Before I start this review, let me disclose that I hadn't checked on yelp to see what they were working with. I saw Quickly. I saw boba. I recalled those places that didn't have a dairy free option. I had to have it. So I did. I thought Taro + Rose would be a cool mix. Cashier lady thought otherwise with a curled lip so... I ordered them separately. She was dry af. 0 emotion. 0 customer service. I think this is my favorite Quickly location out of the few choices I have in the Daly City and surrounding area. It's located in Westborough plaza and depending on the time of day, parking can be tough but it's not too bad. I actually really love their fried mini octopus from here. They have the perfect batter and crispiness to it compared to the other locations, so although it's a little further from home I don't mind driving out here. I only get regular milk tea and switch up the toppings every now and then, so on that end, it's good in any location I go to. read more

I'm not sure why this location is rated so low. I had a good experience here last weekend. The location is within the Westborough Square, so parking may be challenging, depending on how busy the shopping center is. We had to wait outside upon arrival because there were a few people ahead of us. I ordered the popcorn chicken, an original mochi waffle, and a Thai iced tea. After I placed my order, I waited outside because it quickly got crowded as more people came in, and it was hard to social distance inside. The wait time was a little longer than expected because they were short-handed (there were just two people working - one to take orders and one to make all the food and drinks). I did notice they had hiring sign up, so they are definitely aware they need the help. It took about 20 minutes or so to get my order. The mochi waffle was a little softer than I would've liked but very sweet. The popcorn chicken was pretty good - they had salt and pepper and chili pepper to add on top. The Thai iced tea was good, but I had to add more ice when I get home. All in all, a decent experience, and I would recommend going during off times or whenever you are not in a rush since they are short-handed. read more

Yeah this place has those mason jar mugs that you can purchase for an extra $1.50 but when I asked what the benefit was like if I used it on my next visit if I would get discounts the cashier ignored me and said something in Chinese to her coworker.. I was hoping Bon chon was open but it wasn't so we ended up here. I am sure that the majority of people know of Quickly already, so the 1 star review isn't for the drinks or food itself, it's for the customer service and atmosphere in the place. I was already a bit turned off seeing the big poster on the outside of the front door stating absolutely no other food and drink are allowed. I can totally understand their way of thinking, but really you need a huge poster right before you walk into the business. Upon walking up to the cash register, there's another sign showing their grand opening specials along with a disclaimer if you change your drink at all they charge. (I'm guessing this may be for all their drinks and not just the specials, but i was too scared to ask) Um ok, with all the milk tea/boba places around some of the things this quicklys wants to charge for are free. Oh and wait make just a reminder that you shouldn't be writing on their walls there's another sign right outside their bathroom. So the overabundance of constant "don't do this" and "we will charge you" signs really aren't the worst of all. Let's talk about the younger lady who was working the front area during Friday afternoon! Talk about attitude! She was rude in taking in my order in her body language and voice. I could barely get my hand up in time for him to give me my change as she just plunked it down hoping my hand was there. I watched her ring up a few other customers while there and she did the same thing. When she announced the drink order for pick up it was with attitude. I was waiting for a couple of the drinks to fly off the pick up counter because she would just push them or she would slam them down. I highly recommend that if this Quickly's wants a staying customer base you either get rid of her or make her take a class in customer service. Drinks and food are on par with all other Quicklys. Price is a bit more than some others I've been to. Oh and they have this sign up on their register stating cash only but they take cards. They really should just take their stupid sign down. Inside it is very clean and spacious, but I didn't enjoy myself at all there. If you want to be treated rudely and feel like Big Brother is watching you go to this location. I personally won't come back to this location. I'll take my business to the one in Towne Center in San Bruno where so far I've never had a problem or treated as rude. read more

