety. Smells like waffles in here too! I kind of wish there were more stools to sit on, but you do have a whole waterfront to sit at outside. read more

I'm sitting here at 9:30PM (pacific daylight time) eating my fried octopus bowl, intermittently squeezing liberal amounts of sriracha onto the fluffy rice below, sipping bubble milk tea (boba?), and I'm thinking to myself: everything's gonna be alright, everything's gonna be alright. Spent a little over 7bucks on this late night meal and I enjoyed it, not wowed and not upset about anything, sometimes you just gotta draw a line in the sand and say four stars has to mean something, can't always round up the three and a half. Probably one of the lesser quality Quickly that I've been to. Ordered a rose milk tea - it was sooooo sweet, like clawingly sweet. Waited for all the ice to melt but it still was not diluted enough. Only thing I liked about it was the egg pudding I had added to my order. Also ordered a green tea waffle - if i hadn't seen the SLIGHTEST hint of green color, I would not have known that it was actually green tea flavored. Tasted like a normal waffle though it was unusually gummy... take that as you will. Service was pretty bad. My co-worker was in line immediately after me but the waitress ignored him for 10 minutes and a line started to form behind him. It was kinda rude. I understand if you are busy, but at least let the customers know why you cannot take their order or notify them how long it will be before you can take their order. Just saying, "be there in 5 minutes" goes a long way. Anyway, in the end, co-worker and I were both dissatisfied with our orders. Won't be back. read more

I know quicklys r disgusting to begin with, but this place just sets the bar sooooo much lower. Service is absolutely horrible. The guy taking our order CLEARLY doesn't want to be there, moving sluggishly to the register while we wait. After he takes our order, and the pop dogs r ready, he doesn't even let us know our order is ready. Just mutters something, drops the order on the counter and walks away. THEN, the outside of the dogs r burnt brown as shit, yet the insides r still cold as ice. WTF?? To top it off, the plastic bowl they put our order in was dirty and oily! I had the worst drink I've ever had at this location. I ordered an avocado snow with 50% sugar. When I took a sip, it tasted incredibly bitter, so I went back and asked them about it. They then supposedly added more sugar for me, but did it really rudely and dismissively. It didn't just need more sugar, but it also needed ripened avocados, not rotten ones. I was in a rush, so I wish I had taken a sip of the "improved" version right then and there before heading out. I won't be going back. read more

I Ike this Quickly store a lot. Normally I go to order drink and food including my favorite popcorn chicken. They are so generous. I always get a big box of popcorn chicken. However, you can not get the same amount of popcorn chicken in other quickly stores! read more

If you need a quick dessert fix, Quicklys is great for that. They have a large menu which can be intimidating. You also can add different toppings to any drink. However, I find that a lot of their drinks are too syrupy which affects the taste. In the end I prefer the smaller mom and pop shops. read more

Got a black milk tea with boba yesterday and something was really off about the boba pearls. They were soft but kind of crumbly. It's really hard to describe...maybe they lacked elasticity? I don't know if maybe they were old but I didn't finish the drink which, if you know me, is very unusual. If you are expecting your order "Quickly", don't go to come here on a warm afternoon expecting your order anytime soon. We expected a wait, especially with the number of teenagers and families in there at the time, but this is ridiculous! There are only 2 people working this place, it's packed and we had to wait just to order. The girl taking orders is also the only girl making the drinks. And she's having trouble bouncing between the cash register and making drinks. The other guy is only cooking the food. If I wasn't hungry, I would've just left, like the 2 customers behind me did. I think the cook can seriously only fry 1 dish at a time, because he's backed up at least 5 orders. And only one dish is coming out every 5 minutes. Don't they have more than 1 fryer back there? Popcorn Chicken Rice Bowl: chicken is tasty. A bit on the peppery side the sauce on the rice is super yummy. Sweet and flavorful. Goes great with the spiciness of the chicken. Chicken wings: Yummy! (Based on my 8 year old son's taste. And he's a chicken wing connosieur.) Fried calamari. Average. Could have been crispier. Normally I love this location but when this man (see my picture that says "several terrible experiences with...) makes my drinks I feel like buying my quickly fix else where. Today I ordered a green tea honey milk tea. I wanted him to use the jasmine green with my milk tea. He snapped at me and told me he couldn't do that. He said he could only use black tea. Mind you I was dumbing down my order because I've already experienced his incompetency. At this very same location one gentleman makes me a honey rose green tea flawlessly and that is a much more complicated order than this. I went back to get a refund and he proceeded to tell me I ordered it wrong and yell at me and my girlfriend and got extremely close to my face while he was yelling at me. I couldn't even explain to him what a drink I wanted because he was tuning me out and yelling at me. He then said he couldn't process my refund because I didn't pay cash and was very rude about giving me a cash refund. Unless this guy receives some special training I'd avoid ordering anything too complicated with him to say the least. I haven't had a bad experience with any of the other staff though. Thank you quickly foster city for mostly great service! Update 3/01/16: The owner replied very promptly and very kindly and reminded me why I return to this location so frequently. Every other male employee has made my drinks flawlessly and kindly. All the female employees have made my drinks excellently and with kindness. The green waffle I tried once was great. The condiment selection for the popcorn chicken is unmatched, I've never seen a quickly provide ranch for the chicken before. All in all this establishment has made me happy accept for the last encounters with man I took a picture of. Props for finally having a decent boba location in Foster City. Even though it's common around here, I still prefer Quicklys over ChaTime (both located in the Edgewater Plaza). However, I'm not too down to spend $3.50 (average price for most boba drinks nowadays) for a regular sized milk tea boba. For a better boba experience, go down the road to T-Pumps (formerly in downtown San Mateo). The popcorn chicken is also overpriced. Wouldn't recommend it as Ocha Tea (The Marina Plaza in San Mateo) does it better. read more

They just opened and really was not sure about this place at all since mostly Asian people mostly buy from this place. When they first opened, I tried their green ice tea for 99cents and it was pretty good and just the right sweetness. And today, I tried the Strawberry/Kiwi smoothie and the clerk said that she would not make it too sweet for me, which is was good and it was perfect on this hot day today in Foster City. A great place for snacks and refreshing drinks. I've had their popcorn chicken (must have!), rice bowls (good), moffle (yum), and milk tea drinks. Considering the multitude of items on the menu, I applaud their ability to provide consistent, tasty food and drinks. Yes, it is a franchise, and I've eaten at other Quickly locations, but I find this one superior. Obviously a family run business with nice, kind, people you'd be happy to support. Decent boba place. Lots of different selection of drinks and snacks. Their tea is strong and not too sweet which is ok for me. If you like sweeter tea drinks, you will need to ask to make it more sweeter. Boba is a good size and chewy but not sweet and I prefer boba to have a little sweetness to them. Good popcorn chicken and chicken wings for snacking. I also like their curly fries. Plus their prices are very good compared to other boba places. It's crazy how tea drinks can cost $4-$5 a cup now. read more

The tastes of boba (sweetness and softness) is unstable but it is good place if you do not bother much. The price has increased quite a lot in past few years. The original tapioca ice tea used to be really cheap around $1.99 and that was why we used to go there but it is now around $3.99 so I would rather go to different boba place for better tastes. read more

Just went last night with my boyfriend as it was down the street from where we lived and wanted to do a quick boba run. Service was eh but what really bothered us was the drink quality. We ordered one normal almond milk tea to go. We took some gulps. The almond powder was not fully dissolved when we got our drink and they made it way too sweet!
