Quick take: fast and efficient I haven't had Quickly in a really long time. I was in the area and decided to order a Taro Milk Tee w/boba and popcorn chicken. The size of the drink was perfect. The popcorn chicken use to be a smaller portion. I got a big bucket of popcorn chicken. Very crispy and got the seasonings in pre-packed to go containers. Everything was inside a to go bag with sticks, straws, napkins and seasoning. The milk tea is okay. The customer service is 5 stars. Thank you!

Trifecta alert! Quality, Quantity, and Price were superb! We had the popcorn chicken - great taste, appreciated the 5 spice powder on the side for extra flavor. Huuuge serving for the price. I dare say it was almost too much for 2 people, but then my wife said, "you're just ungrateful!" Had the fresh watermelon slushy which was refreshing. Also the bubble waffle was solid.

The food and drinks are great! Lives up to its name - it's very quick. Service is friendly and you can either order at the front or use the kiosk. So many options to choose from and all are delicious. The view outside is beautiful, right by the water. Great safe community for after school snacks or hanging out. My favorite is the watermelon slush... and the champagne grape slush!

Oooof my childhood wrapped up in a boba store. I grew up drinking Quicklys several times a week in my teens (bittersweet when the Millbrae location shut down). I love almond milk tea ($4.99) but it's almost impossible to find at typical boba shops. It's always a huge surprise whenever I come across one that offers this drink. Fortunately, Quickly has always had almond milk tea on the menu. I just didn't realize that there were still locations near me! Some of the prices have doubled/tripled since my teen years, but the quality has remained the same. Not gonna lie, I miss the 99 cent drink options! The menu still looks as crazy as ever, but I love it. The Foster City location was super clean and the cashier was very nice. Will definitely be back for my almond tea fix or when I want to take a stroll down memory lane.

Think of an Asian 7-11 and you can get a sense of the place. It serves a variety of different Taiwanese foods, snacks, and your typical assortment of bubble tea, and other Asian drinks. The menu can look quite intimidating. To orient you, the drinks are on the left and the food options are on the right. Popcorn Chicken (3.5/5): Super generous portions of super crispy chicken. The batter itself could have used a bit more seasoning, but they do give you two different powders that you can dip the chicken. Egg Puffs (2/5): Tried the taro filling. This was a bit disappointing as the batter tasted much more like a pancake than the typical fluffy/bouncy egg batter. The taro itself was also too mild in flavor and could barely notice it was there. The ones at Meet Fresh in Downtown San Mateo are a lot better. Peach Slush (5/5): This was super refreshing and had great fruity flavors. We got it at 50% and I thought this was perfect. I would say that this is more of a peach drink with ice rather than a true slushy. Overall, Quickly is a good convenient place to grab some Asian snacks and bubble tea. You can likely find better options for each item at other places, however, if you are willing to drive around. I'd likely come back to try their different drinks as they have flavors I haven't seen at other places (e.g. Yakult), but would really only get the food if I was hungry and didn't want to bother going some place else.

Fun and refreshing, and not too sweet. I got a strawberry green tea with traditional boba. The order arrived quickly, and the ice wasn't even melted nice strawberry flavor, but not too sugary. Loved it!

The guys forgot to sweeten their boba. When I asked for less sweet, my boba milk tea was a watered down tasteless drink.

Out of the 3 drinks we ordered, the miso caramel latte was the standout. It was sweet, but the saltiness of the miso caramel helped to balance it out. I would order this again if we return. The sesame latte was way too sweet for me. Only order if you like extra sweet drinks. The matcha latte was not good at all. It tasted like iced milk, as there was barely any matcha (was a light green once mixed). I think it would help to serve these in a smaller cup so there's a lot less milk, or add extra ice to decrease the milk volume. I'm surprised that people seem to be really big fans of their matcha drinks, but it's possible that it was a consistency issue.

I'd definitely come back to try the other fruity drinks too! we ordered the tom yum noodles, preserved vegetables & pork noodle soup, salt & pepper fries, and the HK style french toast with peanut butter. the french toast was our favorite- it was fluffy and chewy and was just like the HK classic. the noodle dishes were both so hearty and flavorful too, and the portions were a good size. it did take a bit long for everything to come out, but it did seem like there was only one person working and she was very kind and accommodating when we had questions about our order. we didn't mind at all, especially sitting outside and enjoying the view! overall, I'll for sure be back for the drinks and to try some other HK style street food.

We were initially going to just stop by to grab drinks, but decided to sit down and order a few snacks as well. The location is right behind Foster City's Central lake and the weather was nice, so we decided to sit outside. We ordered the HK style milk tea, OG lemon tea, french fries, and the siu mai. If I just ordered the drinks, it might have been a better experience. The fries were okay, nothing special - they were a bit softer than I like. The siu mai was just bad. I'm not sure where it comes from, but it was gummy in texture and tasted like frozen food. There were only 5 small pieces and we still couldn't finish it. The drinks were priced fairly, but the snacks were overpriced for what it is. You order at a kiosk so there isn't much service to talk about, but we did have to ask for a ketchup a few times before they remembered to bring it to us. Maybe I'll go back to try the actual food dishes.

There was no line at all, so my drink came out really quickly. Service was efficient, and basically non existent since you order on your phone, and pick it up from the counter. They have some seats indoors and a few benches outside, it's pretty spare and basic inside which is all you really need in a cafe. I saw a lot of people getting takeout, and some small groups around tables chatting. I was debating between the matcha and houjicha, then got intrigued by the black sesame, and finally after much internal debate, decided that black sesame + houjicha would work best together and wanted the einspanner. They honestly have so many intriguing options like Earl grey matcha einspanner??? Banana pudding?? I have to come back. My only complaint is the price but I guess everything is expensive these days. $8/9 for one of these drinks hurt my heart though. On the flavors: while I wish there was more black sesame (I always do), this was one of the most satisfyingly black sesame items I've had from a cafe. It went really well with the toasty roasty notes from the houjicha and I think they added enough of both amidst the milk to make it a very satisfying drink. This can be rare because a lot of places drown out all the flavors with too much milk. The best part though, was the einspanner - the sweetened whipped cream on top really brought the whole drink together and was so delicious. It made it just that little bit more decadent. I got it at minimal sweetness and at first though it wasn't enough, but I was glad I did as I worked my way through the cup, it was perfect.