I experienced the worst service! I know this Quickly just opened, so as I expected the service was a bit slow. Since they only have 1 cashier that make the drinks and one cook for the hot food. My first complain, the cashier doesn't greeted and no smile. Dhe doesn't looked too welcoming. My second complain, I ordered a hot bubble milk tea. The milk tea is hot but my cup is only half filled. I asked it is how a regular drink looks like half filled, she said yes, this is a regular size. This is not my first time ordering a drink from Quickly, I know how a regular size drink suppose to be a full cup of liquid not half full. I got ripped off, paid full price but got half price drink. The ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I have ever been a part of. Stopped by on a Thursday night around 10 PM...ordered a boba Thai tea...Thai tea made without boba. Asked the rude male barista if we could have boba in our drink. He advised boba is .50 cents...gave him a $20 bill. The extremely rude barista placed a separate cup with 1/4 boba inside on the counter next to our Thai tea. I asked the barista if he could either put the boba INSIDE the Thai tea, or remake our drink. He rolled his eyes and said "you need to tell me BEFORE you want boba in your drink! It's health code I can't remove the top it's sealed!"... We exchanged a few choice words and he finally removed the seal, poured the cup of boba in the Thai tea, sealed it, shook it and placed it on the counter before walking away, again rolling his eyes. THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have experienced, pretty much anywhere. The male barista needs immediate customer service training, or needs to work in the mountains somewhere away from people so he doesn't offend anyone. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. read more

Went to the quicklys in North Carolina first and it's a lot newer but the one in Cali has a huge menu with so many options. Our order came out in a timely manner and the Jasmine Taro Milk Tea is great. Not too much tea or too much taro. Just the perfect amount of both blended really well. I've always had a biased opinion about this place because a lot of my friends would normally say it's not good. Decided to come here today because I really wanted Boba. First thing I noticed when I walked inside was the huge menu on the wall. Instead of taking my time to look at the menu I just ordered what I normally get, almond milk tea with Boba. However, today we went there and there was another girl who was extremely rude and in-helpful. She refused to make a drink that we ordered and said they don't do that here, when every other time I have gone the girl has made it. I explained to her that every time we come, the other girl makes it. That actually she's the one that told us about it but she said well I don't make it. This has to be one of the worst Quickly I've been to! I'm so disappointed that this place was so bad. First, the workers did not want to be there. On their phones and not attentive. They must be SUPER lazy because they have a sign to let them know what size you want and what toppings you want. Um, I've never been to a boba place that doesn't ask those simple questions. They either don't speak English very well or they're lazy. Either way, I've been to the Quickly in Daly City, with Asian workers as well, and they ask those questions, so I'm not sure why they have that sign. Another thing is their popcorn chicken isn't cooked the way I like it. This is more of a preference. Yes, these pieces are big, but they're not crispy. They were soggy. The taste was ok, but the texture isn't the way I like. Also, my sister got the almond milk tea and there were still large pieces of powder and/or sugar. They didn't mix it well, which gives me another reason to believe that they're just lazy. Lastly, they charge for a bag. Yes, this is the bay and they charge, but she should have let me know before I paid that if I wanted a bag that I need to pay. They should add THAT to their sign I get that people have to start somewhere to earn money, but dang. They need to be better at their job. We come here once a week. The orders are ready pretty fast, and they have never gotten an order wrong. We order anywhere between 2-6 drinks and 1-2 snacks every time we come. I like my drinks and boba simple and to the point. And this is what Quickly is. This is a no frills type of boba store but with a lot of variety of drinks and options for toppings. The popcorn chicken is a generous serving. I also like their mochi waffles. Always made fresh. Some of the workers are friendly. Others are curt. They don't always have drink trays. They also charge for bags. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. If there's a long line then there will likely be a longer wait. This usually applies to all restaurants. read more

The strawberry milk tea tasted sweet and refreshing while the popcorn chicken was chewy and crunchy. Sure, the service could be a little quicker, but their food is worth the wait. It's super quick, I cant argue with that but also horrible. The decor is very cluttered, the menu is huge, and that boba drinks are enough to fill you up if you have no discerning tastes. I also can't get over the weird fried, waffle, etc smell that's constantly present.
