The prices are reasonable, and the cup sizes are big(even smallest one would be a medium size in Starbucks or similar chain), a variety of tea options are great, and the bubbles are yummy. They pack​ your tea in a plastic cup, with an airtight cover, so you can safely put it in your bag if you don't want to drink right away. The only downside - this place is cash only, so do not rely on your credit card. Never bought food here, so can't comment that also. read more

The popcorn chicken here is so-so and there are much better options in Chinatown (try Sweetheart Cafe), but I do like the variety of bentos offered here. It takes a few minutes to get food orders, but everything comes out hot and fresh (fresh being used loosely in this case). They have boba specials from $1.50 - $1.99 and deals like $2.99 tiger tea. Drink prices are cheaper than boba spots in the Peninsula, which is nice. This Quickly also has a small area upstairs where you can enjoy your drink and chill. read more

Nice place to stop in and grab a quick (no pun intended) bite. Pretty much only a boba and snack place. I shared the fried mushrooms and curry fish balls with a friend. The mushrooms were golden and crispy and were of the white button variety. Decent and as expected. The curry fish balls were kinda meh. I like the appearance of my fish ball to be golden on the outside and the texture to be tender yet solid. Not trying to be a fish ball snob because well, they're fishballs but I have some standards. This fish ball had a rubbery texture (and had a squeaky teeth effect) and appeared to be several layers within one another. Okay, whose awful idea was it to have ONE person run the cash register, take orders AND make the drinks? I am not exaggerating when I say that I waited 30 minutes from start to finish. This store is located at Kearny and Jackson. It was recently just opened, and like most people who are recovering from wisdom teeth extraction, I was craving some delicious meat. In this case, popcorn chicken. Since this was just recently open, the prices are really cheap. $2.99 for all snacks except for their egg puffs and bento bowl/boxes. The chicken was overall good, unlike most Quickly's, they filled up the bag full, instead of partially full. Cheaper price AND with more food in the bag...SCORE. As for the popcorn chicken itself, my only complaint is that the seasoning was very uneven. The first three chicken that I had, was drowned with seasoning. I generally can eat spicy food, but those first three chickens.... I was dying from the spicy-ness in the seasoning. Other wise, it was good. Reason why I am giving this place a 4 star instead of 5? The wait. I know...it takes a while to fry the food, however I waited for around 15-20mins for it. Why that long? Only I'd be super excited to randomly find a Quicklys while meandering through the streets of SF. I'm a milk tea fanatic. I need to start a help group. =P This location right at the edge of Chinatown. You order on the bottom floor and if you want to stay and dine in, there is seating at the top. The bottom floor rather cramped space and gets really tight when there are a lot of people waiting in line. And there were tons of teeny boppers on a Friday night. Went twice (yeah I'm hardcore) during my SF trip and tried the sesame milk tea (hot) and peach milk tea (cold). Both very delish and not too sweet. I chose those flavors because they aren't on the menu at the local Quicklys I frequent. I love that the peach flavor also tasted very natural. And you can taste the tea in both drinks. Oh and also on the menu...fried seafood! Maybe because SF has better access to fresh seafood? Anyways, bf and I were delighted and ordered the fried oysters and octopus. Good portions and they tasted great! I'm sad SoCal locations don't have these on their menu. Lot's of cheap specials on the menu. Look at them before you order. Drinks and food are made pretty fast. We came by on a hot Saturday around 2pm (after lunch in Chinatown, before a movie downtown). Hot for SF, delightfully warm for most other places... The tiny space was super busy inside and definitely not helped by my group of 12. My large jasmine green tea with no milk and extra boba was good, not too sweet. The drink was refreshing and the boba was tender and chewy. The drinks were cheap, about $5 each, and came out relatively fast, given our large order of 12 drinks. Quickly product wasn't the same as the one in Asia. Don't know why. There were some choices of Japanese appetizers which are nice to pair with the drink but the place is so tiny. There were only 4 seats in the first floor but there are some seating available on the 2nd but there were so many loud students playing cards when we got there. Pretty delicious boba and popcorn chicken here. I come by this specific Quickly when I am eating around Kearny Street. It's convenient located, open late, and fast and making you the drinks. The boba milk tea for $99 + $0.50 cannot be beat. It's probably their best drink since they make so much of it. The only thing I don't like about this place is that they tend to get a lot of homeless people walking in/out. Once, one of them tried to steal the tip jar. Don't forget to check out upstairs also. Bottom line: a very affordable quick snack or drink place, ideally located bordering chinatown and little italy. They have a large menu of various asian foods and drinks here. I was impressed by both the variety of foods and drinks you can order, and by their affordable pricing. I only had some bubble tea from here, and I thought it was only "okay" as it had a slightly different flavor than I'm used to. I didn't think it was especially great, which is why this place gets 3 stars instead of more, however, I've only tried bubble tea here, once - so take my rating with that in mind.
